Build error [class bad file]

Hi all

I try to compile Hyperic HQ 3.0.4 by Eclipse 3.2 on Windows XP.
I went through the training to build.
But during construction, I got an error as follows.
Isn't good CLASSPATH?
I don't know how to do to investigate this matter.
If you could give me some advice about this, please help me.

> compilation-app-sources:
> [javac] 2557 compilation of source D:\Workspace\HQ3\build\classes files
> [javac] D:\Workspace\HQ3\build\src\org\hyperic\hq\autoinventory\shared\AutoinventoryManagerHome.java:109: cannot access org.hyperic.hq.autoinventory.shared.AutoinventoryManager
> bad class file [javac]: D:\Workspace\HQ3\build\src\org\hyperic\hq\autoinventory\shared\AutoinventoryManager.java
> [javac] file contains no class org.hyperic.hq.autoinventory.shared.AutoinventoryManager
> [javac] if please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath variable.
> [javac] public org.hyperic.hq.autoinventory.shared.AutoinventoryManager create()

Ah yes, you use the 3.0.5. tar.gz rather than subversion?  If you want just the update build.xml, you can retrieve it here:

http://svn.Hyperic.org/branches/HQ_3_0/build.XML?root=Hyperic+HQ&revision=4842&content-type=text%2Fplain&pathrev=4842

Beta 3.1 includes this change also.

    Thanks in advance

    Found the problem...
    the name of the short application created in the new short version is different from the old version and the host box is also different.
    for this reason, the old hostname, and the former name of the application were present in the exported xml information, site so I replaced that information with the information manually, is the former name of host with the new hostname and name of the application with the new name of the application in the exported XML site. Now, the importsite have worked very well.

  • ERROR bad file descriptor

    Hi friends,

    Here is my scenario:

    so that {(INFINITE_LOOP)

    1. create eraser.db DB allowing no transaction in dir & environment: /DB_DIR

    2. create expire.db DB without activating any transaction in same dir & environment: /DB_DIR

    3. run the Add - Remove Records operations on the two dbs.

    3. close the two dbs & environment

    4. remove the directory: / DB_DIR (using posix rmdir & loosen the API)

    5 sleep for 2 minutes. (It's stress tests... real sleep value is 24 hours)

    }

    This while loop works for a few iterations. But after a few iterations I start getting under the errors:

    Search: 0: (0 * 4096) + 0: bad file descriptor

    Eraser.DB: failed to write to page 0

    Eraser.DB: impossible to empty page: 0

    Search: 4096: (1 * 4096) + 0: bad file descriptor

    Eraser.DB: failed to write to page 1

    Eraser.DB: cannot empty the page: 1

    Search: 8192: (2 * 4096) + 0: bad file descriptor

    Eraser.DB: write failed for page 2

    Eraser.DB: impossible to empty page: 2

    Once that these errors that occur. All db operations begin to fail for all subsequent iterations.

    Now I have to stop my program and restart, then only db starts to work as expected.

    Please suggest the root cause of the problem.

    Kind regards
    ~ K ashish.

    Hi friends,

    The issues mentioned above is not related to the BDB. Finally, I found "once opened, but twice closed" descriptor question in my multi thread code. In our code a descriptor of the socket has been closed twice. After a few iterations of running, this problem has been unintentionally leading to the closure of one of the internal BDB file descriptor. Once I solved this problem. BDB started working as expected.

    For those who do not know to fill twice issue in multi threaded code read below:

    foo)

    {

    FD = open();

    a treatment.

    Close (fd);

    a treatment.

    Close (fd);

    }

    The code above works smoothly for one multithreaded application. But in our case of multithreading, so a 'X' open() calls thread when the thread is 'Y' between calls to close(), so in this case, thread 'X' will get the same fd to open what thread 'Y' was used (since open always return the smallest unused descriptor). File descriptors are shared by all threads. So when the thread 'Y' makes its second close(), it actually closes the file descriptor of the 'X' thread, which was valid & currently in use.

    That's what precisely going on with my code.

    TIP: whenever your multi threaded code, begins to BDB errors like first cheque 'Bad file descriptor' if there is a place in the code where you are "opening once but twice closing" any file descriptor.

