Bug: Repeating Google calendar events appear on bad days

I created a Google calendar event that repeats 'Everyday', two daily, from 18:00 to 18:30. It shows in my Google Calendar, but PRE calendar puts on bad days. For example, the repetitive event that should be scheduled for today shows up tomorrow (offset + 1 day).

I tried to turn off-grid time zones, but the bug remains.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is a bug, how can I submit it to Palm?

Thank you!

webOS 1.4 fixed these problems.

A new problem has arisen and that's weird.
Calendar events I add never appear suddenly.
Before, I would get a green dot on a date indicating a meeting or something has been fixed. No more.
If I put an event and save it, no green dot.
If I go on the events button immediately after recording one, it says that my schedule is free.
If I do a search for the event, I just saved, nothing comes up.
    But:
I always get the notice on the screen to remind me of the event (it's usually 24 hours before) and my alarm disappears an hour beforehand everything as it has been saved.
    It is a problem.
I can't check the events that I saved and if necessary change them or know they are coming, because nothing is displayed. It also means that will not be aware if I put an event that is in conflict with one another. I know for sure because when the problem I put the appointment even six times and am not once informed that it conflicted with a recorded event (which has been moved several times before) ultimately I guessed (correctly) was actually saved, appearing simply do not. But this must be corrected.

    Crazy problem

Your default value has been changed. Go to settings from the home screen, and then go to accounts. On the bottom bar is an icon with a check mark between two boxes. Tap on that and go to the drop-down list where it is said calendar. Change the setting of your e-mail account.

Maybe add an option in the calendar settings to synchronize all events.

  • Google calendar can not connect to the calendar app

On a new computer (Surface Pro :) I have connected my Gmail account to my Mail app and it worked as it did on my old computer. When I closed my Mail app I was expecting to see my Google calendar event appear, but nothing was there. I open the calendar application and went settings, and then click accounts. For some reason it was not connected to my Google account for this application. I tried to connect the account, but it showed whenever (my e-mail and password were correct):

"Unable to connect. Make sure that the information you entered is correct. »

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Mail-calendar group, but he did not do anything.

On a note related, when I first tried to sync my Gmail account, it did not work and the app has said something like "unable to connect to this account", but later it was working fine except the account who worked was a duplicate of one that didn't work. I deleted the duplicate which was not working and everything works as normal in the Mail app could be the reason why the calendar app did not work?

Google stopped their sync Exchange system, which is the synchronization system used for completely almost all smart phones and PC on the planet.  Rather than implement the CalDAV standard as widespread, Google has just announced that they will use a synchronization exclusive customized service to advance calendar.  They published API that allow for that integrate other software with this service publishers, is not impossible to think that it can be integrated in the calendar app in the future.

I know it's incredibly ironic for Microsoft to be on the receiving end of the present, but with anti-competitive measures Google takes, you're probably only going to get the best experience of using the Microsoft calendar service, Outlook.com (formerly Windows Live Calendar).

There are ways to get Google Calendar to show up in the Windows Calendar by adding the iCal feed to your Outlook.com calendar, but as far as I know is the only option right now and is read-only.

  • Lightning events do not fill in google calendar

I installed the add-on "Provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4." When I do an event entry in the Google Calendar, it appears in my calendar of lightning. Conversely, if I do an event entry in my diary of lightning, it does not appear on my Google Calendar. I use lightning 4.0.4.1

I managed to solve the problem by removing the add-on of the provider and the continuation of the process of this site: http://www.technorms.com/7955/sync-google-yahoo-windows-live-calendars-thunderbirds-lightning. Thanks to those who contributed.

  • Can't see the other hand google calendars

Recently my computer I created another calendar in google calendar to share with the family, without having to share my main calendar (so this calendar can include only events of interest to us all without clogging each other calendars with appointments of dentist or reminders.) On my Xperia Z3 Compact, I see my main calendar without sharing, but also a calendar that was shared with me by another Member of the family, but not the calendar I created using my account google connected and shared with other members of the family. I can see all calendars when connected to google calendar on my computer. How it appears on my phone?

You seem uncomfortable with the calendar, so I almost hesitate to think that, but if you go to calendar and click on the menu, you should see all calendars at your disposal (you must check the box so that they are visible).

Another idea would be to try to force a synchronization under Google accounts (if auto sync is turned off in the settings/accounts).

Last suggestion - ensure that your calendars are synchronized or otherwise saved / back up. Wipe the storage calendar in your list of Apps (should be under 'ALL') and then re-sync. It worked for the Lady in the article below:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones keeping old calendar events in Outlook and Storm2

Is there a way to keep all appointments, regardless of age on Outlook and my Storm2?

