• Name of the Protocol have disappeared from the link tooltip

  The Protocol (http://) was removed from the URL in the location bar for http:// only pages in Firefox 7 and newer versions. Secure pages will always show the https:// Protocol. This can be confusing for some users. There is also a bug known, where if you copy the URL after selection of the awesome bar dropdown (but before loading the page) it does not include the http:// part.

  Users can revert to the old behavior by setting browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false in about: config

  Hello world! I want to report a serious bug and very annoing.

  It looks like a problem with the theme. I see 'tooltip' in the right-hand corner in this case and not at the same position as this button.

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

• Problem with the multiline ToolTip

  I like tooltips (even if I open many wishes, see here, here, here, here, here and here ), but now, I found a problem if we use a ToolTip that consists of several lines and its control is located near the bottom of the screen.

  ToolTips are smart enough to move to the left if the ToolTip text is too long to fit on the screen. However, the similar condition for a vertical movement has been neglected, so if control is near the bottom of the screen and the ToolTip text consists of several lines, it can happen that the lower lines are not displayed.

  I don't know if I should call it a bug or missing feature

  If I use SetCtrlAttribute (panel_handle, control_id, ATTR_TOOLTIP_TEXT, "blah blah blah blah \t\t"); then the \t is extended to a tab. It's what I expected because \n is extended to a carriage return/line break, too.

  However, if I use Editor UI to change the ToolTip string and enter the same "blah blah blah blah \t\t" text, then \t appears as \t.

  You know what I'll tell you, it's not very coherent and I would like to see \t work in the user interface editor, too.

• Popup dialog jumps around - bug or the way it is?

  I use dialog boxes popup for most of the CRUD operations and although I noticed this before, didn't bother me much until users have started to complain. What happens is that once the popup opens and its content is rendered (say the entry form), once the user advanced mouse above him, he jumps to an inch or two down. Users are used to until recently.

  Enforcement purposes was to have their word forms with the table in the pop-up dialog box. Several fields in the form have autosubmit = true and table refreshes when the user enters these values. Each time updating the table, the entire popup moves an inch upward or down on the screen. Very annoying, user continues essentially to set the cursor entry field. I can possibly understand that when the table updates and replaces the number of lines, the popup is reduced to the new height. But of course I expect that only the lower part "moves" that is to say that the top of the pop-up window is pinned to the whatever the screen position that it was.

  No idea how to prevent this?

  I looked in your sample. I don't see a bug here. Your layout is not just right. As far as I can see the jump is the result of too little dialog box. This translates the scroll bars added to the dialog box that allows you to jump. your dialog box has two child components. If you put them in a parent for example a stretch Panel layout, you get the best result. The I would set the size of the dialog box to a fixed value. This prevents the jumping.

  When my mouse flies over the data points, it displays a ToolTip.  I want to make sure the balloon does not appear.

  I think it's a bug, as it broke in CF 11. There was a submitted bug - Feature #3865148 - TipStyle attribute will not default change

  Does not seem to have been updated since a good time! It is possible to replace with css, although I think.

  I tried the following:

  1 - Display > Visual audience > box model CSS Layout (disable all)

  2 - Preferences > Code tips > activate ToolTips description (not checked)

  It is not a yellow box. It is white. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to turn them off.

  If you find them distracting, file a feature request, to have the option to disable ToolTips. Feature request/Bug report form. You will not get an acknowledgement, but all requests/bug reports go directly to the program team. If you make a compelling case to disable ToolTips, it could be integrated into a future version.

  Personally, I find most tooltips help to the obstacle, but different people work in different ways.

  If you're referring to something else, please post a screenshot.

  Thank you for the additional information and videos I reported the problems to my colleagues. We are able to reproduce the issues.

  It is displayed when you press the buttons 'Next' or 'Previous' slide show, Internet Explorer makes a selection of text in the "<" and="" "="">" since it is the text. The ToolTip icon, you'll see is to perform a "copy".

  I can't promise when these questions around scrolling and the shot will be fixed, but I hope that we are able to correct sooner rather than later.

• How to hide ToolTips triggers behind the target

  I am currently working on an interactive map. I am looking for the user to be able to click on a star on the map and for the info appears in a white box on the map. How I accomplished this using the ToolTip widget. I use just one problem, when box overlays other stars on the map, the stars are coming out on top, as follows:

  

  I can't reorganize triggers under the target and triggers uncheck on top also does not seem to do anything. Is there a way to accomplish what I'm doing?
