Problem with Firefox 13 certificate and secure Web sites
Hello
I am using Windows 7 32 bit on a Dell laptop.
Everything was going well until I've upgraded to Firefox 13 a few days ago. I can't not to connect to Web sites secured like Gmail, Amazon, etc.
It works perfectly fine in all other browsers is not an OS related issue.
I use ESET Smart Security 6.0 beta and he hasn't behaved badly with any application.
I tried the basic solutions as compensation network, the browser history cache, etc. I also reinstalled 13 (own) of Firefox.
There is no modules or extensions installed in Firefox. The Proxy is set to 'No Proxy'.
Each click in gmail throws an "Untrusted" error, even if I get certificates and store them permanently.
I also tried tweaking all: variable config like below, but did not work.
Browser.XUL.error_pages.expert_bad_cert = true
Please help because it is extremely difficult to work with these problems.
Thank you
Anand
Bingo!
I removed SSL scanning from ESET 6.0 and re-installed all the more recent Windows updates. Everything works fine now.
Thanks for your help!
Best wishes, Anand

I had problems with access to most of the Web sites and noticed that HTTPS no longer appears whenever I try to access a Web site. I can easily connect to my gmail and facebook account, but the problem is that when I click on a link on FB and gmail, I get the annoying message "refused to connect.
How to address this issue, rather how to make HTTPS permanent so I can easily access any Web site. The date and time on my laptop are both correct. I am currently using OS x 10.9.5.Please!
How to address this issue, rather how to make HTTPS permanent so I can easily access any Web site.
My guess is that you have a damaged or invalid certificate entry OS X KeyChain, but to directly answer this question, I would say that consider you something like HTTPS Everywhere. Note, it is not available for Safari. It is available directly through the Google Chrome browser extensions.

Problems with sandbox RemoteObject errors and security
I have problems with an AS3 AMF RemoteObject application that is hosted on Google App Engine. I have a crossdomain.xml in the root of the domain file and also a remote endpoint.
Here is the content of the root crossdomain.xml:
<? XML version = "1.0"? >
< cross-domain-policy >
< site permitted-cross-domain-policies of control = 'all' / >
< allow-access-from domain="*.appspot.com"/ >
"< allow-access-from domain =" *. {appid}.appspot.com"/ >}
"< allow-access-from domain =" *. {appid} .com "/ >"
"< allow-access-from domain =" *. .org {appid} "/ >"
< / cross-domain-policy >
I replaced my request with {appid} ID. In the endpoint crossdomain.xml, he said exactly the same thing, but it omits the tag < site-control >.
Loading the swf file and test it on my machine works fine... I think that may have something to do with me having the debugging version of Flash Player. When I push it up to App Engine to make it public, other clients access and get an error error #2048 Client.Error.MessageSend Channel.Security.Error url: http://05-alpha.latest. {AppID}.appspot.com/_rpc/Data}.
I use Flex 4 beta and the duration of the App Engine Python. I tried many character generic in the crossdomain and even access to the endpoint of a relative URL data to avoid this error.
Someone please help! Thanks in advance.

Problems with Firefox 5.0.1 Lion Web page layouts
After I downloaded Lion, I ran Firefox 5.0.1. Immediately, I noticed significant problems of layout in CNN.com and MSNBC.com. And on Facebook, friends, message, and notification of the icons at the top on the left did not. More than the incoming Facebook messages comments. Even the button that says "Show the X comments" in the messages of friends did not. For comparison, they all work very well on Safari 5.1.
I restarted Firefox 5.0.1 with plugins disabled and still encountered the same problems.

Problems with Firefox Beta Android and .pdf files
I read the local newspaper online, and individual pages are in the form of .pdf files. With the Firefox for Android beta by clicking on said ads downloadable file and automatically calls up the default PDF Reader which opens the page. Some recent changes in the beta just downloads the file. I then manually click to open it. Tried default compensation on Firefox and the Kindle app, force judgment both, all without result... suggestions?
Bob
the change has been made in firefox 25 - that's why you now see this behavior only in the beta version of firefox. the general release for firefox 25 is scheduled for next week.
I initially also thought to recommend the pdf.js - addon as an alternative, but I find it very slow on my android too. Unfortunately I don't know any other solution currently. -
Problems with the windows firewall and security
I have a laptop running under 7 and windows firewall are not available. I get error x 80070424. (Windows Firewall cannot access some of your settings) Most of the posts I read tell me to go to control panel services and start the service of security. I'd do it except the security service was not FOUND. Searching for information on how to restore this function is useless. I really need to solve this problem. I run malwarebytes on the system and removed a lot of bad things, run Norton power Eraser and it removed another bho, but I can't solve this problem. Help, please.
Thank you