Just got my Storm2.  Downloaded/installed the latest office software.  Allowed to update the Storm2 OS via USB, the desktop software.  Desktop software configured to synchronize my Outlook 2003 (no Exchange involved, only local server).  I tried all the dates on the calendar (including former appointments, etc) to be both Outlook and the Storm2. On the first synchronization, all the calendar events appeared to transfer fine from Outlook to the Storm2.  However, on subsequent synchronizations, the desktop software apparently wants to delete all appointments of old (about 2 200) in Outlook.

    Here are the details:

    Phone: Storm2 9550
    OS phone: V 5.0.0.71 3

BlackBerry Desktop Software: 6.0.0.40 (Bundle 42)
    BlackBerry Device Manager: 6.0.0.11
    BBDevMgr: 4.1.0.14
    RIM USB driver: 4.1.0.4
    RIM USB Serial Driver: 2.2.0.3
    Application loader: 6.0.0.36

    PC:
    Windows XP Pro SP3
    MS Outlook: 2003 SP3

P.S. I'm new in these here.  Should I post this question in another forum?

For good measure, I did a hard reset on the Storm2 after changing the option «forever» you described. Then I did a synchronization one-way calendar to recover older events calendar on the Storm2.  When I've reconfigured the synchronization two-way calendar, I also did "Remove alarm for items being passed" has not been checked.   So far so good

    Thank you very much.

  • Google Calendar does not synchronize with all calendars.

Just set up my new Surface RT to synchronize my Google calendars, but it is not to shoot the 'other calendars' (shared) I subscribed to by URL. For example, I have a calendar for my dish Uni which is drawn in Google calendars, but does not appear on my Surface because it is not one of "my calendars".

I read that the solution for this on mobile devices is going to http://m.google.com/sync, log and Google Sync allows you to choose which calendars synchronized. (See this section of help here: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139206and is used for Windows http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2430181#googlephones) However, the Surface has a full desktop browser, so I can't access this page there...

Isn't rather stupid that it is not just to sync all of your calendars by default? I mean Holy crap, if I see something in my calendar on my PC I have probably also want to see on my tablet... Any ideas?

Original title: Google calendar sync "other calendars".

Paste my answer to the same question on a different thread (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_rt-ecoms/how-can-i-sync-google-calendar-with-the-calendar/2d2a5311-49b7-434e-9096-34cab2b4d434):

I was finally able to resolve this (work around actually up to MS and Google work things). I followed the following steps:

    1. in IE10 (desktop mode), click the tools (Alt + X)

    2. click on F12 developer tools

    3. in the window that opens, click Tools

    4. expand the "Change user agent string" tab and select "Apple Safari (iPAD)"

    5. return to the window of IE10 and go to this address: m.google.com/sync

    6. connect to your google account if you aren't already.

    7. click on "WindowsMail.

    8. in the URL, you will see this string (without the quotes): "supportMultiCalendars = false". Change cela to "supportMultiCalendars = true" and reload the page.

    9. now your google calendars will be displayed. The main google calendar will be displayed as "my calendars". Other calendars will appear as 'shared calendars' and calendars under this option will not be selected.

    10. in order to select those "other calendars", disable JavaScript in IE10. Do so by following the instructions here (these instructions are for IE9, but also apply to the IE10): http://browsers.about.com/od/internetexplorertutorials/ss/disable-javascript-ie9.htm

    11. Select the calendars you want to add (I don't remember if I was refresh the page before the change takes effect Javascript).

    12. click on "Save".

13 open the calendar application to make sure that your "other Google calendars" now appear in the app.

  • Calendar events Google appears twice in Thunderbird.

Using Thunderbird 38.1, lightning 4.0.1.2, provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4.
I display 2 to google calendars, me and my wife, as I do when you access Google Calendar via the web.
On TB, however, some, but not all, some appear my events (never of my wife) twice on the calendar to display on the right side of the screen.
If I click on these duplicate events, it shows the "calendar:" as my google calendar and other shows "calendar: ' than 'me'."
Any suggestions how I get rid of one or the other (preferably "me")?
    TIA.

After uninstalling and reinstalling these two addons without success, finally I went tools-> advanced-> config editor & search "google". I found two entries in calendar-register for my calendar but only for my wife (more than one for a calendar holiday, that I was not subscribed to in Google calendar more). I'm resting at the entrance to holiday calendar and one of the two for my calendar, restarted TB & now everything seems ok.

  • All the events of the day so far here breed every year 1 of appears early on the Palm Pre but is okay on Google Calendar...

Anyone has trouble with the following? I exported the data from Outlook to Google Calendar and then sync with the Palm Pre. Most of the appointments transferred correctly. However, my all day this day events there breed every 1 year to appear early on the Palm Pre but is okay on Google Calendar. I have to physically change the date on the Palm Pre. However, when I do an annual recurring event, it still moves the event 1 day before the same day. I can't solve this problem.