    Kind regards
    ~ K ashish.

    Can you help me please?

    Looks like you upload a complete project of Cordoba to BMP. You should not.

    Try this first:

    -Move www root config.xml

    -Adjust the paths to the icons/splash in configuratie accordingly

    -Zip up the contents of the www, not the directory itself

    Once you have built it, please come back here, so we can guide you how to fix your remaining configuration errors.

    2. in each taskdef element, add the following child element

    3. Save and run the ant task in your project directory.

  • The most bizarre nature of build error

    When I tried to generate a distribution of source file in a project, I get the following error message.

    Error copying the files.

    Source: Program files: \National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\resource\visarc

    Destination: C:\Seals Group\LabView\builds\FSFF2 DAQ LOAD_and_LEAK\My Source Distribution\visarc

    Location.VI path of librarian

    Here are the details of the error.

    Error 1 has occurred to AB_Destination.lvclass:Copy_File.vi-> AB_Source.lvclass:Copy_SourceItem.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Copy_Files.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Build.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Build_from_Wizard.vi-> AB_UI_FRAMEWORK.vi-> AB_CreateNewWizard_Invoke_CORE.vi-> SDBUIP_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi-> SDBUIP_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller

    I checked the location of visarc and it is in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\resource not in program files: \National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\resource\visarc.

    Why Program Files being essentially appears as a hard drive? When I checked the VI search path, it is:

    C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\resource

    Could someone give me please a few tips I hit a brick wall?

    Thank you

    It has developed before. Have you tried a search?

  • Build error cannot find the distribution under construction

    I had a similar problem like this thread.

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/build-error-can-t-find-distribution-being-built/TD-p/1462842/page/2

    My old guard Installer and ask for copy of the installation is finish. Quite annoying because it takes so long to get there. Any advice would be appreciated. I've attached a screenshot of my error message.

    You created this problem by running a build already install on your development computer. If you are distributing drivers with your installer you should NEVER run the installation program on the machine on which you build.

    Here's what happens:

    All software shops NOR where it was installed since in the Windows registry. When you initially installed it note where you install (DVD, network drive, etc.).

    When you build an installer in TestStand will prompt for this location if it cannot find the original installation files (that is, if you take the DVD from the drive disconnected from the PC from the network, etc.)

    What happened on this PC is you have to build a Setup program, and then you run this installer on the PC, and because the pilots were already present it replaced the path stored in the registry with the path where your Installer (e.g.) was C:\Temp\long path)

    I'm guessing that you have now deleted this former Installer. That means that you have to re - run installers for ALL the software to, OR that you have installed on this machine so the registry is updated to point to the path of DVD or the network path.

  • The distibution (Ver 8.5) build error

    Hello - I am quite familiar with the Labview project and distribution of the source, but this one left me speechless. When I Isaiah to compile, I get the following error message and can't undersatnd duplicity or path error. The daqmx.rc is where it is supposed to be, and is not read-only. I have built many applications and distributions with DaqMX source as well. Here is the error message. Notice to lovers?

    Possible reasons:

    Error copying the files.

    Source:...... \Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\resource\objmgr\daqmx.rc

    Destination: F:\APPS\National Instruments\LabView Apps\builds\A6_A7\A6_A7 Distribution\daqmx.rc Source

    Location.VI path of librarian

    Details:

    Visit ni.com/ask support request page to learn more about the resolution of this problem. Use the following as a reference:

    Error 1 has occurred to AB_Destination.lvclass:Copy_File.vi-> AB_Source.lvclass:Copy_SourceItem.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Copy_Files.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Build.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Build_from_Wizard.vi-> AB_UI_FRAMEWORK.vi-> AB_Item_OnDoProperties.vi-> AB_Item_OnDoProperties.vi.ProxyCaller

    Possible reasons:

    LabVIEW: An input parameter is not valid. For example if the input is a path, the path can contain a character not allowed by the operating system such as? or @.

    NOR-488: Command requires GPIB controller charge controller.

    Thanks for the posts! Knowledge base article helped. My source distribution now works. It may be related to the fact that I use DAQmx and I also join event in the tree. (?) In any case, thank you for sticking with me until this is resolved.

