Bug in panel size: resizes nevertheless

Hello

I am trying to create a set of panels for work (I'm an artist 3D game dev-industry).

The problem I have is that one of my panels keep resizing itself everytime I open Photoshop.

The Panel is 63 x 885 pixels (this is a custom toolbar) and when I open Photoshop I can see that while the Panel loads, there these dimensions - but once loaded, for some reason stupid scales up to 32 x 885 pixels (it is white during load and then turns into CS6 - once loaded - gray and it is when he puts on the scale).

I had exactly the same problem with my second Panel, but I had to do was to resize the Panel within Photoshop, close the application and open it manually. It's like Photoshop says "settings" here.

I don't know what else to do here. I tried to set BOTH min and max values to dimensions within the Configurator 3 and even the file XML plugin says that this sign of cursed God SHOULD be 63 x 885 - so I do not understand why these settings the PRECAUTIONS of some value I have never defined.

Whatever it is, min and max setting values do more harm that good for me - it adds just scroll bars when it is not necessary.

Also:

This is a new installation of Configurator 3 so it's not the problem.

I also tried selecting all the elements of my, copied then, then created a new Panel from scratch (paste in my items here).

Tried different names, different dimensions, all... I read somewhere else here on the advice of adobe this Configurator 1.0 had a bug in resize it, but come on - shouldn't that be fixed by now? Configurator has been around for years, after all.

Please help - I am getting extremely irritated over here that nothing seems to work

Sorry to say that configurtor has several bugs related to size in the product. I've listed 3 bugs which related to this topic below.

Here, I am very sorry to say these 3 bugs are not fixed but for traore dependent correction on the side of the product.

1: "open or re-export a panel with a small width in Photoshop, the width of the Panel is incorrect."

2: re-export a panel with a new format in Photoshop, the Panel is always displayed as the previous size and the Group of experts has two different background color

3: If a panel of small size (width of the export< 150="" pixels)="" into="" indesign,="" the="" width="" of="" the="" panel="" at="" run="" time="" will="" be="" changed="" to="" be="" about="" 150 ="">

  • front panel size between decoration

    Hi all

    Does anyone know if there is a way to size, a façade based on a decoration.

    for example, I have a front apnel GUI with a flat frame decoration.

    I spent some time tweaking the front panel to show what is inside the flat frame decoration.  I go back and change some stuf and repeat these optimizations.

    It would be cool if I could just put highlight the object of decoration and tell the VI to resize based on the decoration.

    I tried this VI-> Panel-> Decos []-> Index [2]-> MasterRect to set the FP. PanelBounds.

    It is assigned the same size as decoration, but not really where the decoration, see VI attached.

    Any ideas?

    -Sean

    You must set the origin of the part of the façade as well.

    But as Ian said, it is probably best to design your front and your decoration so that its located at 0,0 and place in upper-left corner of the window.

  • curves panel size

    Does anyone know how to resize the adjustment panel curves when called from image > adjustments > curves instead of use an adjustment layer.  I know, I know, always use an adjustment layer, but in the teaching of mounting base, it is useful to demo the possible adjustments if they are understood before embarking on the layers.  On a laptop this Panel hides almost the entire image being developed.

    Thank you

    John

    The curve dialog window is not feasible. It os 452px 656px.  Requirement of Photoshop is a 1024px by 768px screen but 800 1280px is recommended

    • 1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended) with 16-bit color and 512 MB of VRAM (1 GB recommended)

    So on a screen of minimum size, the curves dialog box occupies 38% of the screen.

  • WHY do we have a % * # update every 2 weeks until persists 1 really bad bug (fonts and sizes change randomly when entering)?

    Y at - it sort of STOP TB, to send updates every two weeks (and BTW this slowed down TB / crashed more and more in the last two months) until they have fix this really irritating bug to randomly change the fonts and sizes when you write an email? Outlook does not, Apple mail, didn't do so to stop spamming and begin to address the real problems for a change!

    Nothing of the sort, overall we are very poor typists. How can I know what others are doing? I do it myself. I touch type? Not and nor do the vast majority of people. Even those who say they do.

    How can I know something about the issue? I've seen other people complain and the results are similar to the serious, where my advice. In my opinion, that most of the people with problems touch with appearance and no content is also to experience. Most are apparently not aware more you are trying to improve the appearance of your mails using the fonts and sizes the worst they look almost invariably to the purchaser who does not have the police fancy you selected.

    In my opinion, the code that goes into the composer's poor by the standards of today and the suffering of his age and bitrot. Most of it is written in C++, and most of those who work on Thunderbird are people of Javascript. I do not worship at the altar of God any Mozilla and I have few illusions. Either on the code, program or the people who use it. Or at least I like to think so.

