BTHOMEHUB. HOME WEB SITE CERTIFICATE
When you try to set up my BT Home Hub via bthomehub.home, I'm in there is a problem with the certificate on this Web site. If I continue (or use http rather than https) im advised not but everything works ok. No reason and no idea how to solve this problem? Thank you.
This is not really a Web site, they are actually stored on the home itself hub (not that is not on the World Wide Web). The certificate it uses when you access the site using HTTPS is that issued by itself to itself, that is why he does not trust. Since there is no real reason to secure the connection between your computer and the hub, you can also just use http://bthomehub.home to access. I always use http://192.168.1.254.

The most common reason for this is that your computer clock is wrong.
Right click on the clock in the system tray. Select adjust Date and time.
Check and correct the month, day, year, hour, minutes and time zone.
Reboot if you have changed all the foregoing.

Hello
I'm new to the WAT of short component and I try something.
Whenever I enter any website URL, it throws this error indicated in the screenshot.
I read WAT usage guide that says to add the SSL Web site certificate in the folder ' certificates/server '. I still get the same error.

I have a problem of access to certain websites. I get a message the site's certificate is not valid and advises don't not to access the site. What is a security problem with my Internet Explorer settings? If yes how can I do?
Open Internet Explorer (only) to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Select CUSTOM and scan | Install all security critical updates available (e.g. KB2183461). If an update of root certificates is listed (possibly in the category of the optional software updates on the left side of the scan results window), install it to enjoy enhanced Internet Explorer security. ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft

I run google ads on my site, but now the new version of firefox automatically blocks all ads in because my webiste is deemed dangerous, even if I have a google check that I can provide details if necessary.
My problem is that (relatively speaking) low percentage of visitors using firefox and adds monthly traffic, if I want to make my Green webiste failure...
I added the image from my Web site
Please note that Firefox does block all ads regular navigation. This can happen in only private browsing mode.
We have added a new feature in private browsing mode called tracking protection, designed to protect the privacy of the users by limiting the third follow-up. Given that the Google ads program uses third-party tracking, ads on your Web site can be blocked in private browsing mode.
At present, have no way around that because Google ads are the responsibility of the third party tracking category. Blocking ads is not because of your Web site certificate.
Note: Users can also block ads on your website by using a Firefox addon. Mozilla does not develop or maintain these addons.

I looked through previous questions and remove any software suspicious (it was not really, just a Bing bar). I deleted firefox and reloaded it. I bought Norton Antivirus and ran a scan - nothing. Date and time on my computer are correct. Explorer works very well. Help! I prefer firefox, but I can't access ANY Web site. I get this message every time.
I've been down all the instructions on the Firefox support forum, and nothing has worked. The question may not be the Web site certificate, because it happens to EVERY SINGLE website I try to access. Nevertheless, I have add an exception for Facebook according to the instructions. That caused a strange page, not formatted to come. Since, I have read that to make an exception is dangerous because it can cause MORE unwanted malware to infect the computer.
However, I did figure it out on my own so maybe this will help those who are facing this problem in the future: after reading the past messages from those who have experienced the same thing, I realized that, in all cases, the solution was to remove some kind of unwanted software (malware). I'm very careful NOT to download the software and I noticed that another victim of this says the same thing, so it's sneaky. I even bought new software (Norton) antivirus, performed a scan and the problem has not been found.
I went to programs "to uninstall programs," sorted by date and anything that looked suspicious that was recently removed. I had something with the word "rocket" in it. It looked like a game. There is also another program that I removed (don't remember the name of it now). Removing those does not solve the problem, so I returned through all programs on my list and removed something that said "toolbar" on this topic, even if it was reliable (I had a bing and google toolbar). That doesn't seem to work either so I sort the programs by date again and I noticed that the software "rocket" was ALWAYS THERE.
I have a click with the right on it and then click on 'uninstall' button again. It takes unusually LONG for this program uninstall AND nothing appears on the screen. The computer has just sort of is there and does nothing. I left and when I came back (about an hour later) the program had disappeared from the list.
Firefox now works. I no longer receive this message, but here's the deal: I'm not 100% sure what program was the problem. It was this software of rocket or one of the toolbars. Nevertheless, the answer always seems to be some kind of unwanted malware, so I recommend that any victim of this problem try to uninstall the suspicious programs initially. And this means that ALL suspicious programs are RECENT, regardless of if they resemble games or antivirus or another. If it is new and you do not download it, uninstall it.

Why am I suddenly a message that almost all of the sites that I try to go are not sure? I recently downloaded an update to Norton, now ever site I go to says he's blocked... not a safe site... saying: "there is a problem with the security of the Web site certificate". They are all sites I've visited several times before...
Hi again... found an old answer here that tells someone to check the time / date... Mine was off for some reason, changed and WAM... Thanks for your response, tho...