  • System error memory dump files

    Is it safe to delete system error memory dump files after you run a cleaning disc?  Also what are system error memory dump files?

    Hi Cookie5354,

    Basically, error, say a blue screen of death (BSOD) Windows gathers all available information stored in memory at the time of the incident and that she "pours" in a file. The file can then be used by a support technician to determine what could perhaps have the error in the first place. Sometimes, when an error occurs on Windows will ask you if it can information additional NMCS to Microsoft. If you press the Yes button on the request message that appears, then Windows will download the dump to Microsoft Server files.

    Dump files are useful "but" they have the bad habit of taking a lot of space, so it is beneficial remove files to recover the space they occupy. Personally, I use a freeware thrid party application called CCleaner (www.piriform.com) If you use this and look at the bottom of the left side of the window of CCleaner, you will see a list of options what it removes. "Remove Windows error reports" is not checked by default, but I it check every few weeks or so, so that it clears the resports old error that are no longer needed.

    So, in answer to your question, yes they can be deleted.

  • NDK errors with external file

    I get no error in my code, but for some reason, I get errors in the file: 'unistd.h' located in '\target\qnx6\usr\include\ [ndkdir] '. I have 13 of them. Errors are: '' ssize_t' in the namespace "std" does not name a type', "std::dev_t has not been declared", "std::mode_t has not been declared" and "std::ssize_t has not been declared. Others are repeats (the first is the one that appears the most). They are clearly related. This is one of the lines that produced the first error: ' extern _CSTD ssize_t pread64 (int __filedes, void * __buff, size_t __nbytes, off64_t __offset _CSTD); I don't know why he did it, because I have not modified the file.

    Thank you and sorry for the bad title.

    An executable application must have a main function.  The linker does not produce your binary, unless a file object any provides a water main.  It would not be bound to the addition of the math library; It's just adding allowed mathematical library binding process to reach the point of trying to generate the final linked binary file.

    BTW, rather than add "-lm" for additional Options to the linker, you instead add "m" option of libraries.  This indicates explicitly the IDE your application requires libm, which may allow the other features related tools.  With a little '-lm ', the IDE know the meaning of the parameter.  (I assume that you have a construction project managed, not a makefile project)

    See you soon,.

  • Custom build package-class protection

    Hello

    I have a project that uses Ant bb tools and custom build script. Problem is that I found havn't solution how to specify for what classes and packages *. KEY file is applied. In projects created by using eclipse plugin is BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml containing ProtectInfo tag after selecting packages/classes in package-class Protection file editor. Building using plugin Cap reads the security descriptor information and adds it to CSL. File CSI. I do not use BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml in my project and then it raises the question - how store and pass information to the tool of signed on for that brother. COD to ask my own signing authority signature?

    The copy. KEY file in the directory entry for the CAP and adding its own authority ID he .csl helped me.

  • Code error 0x7E - the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is damaged. Setup cannot continue. Windows 7 Upgrade installation problem

    I tried to install Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, 32-bit version. My current system is an Intel iMac (later), with Windows XP - SP3 loaded as a virtual machine with Parallels Desktop 4.0 build 3848 (according to their website, it is supposed to support Windows 7).

    I allocated enough space RAM and HARD drive of the virtual machine to run Windows 7. No matter what I do, when I try to run setup.exe, I get the error message: "the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0x7E].

    The file 'autorun.dll' is present on the disk.

    I saw on the internet that other people have also had this problem, with or without Parallels Desktop, and get a replacement DVD of Windows 7 program made no difference to them. Nor is it an available answer, I've seen.

    My Windows 7 disc is new, so I was hoping that Microsoft could solve the problem for me?

    Thank you.

    OK, so, this response is a little late to come, but if you never solved...

    I just encountered the same problem - editing similar (Mac, Parallels 5 in my case, the SP3 of XP, MS Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade) - you must make sure that the DVDROM drive hardware is mapped to "D:" on your XP installation. Thus on the Parallels Desktop menu go to devices, CD/DVD1 and make sure that all your actual DVD player is called is selected (should be the vertical entry in the menu) - not true CD/DVD. The reader should then start and auto run.
    I hope this helps...