    What I hold as a hope, it's a complete rewrite of the composer happens, or at least people who can make the scriptable code so many of these things can be upholstered.

    Your comments about Microsoft releases and past years their fixation are neither correct nor helpful. Unfortunately the back doors and new threats are discovered almost daily. The software industry overall solves the problems as soon as they can and issues a patch. Automakers weigh the cost of litigation related to failure (how can die, be injured) against the cost of a recall. Sorry, but as far as I don't like regular patching, I prefer the approach of the automotive industry.

  • The new version, I installed today (25/06/13) keeps the size of the browser for some awfully big gawd Office size resizing. How can I get him to stop?

    This isn't a question to run in full screen or minimize/maximize... I resize down and throw later and it comes back as an office of great size.

    Hi Griffvan, Firefox now allows to adjust the zoom level of the page according to your settings in Windows, to better support high DPI displays. For example, if Windows is set to the font size of 125% (120 DPI), the content area will be enlarged by 25% compared to 21 of Firefox and earlier versions.

    The straight to the earlier style display line is the approach of two steps:

    Step 1: Install the extension of theme font & size changer . Why? Because disabling the scaling affects the area of chrome (menus, toolbars and tabs) as well as content.

    After restarting Firefox, click on the new 'A' icon at the right end of the navigation bar and change the size of the police from Normal to 15.

    Step 2: Change your global scaling in the topic: configuration preferences editor.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the pix and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and change its value to 1.0 for Firefox 21 size of the fonts in the content area.

    This should take effect immediately without another.

  • Panel properties resize

    In Dreamweaver CS6, the properties panel is too small and cannot be resized. I am running Windows 8.1 on a 64-bit computer with a screen placed at 1366 x 768, which is automatic for my Vizio screen. I tried to find something in the preferences (none), looking at different .xml files with DW (afraid to touch), tried to move the Panel (without change) different places and tried several previous discussions similar problems of survey (nothing fits). It appears the most in a set of Spry properties.

    I'm NOT a programmer or even much more than a beginner in DW.

    Help, please.

    DW PropPanel.jpg

    Looks like it is pushed off the screen on the bottom.

    Click the tab properties, not the bar from the top of the Properties window, just named tab and drag it away from the bottom. Who will turn it into a floating window.

    Once again, it's a floating window, it reglisser (again of the tab) to the bottom of the screen until you see a highlight appear as part of the application. Release it and it "should" put in place at the bottom without overflow out of the screen.

    Something else to try would be to reset your workspace to the title of the window > Workspace Layout > Reset "your workspace name.

  • How to get only the central panel to resize and display a scroll bar?

    I have a window (frame) that has three panels - upper, middle and lower. When the window is narrowed down, I need a scroll bar is displayed for the central panel only. If the maximum possible vertical shrinkage would be the sum of the upper and lower panels and a small amount (to display the scroll bar of the central panel). So the upper and lower panels should always be completely (height wise). Please review my code and suggest corrections. I tried the couple in different ways, but without success... The code below is my latest attempt.

    If you are using a BorderLayout, then Center will develop and reduce both the need and therefore should work as you wish. For example,.

    import java.awt.BorderLayout;
    import java.awt.Dimension;
    import javax.swing.*;

    public class PanelResizingB extends JPanel {
       private static final Dimension PANEL_SIZE = new Dimension(300, 150);
       private String[] labelStrings = {"Top Panel", "Middle Panel", "Bottom Panel"};

       public PanelResizingB() {
          setLayout(new BorderLayout());

          JPanel[] panels = new JPanel[labelStrings.length];
          for (int i = 0; i < panels.length; i++) {
             panels[i] = new JPanel(new BorderLayout());
             panels.add(new JLabel(labelStrings[i]));panels[i].setPreferredSize(PANEL_SIZE);}

    add(panels[0], BorderLayout.NORTH);add(new JScrollPane(panels[1]), BorderLayout.CENTER);add(panels[2], BorderLayout.SOUTH);}

    private static void createAndShowUI() {JFrame frame = new JFrame("PanelResizingB");frame.getContentPane().add(new PanelResizingB());frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);frame.pack();frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null);frame.setVisible(true);}

    My main movie clip has a child clip inside. When I resize the main clip the child clip dimensions seem to stay the same. I perform a trace on the width and height of the element of the child, and no matter what I resize the main clip to the dimensions are the same as before. It is possbile to know the size of what the child is after a parent resize? Thank you

    You're scaling of the parent and if the child clip will appear larger.
    its width and height will remain the same. This is because it is of dimensions
    have not really changed, her parents have. To get the clip of the child
    * screen * use of width:

    nActualWidth = mcParent.mcChild._width/100*mcParent._xscale;

    Hello

    the turn of Flex, there is this control between the tree view on the left and on the right web page. This control allows you to adjust the size of one control at the expense of the other.

