Built-in Wi - Fi card connector

My Equium A60-155 came without Wi - Fi but solder tabs are on the main map. Anyone have a connector Mini PCI 124 (connector side) of Type III, or know where I can get one?
I want to solder on the card and install a Wi - Fi card so I can release the slot in the PC.

And what's with Wi - Fi antenna? The laptop is not Wi - Fi ready, and I guess that the WLAN antenna is not there.
To use WIFI on board isn't so easy. Maybe you should continue to use the external solution.

    Hello

    WiFi or LAN connection works?
Well you are sure that your modem or router WLan is configured correctly?
    You should check this first!

If you are 101% sure that this router works and has been configured correctly, then you should check the configuration of the firewall on your laptop.
Check to see if any other software that is installed on your laptop does not have the laptop to connect to the router.

Then the card Wlan and lan card REGULARITY in Device Manager.
Reinstall the driver Wlan and LAN driver if the two cards are not recognized correctly

  • HP Compaq DC7800 SFF - no sound from the HP FX380 Video Card connector

The above machine was working perfectly until I installed a HP FX380 graphics card.

I wanted to improve graphics performance as it was slow when you use Adobe Photoshop and did not support OpenGL. The resolution of my screen (1920 x 1200) also seems to challenge the on-board graphics chip.

I bought a HP NVIDIA Quadro FX380 thought (512 MB) graphics card that using a card in a HP computer HP has been a guarantee of success, but it was not to be!

The FX380 mounting was easy, but there is only one in the DC 7800 PCI-Express slot, so I had to remove the original graphic adapter (a double buffer x 16 Silicon Image AD02-N card). As far as I see it, there is no audio on this map.

When I rebooted the new graphics card was correctly recognized, and I was able to install the video drivers with no problems. Graphics performance has also been greatly improved, while the memory system is out, and I activated the OpenGL support in Photoshop. So far so good!

However, I got an error message saying the SounMax (audio drivers) should be reinstalled, and there is no sound other than the default system beep.

I tried to reinstall the software SoundMax from various sources, including the recovery partition, but I always get the message "that the audio driver files do support not your hardware.

The search in Windows XP Device Manager and selecting sound, video and game controllers, audio only I see are several pilots 'NVIDIA High Definition Audio. There is no yellow asterisk.

I spent several hours online agent HP cat, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. I even have the officer to take control of the machine for a while, but still have no sound! I also updated the BIOS OF THE v 1.28 system.

The obvious answer seems to be that I do not have the correct sound card drivers, but nobody knows what they should be. I don't even know if I have a sound card, not more, or if the NVIDIA card has taken up somehow the system sound card?

Anyone know if there is a problem using the HP FX380 map in the DC 7800 SFF, or am I missing something somewhere?

Would it not possible/useful to adapt to a sound card in the PCI vacnt slot? If so, any reccomendations?

    Any advice welcome.

    Hello:

I can say that your new video card has an HDMI output port because of the new nVidia HD audio, which now takes the place of your integrated audio system. This is why you have no sound (unless you hold on to a TV or something).

In any case, the solution is simple (I hope).  As you know the dc7800 is a professional PC intended for use as a home theater and at the time of its manufacture, that there is no video input with HDMI output are supported in these offices of class business.

I hope that when you installed this new HDMI video card, a new audio BIOS setting appeared in your system configuration in the Advanced menu.

So please go and see if there is an audio setting boarded, that you can change auto to "Enabled". In the affirmative. Press the F10 key there and at the exit of the BIOS, save settings and exit.

That should allow both audio devices to operate independently.  You've got audio when HDMI cable is not plugged into a TV and you have HDMI audio when HDMI cable is connected to a TV.

Please let me know if this is the case.

  • eMachines ET1331-40F built in card reader not working not

    I have windows 7 Home premium 64-bit SP1

Seems that, after the latest updates of weeks MS resembles my 8 in 1 (?) card reader does not work. USB ports before work. I checked the Device Manager and under Universal Serial bus controllers, there is an unknown device with an exclamtion point. I tried to look for new drivers and uninstall and reininstalling but niether of those who worked.

I did add a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse before the adapter, but I don't think that's the problem.

How can I get my built in back online and functional card reader?

Thank you, but it has been my experience that cancellations after windows updates are extremely rare and rarely necessary.

That should only be done in extreme emergency, e.g. PC is locked or you think you have a virus (which a restore may or may not help with that).

My problem has been resolved in a more easy way:

    (1) turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.

    (2) open the PC and look for cord behind built in card reader. Follow it from the motherboard and disconnect. NOTE: Take a close look at the orientation of the connector AND pins. I didn't know that mine has 2 rows of pins and my card only worked in the lower row.

    (3) card reader unplugged, Leaving the power cord PC and market challenges.

    (4) turn off the PC and unplug it.

    (5) card built in reader of card to card mother. The PC power cord and turn on PC

    (6) check device manager > USB bus controllers, you should now have no points of question marks or exclamation points. Check mobile devices. You should see all the respective readers for each built card reader function.

Essentially by unplugging and re plugging the card reader you give windows a chance to lose and re - search for the appropriate driver. For some reason, remove the driver and new driver search did not work for me, but the above steps worked.