I keep getting "the certificate for this server is invalid" for all SSL web sites.
Since the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra I get certificate errors on my Mac Pro to the end of 2013. It will work fine right after a reboot, but then it will start refusing to open all web sites that use SSL. In this case until I restart, then it kinda good.
I thought it was some kind of problem caused by the application of update after update to the Member, then I've completely erased from the hard drive and reinstalled Sierra fresh. And now the issue of the certificate is back.
Anyone else having issues like this? Anyone know of a fix?
Do you have a third party anti virus or other applications that claim to protect, manage, clean, etc. from your computer? If so, uninstall them. Do you get the same message when you are using another browser?

How to open 2 sites on start and 1 Web site when you click the home button?
How to open 2 sites on start and 1 Web site when you click the home button?
You can change your shortcut on the desktop Firefox with two starting URLS. To try:
- Shortcut on the desktop: right-click on the icon, choose Properties
- Icon taskbar pinned: clic click right on the icon, right click in Mozilla Firefox, click on properties
Windows normally selects the shortcut tab. If this is not the case, go ahead and click on the shortcut tab.
You will see the target highlighted. On 64-bit Windows, which is usually either not less the following:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
For the specific shortcut launch pages, you can add them to the end, for example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -url "http://www.dilbert.com/" -url "http://www.gocomics.com/pearlsbeforeswine"
After OK'ing the Properties dialog box, you can test everything right now to confirm that Firefox is now launching a window with tabs. Either:
- Double-click the shortcut on the desktop
- right click on taskbar icon pinned, click Mozilla Firefox

Yesterday my Firefox seemed to spasm and I think I got a virus (whenever I hit the 'home' button which is google.com for me, send me to this weird website I knew wasn't sure). I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and ran the virus scanners, but nothing was found. After restarting Firefox, every Web site I try to go to gives me a dangerous error and I have to give each site a security exception, even for safe sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.. Once I got on Facebook, everything is in HTML format and I can't use it at all, I tried Firefox reboot/uninstall/reactivate once again, but nothing helped. I checked my firewall and nothing came. Here is the data according to the troubleshooting information.

I hope you can understand something I like Firefox, but it's very frustrating that I can't use it and that it happens. I also use Avast! Anti-SECURITE but I'm fairly certain that has no effect on this problem. As I said I also ran malware and virus scanners but nothing came harmful.
Hello
Try to disable the Avast web shield and try to go on some safe sites where you met the "untrusted connection". You can also follow this link for the other common troubleshooting steps: error "this connection is untrusted" message - what to do.
You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- AdwCleaner (for more information, see this other AdwCleaner download page)
- Microsoft safety scanner
- Anti-Rootkit utility - TDSSKiller
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
If your home page has been changed, and you do not have the suspicious extensions:
- Tools (or
) > Addons > Extensions
You can use the Search to reset tool to reset your home page, the new tab page and search bar default back. The extension to uninstall then once that these preferences are reset.
Let us know if that helps.

How to define a group of Web sites as a home page
I want to configure my home page so that it is a group of Web sites. Similar to what you see when I click on the button tab. BUT I want to clarify what these Web sites and I want that they NEVER to change. Can I do this? Is the case, how?
I misunderstood your request.
You can add sites to the new tab page and then pin them so that they are not deleted. For more information, see customize the page new tab

I started all of a sudden the problem "untrusted connection" on earlier work https: Web sites with the "not provided any transmitter channel" as a reason. I tried all the proposed solutions and nothing works. I ran several programs antivirus and no viruses or malware detected. I don't have any such installed ESET suggested in the previous solutions. Display of certificates for the default sites shows that the provider in all cases is 'Digitalmarketresearchapps Pty Ltd'. Certificates are always a start date and an expiration of 2039. I think I picked up something that causes the problem, but as I said, none of my antivirus/malware programs are detecting anything.
I had this problem as well, and he ended up caused by the installation of the E-Rewards application notify. I had to uninstall and then restore my computer to an earlier time to fix the signer of the certificate again to "Thawte Consulting (Pty) Ltd". I contacted E-Rewards to let them know and ask why this is happening.

Problem with Firefox 13 certificate and secure Web sites
Hello
I am using Windows 7 32 bit on a Dell laptop.
Everything was going well until I've upgraded to Firefox 13 a few days ago. I can't not to connect to Web sites secured like Gmail, Amazon, etc.
It works perfectly fine in all other browsers is not an OS related issue.
I use ESET Smart Security 6.0 beta and he hasn't behaved badly with any application.
I tried the basic solutions as compensation network, the browser history cache, etc. I also reinstalled 13 (own) of Firefox.
There is no modules or extensions installed in Firefox. The Proxy is set to 'No Proxy'.
Each click in gmail throws an "Untrusted" error, even if I get certificates and store them permanently.
I also tried tweaking all: variable config like below, but did not work.
Browser.XUL.error_pages.expert_bad_cert = true
Please help because it is extremely difficult to work with these problems.
Thank you
AnandBingo!
I removed SSL scanning from ESET 6.0 and re-installed all the more recent Windows updates. Everything works fine now.
Thanks for your help!
Best wishes, Anand