    However, I'm new to Flex and I don't see any dragable control over the view of the components of my Premium Edition of Adobe Flash Builder 4.

    Can someone tell me what is this control?

  • Cs4 vertical Configurator Panel resize limit

    Hello

    Maybe this has been mentioned before, but when I try to make a custom for photoshop Cs4, Panel

    the Group seems to have a vertical limit when resizing which is much more than what I initially created.

    For example, this one was created in 71 x 94 and cannot be resized vertically more that the screenshot.

    Anchored or not is the same

    resize.png

    I also tried other sizes for the original Panel.

    Someone has an idea?

    Thank you

    Marc

    Hello

    There is a "resize" bug in the Configurator 1.0.

    When you export a Panel and open it the first time, Panel to resize the width and height you assigned as cromaline say, after first Panel only is not resized, given that photoshop will remember last size of your Panel.

    But if you resize it in a larger size exceeds the size by default photoshop (220 * 220), when next time launch photoshop

    Photoshop will remember this size, then you can't resize it smaller.

    There is a solution

    on Windows, system go to folder C: \Documents and Settings\

    Look in the "PanelSizeStore.sol" file and delete it.

    Then restart photoshop, you can see the Panel resize to your original size.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot resize the front panel

    I can't resize the front panel to a smaller window.  I put in (0,0) minimum window size, unchecked maintain proportions and to scale all objects.  I had originally put the size of the minimum window to 1012 x 616.  When I close the window property and re - open the settings still collated (0,0) while they are saved, but I am unable to reduce the size of window smaller than 1012 x 616.

    Also, there is open space on both sides in both dimensions, so I'm not running in the front panel objects.  What property/properties miss me that locks the minimum panel size?  One last thing is that I'm able to resize windows from any SubVIs I the same project and edit the minimum window size them and they respond as expected.

  • PS CS6 Panel does not remember when I resize

    When I open a properties panel / adjustment layer and I develop the Panel by dragging the corner, when I close the program I have to resize the Panel the next time I used CS6

    What Panel specifically do you use? If possible, attach a screenshot of your workspace.

    From my experience, if I resize my panels then restart Photoshop, they remain the size I resized the to-to my knowledge, this is standard performance. I have just tried to recreate your issue with the addition of an adjustment of an image layer, expand the properties panel and then close Photoshop. The reopening of Photoshop, the Panel I resized fact not reset, so I don't know why yours isn't doing the same thing.

    You can try to reset your preferred workspace by going to window > workspace > Reset [workspace name], then by restarting Photoshop. It may seem ridiculous because resetting the workspace is your problem, but it's worth a try.

    I will continue to search to try to find an answer for you - but reset preferences usually does the trick for performace wobbly in Photoshop. And again, it could be useful to transfer your question in the forum Discussion of Photoshop.

    Good luck!

    I'm having a problem trying to develop custom controls and expand my GUI beyond the default options Labview.  I'm using a Visio flowchart to illustrate an industrial process.  I encountered a problem trying to add items such as indicators of tanks to the façade.  To do this, I'm importing Visio images, in photoshop and then saving them as png to maintain transparency.  The problem I have is that when I drop this file .png on the front panel and resize, Labview seems to be falling pixels and cut the edges of my image.  This seems to happen on which corner I resize the base.

    Example:

    Sample PNG bumped against a new front and then resized using the building in the container box.

    I have the same problems with the .gif files.  I have reviewed the various .png and .gif export options, and I don't see anything that I'm missing.  I don't have a problem with JPEG files, so it must be something related to transparency.  Is this a known problem or there at - it a labview option, I'm missing?  I am currenlty using Labview 2010 SP1.

    Given that I'm still in phase of my development of gui layout, I don't know the exact dimensions of all my items and I was hoping I'd be able to resize it as I'm going to and not to be completely locked in at custom controls.  Any idea would be appreciated.  I searched the forums, but all the questions that I could find were mostly programmatically resizing problems.

    One option, you can try exporting the EMF or WMF image. LV should be able to import that, and because it is a vector format, in my opinion, it should also resize correctly.

    Another alternative is to draw in BT itself, either decorations or control of image to draw programmatically (although you should be aware that this option can have performance issues).
