BSOD (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL igdkmd64.sys)

Hi, I am facing the problem of BSOD - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL igdkmd64.sys on my laptop (HP ENVY 15-j126tx)

OS: Windows 8.1

Intel HD Graphics 4600 with the version of the driver 10.18.10.3277

I try updating the driver, but the problem doesn't seem to be resolved. I also try to restore the pilot but after cancellation, I have been unable to adapt to my screen resolution and brightness (I'm not sure he always get BSOD DNon).

What should I do to fix this?

I hope that it was able to solve this problem with the resolution of the screen and able to adjust brightness.

Thank you.

Can be resolved by updating the driver manually by using the Device Manager.

    Hello

the igdkmd64.sys file could be the driver Intel Graphics. Have you tried to download the drivers directly from the Intel web site? If this is not the case, try using this link:

  • BSOD - DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL fzbomx.sys - impossible to find something about it!

I got the BSOD for almost a year, or more, and he just started to stop automatically restart and enter the Startup Repair tool. I found a bit on the hand "Driver IRQL, etc." but absolutely nothing to the 'fzbomx.sys '. I searched my C: to it, but nothing comes. How can I solve this? I BlueScreenView but I don't know where to go from here - and it does not give me a place where the fzbomx.sys is.

This happens often when I watch something on youtube, playing iTunes or scroll through photos on the internet. He also the bluescreened as soon as I opened Internet Explorer (I use Chrome).

This is information is no on the blue screen:
    Technical information:
    STOP: 0X00000001 (0X00000002, 0XA6033000, 0 X 80711741)
    fzbomx.sys - address 80711741 base at 807D000, DateStamp 4cc6bfe8
    (32-bit processor)

    This isn't a well-known driver name.

You can download Autoruns here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902

and check if it is listed in the section of the driver and other information.

This could be a random name created by something like an antivirus program or malicious software.

Try scanning using some of the free antivirus like Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware.

Search for rootkits with TDSSKiller http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208280684

Try a scan with Windows Defender offline offline http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline

Clean boot to see if you can isolate the component causing the crash:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If you can probably cause a crash with Internet Explorer, this could be an effective way to proceed.

As a last resort, you can download the debugging tools for Windows from the Windows SDK to analyze dumps and see if you can find the underlying cause.

We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

WE NEED AT LEAST TWO FILES DMP TO SPOT TRENDS AND TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are that if you are unsure if you are, you are not)

    Hello

To help you, we will need files DMP to analyze what exactly happened at the time of the accident, etc.

If you don't know where the DMP files, here's how to get to them:

    1. go to the folder % systemroot%\Minidump.
2 copy all the DMP files in the Minidump folder on your desktop and zip then those files.
3 download the zip containing the files DMP to Skydrive or a Web hosting of your choice and paste in your answer.

If you plan to use Skydrive, but do not know how to download it, please see the following:

    http://www.WikiHow.com/use-SkyDrive

Please note that all programs "cleaner" such as TuneUp Utilities, CCleaner, etc., default will remove DMP files after use.

If your computer doesn't generate DMP files, follow these steps:

    1. start > type systemroot which should show the Windows folder, click it. Once inside this folder, make sure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to create a new folder and name it Minidump.

    2. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > performance > settings > advanced > make sure there is a check mark for "manage automatically the size of pagefile for all readers."

    3. Windows key + key Pause. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings > failure > ensure there is a check mark next to "Write an event to the system log" > make sure that "automatically reboot" is unchecked.

Make sure Small Memory Dump is selected and ensure that the path is % systemroot%\Minidump.

    4. check that the viewers is ENABLED:

Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

    Kind regards

    Patrick