Since the last update of Firefox (Version 4.0.1) I do not see a security lock when I connect my two web sites to secure Bank so am forced to use Internet Explorer for internet banking. I contacted the St George Bank and the ANZ Bank and both say that the problem with Firefox, not their systems. They advise also strongly me to not perform Internet banking unless the security padlock closed is visible in the window secure. The padlock is not visible when I connect secure site of PayPal. Before the upgrade, this problem did not exist and there is no when I use IE. Firefox is my favorite browser.
The status bar everything has been redesigned, so now allows you to check if the site is secure the box to the left of the address (green, blue or plain).

There is a problem with Firefox 'remembering' my Verizon residential account password. Using Firefox, I am obliged to enter my ID and password every time I closed my browser and then restart or close my e-mail for a while, even though I checked the option "keep me connected" significant given by Verizon. I spent a lot of time today working with the technical support of Verizon and they (and I) can verify that it's specific to Firefox and IE is not the case. So far, this seems to be limited to the connection from Verizon, but there may be other affected accounts protected online. If it helps, I run Firefox under Windows 7 with Norton Security and the active Norton toolbar. It is a real pain and needs to be repaired.
With the modules form filling;
Go to the web site. After you enter data in a form, tell you the

information based on the address of the site and the name of the
field of that information was concluded. If the same field shows

For you. So far, I have not found a web page that prevents them from working. -
I'm having a lot of problems with firefox and cannot figure out how to get help. It all started when I updated to 13. I get all kinds of advertising popups, I can't play a game on FaceBook called Farm Town at all, and I get a popup of AVG on the cookies that I can't get rid of. These issues are causing me to use Chrome quite often, although I like Fox better. I've searched and searched how to get help and find nothing. How can I get personalized technical help? These problems will not occur in Chrome at all. Thank you.
Do a check with some malware malware, analysis of programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.- http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

I recently upgraded to Firefox 5.0.1 and now the 'lock' icon is nowhere (I don't know) when you access secure Web sites. I've not seen once. It appeared in the lower right of the screen. I also have Norton Internet Security.
Well, in the secure Web sites part of the address bar is allocated to the part of the security certificate. For example, here in these forums you can see your address bar is as follows: mozilla.com . https://support.mozilla.com... The front ' |' ("mozilla.com") is what I'm talking about. For more information on the security certificate, you can mouse over and also clicking on it.

Original title: Windows Live Hotmail only opens a new window links e-mail composition!
I recently put my Windows Live Hotmail account to my default e-mail client in Internet Explorer 8 on my Windows XP SP3 System. Unfortunately, whenever I click on a link to e-mail on a Web page to open a new message, Hotmail tells me, "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Hotmail right now", and a new/compose message window does not open. I disabled the HTTPS option in Hotmail, which fixed the problem. However, when I went to do a manual update of Windows, I am nailed with a Trojan horse! Apparently, the Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials have been affected by turning off HTTPS in Hotmail! It's 2012, and it's terribly disappointing that Microsoft only has not ironed out all the imperfections in these services now. If anyone can give me a solution (in simple terms), I would appreciate it!
Thank you
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
1. you receive messages or error codes when you access Windows updates?
2. what happens exactly with the Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials?
About the update of Windows, the Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials issues, you may try to launch the FixIt and see if it helps:
Method 1:
Resolve security issues to protect and secure Windows automatically
The problem with Microsoft Windows Update is not working
Method 2:
You can also refer to article and perform a full scan on your computer by using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
On the Windows Live Hotmail account, you can publish your request in instances of Windows Live to get help:

The problem seems to lie between Firefox & Google talk to each other. I also use Safari as a browser, also liked to Shaw and don't have no problem with Google Mail, (cards and other sites which now belongs to Google.)
This is caused by the network of Shaw, they are working on a resolution, but in the meantime the fix above will work. After Shaw solves their problem be sure to reset this value by default is that it is a safety device, you do not want allowed.
