Burn a DVD from Movie Maker with Windows 8.1
Are there patches of Windows 8 to allow you to burn to a DVD? I used to use this software on Windows 7 and loved all the time! If this is not the case, what is the best tour on how to use it and always burn on a DVD (if any). I don't mind get additional software. If there are several options, what software is the best to use in conjunction with Movie Maker and how to save the file first (including the extension). I do not have to learn a new program once I have mastered it this one! Thank you in advance for your help!

I always did of family films. In recent years I have very happily used Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker. But the old computer is dead and now I had to buy one with Windows 8 (boo, hiss). Breath of this OS. It is difficult to use, source of confusion, screwed up and above everything else, did NOT create DVD. "Burn DVD" is more a choice in Movie Maker. WTF? How can I make a movie without resorting to downloading some programs by night, that I do not trust.
Yes, well, I did. I did some research and looked at DVD Styler, Nero, VLC, and DVD Shrink. Nothing works. Regarding the DVD Styler, it didn't he download something called 7Zip who then simply sits on the desk until I open it, after which he there just some more showing me a menu that said things like 'computer', 'C' drive and drive "D". I am not techie enough to understand this. I was perfectly happy with the creation of DVD and the choice of "burn a DVD" on Movie Maker. I wish the technies who write such things would realize that most of us did not give a * on the stupid tiles and apps and want just a system that does what we want. As to burn the DVD. sigh.
You then download DVD Styler. Read the web page and click on in the appropriate places. ;-) This is not a technical problem - it is a "slow down and read more carefully ' a.

I created a movie after the import of videos and images, first after their conversion to Quicktime version to a version that would play in Windows. I made the movie and it plays well in Movie Maker and starts ok when I burn to disc, but happens about 60% each time and then just says it cannot create disc because of an unspecified error. So, I don't know what I have to do? Any help? Thank you.

Using Windows Live Movie Maker with Windows 7. Lack of good features.
I'm angry. I am trying to set up a family video Christmas and notice the limited amount of manipulation that has Windows Live Movie Maker. I think remember me the XP version allowing the video to be accelerated or slowed down. I tried to change it on my old computer, XP version cannot open. MOV files, so I downloaded a video converter, now I get an error message indicating that the codec is missing. I just want to be able to slow down the video to add it to my Windows Live Movie Maker film made by oneself. Can someone please help? If Microsoft have Add ons, any recommendations of good software are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Stacey

M30X MultiDrive won't burn a DVD from Windows Movie Maker
Hello
My MultiDrive M30x will not burn the DVD from Windows Movie Maker and other applications.
I also had problems with burning CDs (unbranded) of Windows XP, built in utility.
The multidrive has problems with cheaper brand discs?
Just to note,
The laptop was to support guys three times until various issues.
(1) the hard drive failed.
(2) the multidrive has failed.
(3) the motherboard replaced, due to power outages, it would not charge the battery, or recognize that the AC adapter is plugged.Note: The hard drive, not the fan made the most noise in mine!
Thank you
Hello
As far as I know (i.e. pre-installed burning software Save now, drag-and - drop) disabled the option of Windows XP burning. In this case if you want to use the Movie Maker or Windows media player burning option, you need to activate this possibility.
Please, go to the properties of the drivers (right click). Please select the recording tab. CD recording option on this drive must be marked.
I use the software Nero burning and in my opinion he of one of the best burning programs. In addition, you should try different manufacturers CD/DVD because some CD and DVD is not compatible with some readers. Check the TDK CD and DVD. I never had no problem with these media.Best regards
