Built in mic on my Aspire 5738ZG do not work properly when I use Skype. I'm on windows xp.

Built in mic on my Aspire 5738ZG do not work properly when I use Skype. I'm on windows xp, 32 bit. I installed the drivers Audio Realtek Acer official website but the microphone is still very low. Other people have said that they hear me very bad when talking on Skype, for example. What can I do?

You must check the Panel realtek on Mic Boost.

I don't know what version you have, but you can find some practical information to search on youtube on "realtek mic boost.

The microphone on my acer aspire one netbook does not work. I use also the audio if it helps Realtek HD. I tried several times to update the drivers and reinstall the software from the acer site, it does not work... any suggestions?

    Hello

    Thank you for your message.

I see that you are facing problems with the built-in microphone.

Let's not worry! I'm here to help.

    Quick questions:

    1. what exactly happens when you use the built-in microphone? You receive an error message?

    2. What is the status of the device in Device Manager?

Check out this link to learn more about device manager:

    By using Device Manager

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/snap_dev_mgr.mspx?mfr=true

Let's try the following and check:

    Method 1:

We will adjust the volume of your microphone and check if it is set as default.

    (a) right click on the "speaker" icon located on the bottom right corner the screen of the taskbar.

    (b) click on sounds, click on the recording tab.

    (c) click Microphone, and then click Properties. (Note to make sure that this work appears under Microphone. If the job does not appear, click on Microphoneand then click set as default.)

    (d) in the Properties of the Microphone dialog box, click the custom tab.

    (e) select or clear the check box Amp Microphone .

    (f) click the levels tab.

    (g) set the slider for the volume to the desired level, and then click OK.

    (h) click on OK to close the sound dialog box.

    Method 2:

I would also say that you update the drivers for your Microphone and looking for the issue.

  • Built-in webcam for Satellite A200 (PSAF6A) does not work properly

    Hello world

The webcam works fine once the system starts. But sometimes after the laptop is idle for a while or return to standby mode, the webcam does not work and a "Graphics rendering failed" error message appears when I try to turn on the webcam of the built-in Camera Assistant Software.
And I don't think that happens only happens on this machine: I got a replacement of the same model due to an error which is not related to the webcam, and again the same problem happened on this machine.

I tried different drivers on the site of Toshiba (AUS) and the driver of webcam usb by default by Microsoft, but the same result... I also read through the forum of Toshiba. Most related threads did not mention the "Graphics rendering failed" error message. I think that this problem is caused by a defective software by Microsoft or Toshiba; and the reason being that the webcam worked after the system starts and with the premise of no change in material or displacement of the laptop, it stops working after a short inactivity or return to sleep.

PS: I also reinstalled windows many times continue the recovery DVDs...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
    Tony

In my view, this problem could be related to the graphics card driver.
I saw this error message (failure of the graphics rendering) while playing a few games.

So in my opinion, this isn't just a question of webcam.

Try to update the graphics driver. I put t know exactly what graphics card you have, but try this sites:

    Besides what abdelhak says:

The message of PXE boot that you receive when you start your computer has nothing to do with your CD/DVD-Rom drive. Your computer uses a PXE boot method to attempt to load Windows from a location on your network. Since you do not have this configuration, it is safe to ignore it. If it slows down the startup time of your system, contact your manufacturer and ask them for instructions on how to "disable PXE Network Boot of the BIOS.

Vista references apply to Windows 7.

You probably need to recharge the device drivers and any software control of the 'IF' camera, there is
    everything for Windows 7.

    Login as an administrator.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers who are often older than the
those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot and then HIDE it and watch manually to see if their
really is a more recent version (at the time system manufacturer and the sites of the manufacturer of the device).

  • Aspire V3 does not work on battery

I have a week old Aspire V3 - 372T initally worked on the battery.  One day it won't turn at all out of fashion 'sleep' with or without battery.  According to the instructions here, I reset the battery with a paper clip, and it worked to the power.  Control of the battery Acer Care Center said the works of the battery, it is 100% fresh, but if I unplug it, the computer shuts down.

I do something weird or I would return the computer now that I spent 40 hours get my software and the files it contains?

    Thank you

I kept looking for similar problems and think that I found a solution to fix it.  It seems that Windows 10 plays well with the hibernation option.  I have reset all options to sleep instead of hibernation and I'm running on the battery again.

  • Tecra M4 - MIC will not work correctly when it is used by the language bar

I just bought a tablet PC - Tecra M4, but trying to dictate to MS office 03 using the microphone. Alas, when the training of speech MS Assistant it works at first but then the program stop recognizing the word and does not continue.

In the case of MS office, I also turn on the microphone and try to dictate to the program, the small bar recognizes sound and moves high downstairs, where I'm talking to you, but the program does not insert the words I want to say. I can use the microphone to record the vocals in a program note, but would really like to use it in word to dictation.

    If someone could help. THX

    Hello

I don t think that there is something wrong with the laptop. As you said the microphone works with other programs. In this case there must be something wrong with the software or the use.
I found this information from Microsoft site. You should check it out.

  • Satellite A210 - webcam built-in Chicony 2.0 does not work with MSN

I have a Toshiba Satellite A210 or also known as the A215 to the United States. I have a webcam Chicony built in 2.0, but more often that otherwise, it will not work. When I'm on MSN, it will come back with the message saying that it is not connected or installed. He decides to work sometimes but most of the time this isn't.

Even on portable real without using MSN, using Camera Assistant Software, the icon is always in the lower corner on the right, but when I right click on it and choose "Show Toolbar", I then click on "Start Camera" again, he will come even to the top. Or when it does, blue light comes on, then leave and then say "failure of the graphics rendering. And then I won't be able to use it on MSN. Even if I restart or shut down and run it then even once, it still not work.

I went into control panel: System: Device Manager: Chicony USB 2.0 Camera and then I have a right and updated click Update driver software, however on my laptop, I already have the best driver software.

I want to be able to use my webcam always whenever I start my laptop. Thank you.

When you start your laptop Camera Assistant software stop and try to configure the webcam in MSN. I deleted the Camera Assistant software from the boot list and I don't use any but I can use it with Skype whenever I want.

It also works with MSN. Just start the Audio and video installation and in step 3, select Chicony USB 2.0 Camera Cam that you want to use. It works with my MSN.