I tried to connect a new TV to my 8700 with HDMI and I get this message:

This computer has an add-in graphics card and the monitor cable is plugged into the integrated video connector.

    1. power off the computer
    2. plug the cable from the monitor into the graphics add-in card connector. This may require a video card or the video adapter cable.
    3. turn on the computer

I unplugged from the back of the computer and put it in my drive macbook & blu - ray. Both worked.

  • Tecra 9100 - W-LAN-Mini-PCI-card upgrade

    Hello everyone,

    I ve got a with the W-LAN-onboard Tecra 9100 working doesn´t.
    Instead of repairing the old W - Lan Mini-PCI-card I want to move to a new standard (802. 11 b / g with 108 Mbit/s max) Mini-PCI card.

I prefer the mini Notebook-WLAN-Gigabyte GN-WIAG02 PCI adapter.

Is it possible to chance the card built into the Gigabyte card?

    Hello

It s nice that you want to upgrade your wireless mini-pci network card. But I suggest you rather a card with an Atheros chipset. The best choice is perhaps a card with a Chipset of Atheros 5005GS since I upgraded my Tecra 9100 with this card and it works like charm. (and not so expensive as other s cards)

To swap the card, you must remove the plastic cover of the keyboard and unscrew the two screws in order to release the keyboard.
After removing the keyboard, you will find an aluminum side cover left which is set with a special torx screws. The best would be to get these torx screwdriver to loosen this bolt and remove the cover.
After removal, you will see the map with the cables that lead to the antenna. (One white and one black) Be very CAREFUL when remove the Connector cables, because if damage you one of the cable connectors there is no return since the cables are cables "Mini-coax" and cannot be "connected."

I warn you, just do it if you're really sure and if you know what you're doing, because I won't take any responsibility if damage you something on your machine. Otherwise, I wish good luck and would appreciate some comments on your success.

    See you soon

  • Question about storage SD card

I'm trying to decide between the 4 and 8 GB Sansa Clip +.

I think 8 GB is all I'd need but I already have a microSD card and 4 GB Sansa is cheaper.

I don't know how the SD memory card is handled.

When an SD card is installed is considered a separate folder or is all managed as if it were a storage space during music playback?

Is the internal storage device on the SD card with respect to the use of speed and battery?

When copying music do I need to worry if it does not have internal or SD card, or this is handled automatically?

    Thank you.

The Sansa will read while internal and microSD memory together for the Album, artist, etc.. He built a database - index - in tags, electronic tags in files.

If you put the device in MSC mode, I recommend, it looks like the card slot and the internal memory as two separate if drives you to post the computer. So it's your choice, where the music is going. But no matter the device once it's inside.

I don't know how different internal and microSD are for use of the battery - probably very lttle - but the speed is the same.

Settings system/settings/USB Mode. MSC is a simple way, as have two flash memory drives internal (4 GB or 8 GB) and the map. MTP allows you to do things through Windows Media Player, which makes the camera a virtual device blah blah blah... not worth it unless you use library books in need of PSG to their codes to unlock hidden.

Change Meteorological Service of Canada, rather than auto-detection, or you will probably get Auto shunted by DPW. The idea was to make Windows Media Player/Sansa operate like iTunes/iPod, but it is not as simple as that.  If you think about it, Apple software and hardware control, so iTunes must only work with a relative handful of gadgets. Windows, however, is on all kinds of material with all kinds of oddities, Windows Media Player is something messier trying to cope with them all.

If you are really attached to the old ways, the unit also has a setting (under music) folders allows you to separately observe internal and card slot as if they were separated, but you don't have to.

It IS more complicated to make playlists that bounce between the internal storage and card connector, but it can be done.

I keep all my music on a 32 GB card and zero on in-house. If I were you, I would get the cheaper and do that. Then if the internal memory is never wrong, you can just switch all your music into the next unit by popping the microSD card. I think that you can now even use as card 64 GB if your format it in FAT32.

I just bought a 64 GB SanDisk Ultra for $28 for sale at B & H. These sales continue to flow, memory continues to become less expensive. What you really need is a microSD reader, and the Clip + is good at that.

Get the 4 GB, the value Settings/System Settings/USB Mode MSC, put everything on the map, have fun.

  • Can I replace the WLan on my P750 Pro Satellite card

I bought my P750 to work on our 5 GHz Wireless (802. 11A / n) single frequency network.

Although I learned it would work it does not work. It seems that my hardware does not work on the Strip "a".

My question is maybe replaced card or he is buried in the Pack. If it is built of extermal wireless card can be purchased to do the job?

Just in case you asked that I read the forums, the updated drivers and activated the "n" on the AdHoc profile advanced for my Atheros AR9002WB-1NG

    Hello

The wireless network card is connected to the port on the motherboard miniPCI card and it of possible to remove/put the map.

But there could still be a problems of compatibility between the new device (Wlan-chip) and the BIOS.
I read here in the forum that someone replaced the Wlan card and finally the laptop didn't start because of compatibility issues between the Wlan and the BIOS.

So in your case I recommend to use an external Wlan solution.
The WLAN key is easy to use and should be compatible with most systems.

According to the manual the two slots is normal PC card connectors so that the WLAN card should run in both slots.

But why is it so important that map PC works in both slots?
You have another PC card that you can test in the second slot?