Thank you all for starting this thread. I called, complained and asked if there is a solution to this problem, but nothing helped. What I got from Palm was of 'reboot start the phone '. This isn't a solution because it also accumulates in text messages.

  • iPhone creates the event twice on Google Calendar

I use the calendar app in my iPhone 5 c with iOS 9.2 to sync my Google calendar with five subcalendars.  They are all fine synchronization, for the most part.  When I create a new event on my iPhone, the event appears on my Google calendar in a few seconds.  It is ok.

HOWEVER, if I edit the event on my iPhone to one subcalendar to another, and then a SECOND EVENT soon appears on my Google Calendar.

Subsequently, my Google Calendar shows TWO events at the same time, one on each subcalendar, then my iPhone only shows a SINGLE, on the second subcalendar.

This behavior does not occur with calendar on my Mac running 10.11.2.  Can I change the subcalendars for an event over and over again, and my Google Calendar follows perfectly.

Any suggestions on how to research this problem would be appreciated.

    -Gil

I have a similar problem. When I add an event on my calendar to the iPhone, then change to another calendar (I have a few calendars different iCloud defined), it shows as 2 tests: one in each calendar. I tried to delete a. They were BOTH deleted. I was able to recreate the scenario once, but so is not not new.

I'm guessing it's related at the time of synchronization with iCloud (?)

  • Calendar hangs on the edition of an event created in Google Calendar online with > notification 1 week

I have a Z3 with the latest f/w but I got calendar crashing on me for a year now through different Z3 2 and it has just occurred to me what is the problem.

When you create an event on the phone, the maximum time of reminder, that you can set is 1 week.  When you create an online event in Google calendar you can set reminders later than 1 week before.  If you create an online event with say a reminder of 2 weeks and then try and change the reminder in the app, the app will crash.

    Coup27 wrote:

Uh, no?  This has nothing to do with Google and is likely to occur on any calendar that supports > notifications 1 week whether Google, Microsoft or other.  The app must be updated if it reflects the options of notification provided by schedules it supports with Google and Microsoft are probably the two main.

Have you tried to disable the calendar of Sony and replaced by the standard Google calendar app?

It is essentially the only way forward when there is a serious bug in an application of Sony. The interest to fix is minimal (see the responses on this thread). Instead of trying to reproduce the bug (it takes 1 minute to do), they ask you to try safe mode, reset your phone, the Voodoo dance around your phone, etc.

I'm disabling apps Sony one because bugs are never corrected (but apps to get a lot of new intrusive permissions to "improve the experience")...

  • Print Google calendar may include notice that there are more events in the date cell?

I use a HP Photosmart 7515, using Windows 7.  I want to know if the option of the printer Google calendar appears on the calendar printed in the date cell as additional events on this date.  It will print the additional events to the back of the page, but there is no information on the date cell of the printed schedule additional events are listed, so a reader of the calendar does not know that the additional events exist.  The print calendar can show something like "Plus 2", or "More", or some other similar indication that additional events in this date cell are listed on the back?  Thank you.

RoundyO, unfortunately, you are dealing with a limitation of the software you use is controlled by Google. HP printers only interpret and print information that is sent to them, beyond their software packages do not change the print.

If you have any questions on the calendars of Google, it would be best to contact them directly, because I'm not familiar with this software.

I hope this information is useful and Happy Holidays!

  • Calendar events added on iPhone do not appear in Outlook - 365-Exchange Office

I have had this problem since I use iOS 9.0 beta and I am currently on the 9.3.2 release.

About 75% of the time I add a calendar event to my calendar to Exchange Office 365 on my iPhone, which is my calendar by default, they appear on my phone but they never appear in Outlook.  25% of the time they appear in Outlook.

Conversely, if I add an event calendar in Outlook, they appear on my phone 100% of the time.

My calendar is blue.  The first picture is my iPhone and the second is Outlook - notice «Go to Bagby...» "and 'go to Kaplan...." "appears on my phone, but not in Outlook:

However, if I move these events on my iPhone to one of my employees schedules (designated in yellow/green/orange), they appear on their calendars on my phone and Outlook.  If I THEN move them back to MY calendar on the iPhone, they finally appear in my Outlook:

I tried all kinds of things to solve this problem and am at a loss:

    • New installation of iOS of 9.0 to 9.3.2
    • Deletion of accounts Exchange and re - add (I have 5 Exchange accounts on my iPhone)

I don't know what else to do.  I have no idea why create a new event would not push the event by Exchange Server to day Outlook, but the passage of the event to another calendar, and made it back.  I reported this problem in version beta, but it continues in the final versions.

    Any help would be appreciated.

This is something known; my understanding is that MS is working on it.

You could try the Outlook application. So far, I have seen no problem using it.

This problem is fixed in 27 of Firefox, but for now, you need to delete the bookmark and create a new bookmark.
