  I'm new in Oracle ADF. I use the JDeveloper version 11.1.2.1.
  
  For the purpose of learning, I create a custom listener phase, here are the codes.
  Problem is when I ran to the window of console page not print anything on the phases.

  Not only that when I clicked on the tab overview of the ADF - settings.xml is show only the Controller Configuration icon show as a model, business, MDS, controller components and see nothing else.
  
  When I run the console window of the page doesn't print anything on the phases.
  Please suggest me what's not here and that things are missing.

  What is the path to your adf file - settings.xml? It should be under /.adf/META-INF

  I installed the oracle database succesfulyy and after that I have installed UCR and it has installed successfully, now I want to know whence patterns resident in the oracle database, and how to display the patterns with out installing the obiee?

• Configuration MDS MDS ISL and behavior

  I've been Googling for days and really learn anywhere with this, so I hope someone here has some knowledge that I can draw!

  The situation:

  We have a new SAN and MDS (9148) installed and just about to start the migration of servers to virtual or physical machines to him.

  One needs to get a copy of SAN of the old SAN block data to the new San to allow the migration of some machines. Once this is done, these physical machines will then be repatched the new MDS and zoned accordingly.

  We can not connect the old SAN for the new MDS (for several reasons), and can connect the new SAN for the old MDS (for several reasons).

  It is a 24/7 business. Downtime has been negotiated on a basis to derisk the migration and application, it will be held over a period of 8 weeks.

  My conclusion is that we need an ISL between the MDS. I found a few guides on Google and YouTube for this but miss me something because is not quite make sense yet.

  My questions:

  • Is setting the mode of the interface to 'E' on each side enough to connect an ISL? Or other measures are necessary?
  • I saw something saying the ISL that VSAN (s) are allowed on the ISL - but do not see how to do it. Clues would be appreciated! FYI, MDS1 old and new MDS1 both have a single VSAN (10), and MDS2 both old and new MDS2 have a single VSAN (20). There is no inter VSAN routing.
  • I saw the reference to "behavior of fusion Zone. Can anyone confirm that this is please? The old MDS have their sets of areas that are suitable for devices connected to them. The new MDS have their sets of areas for the devices they are connected. Creation of an ISL will cause to merge into a single set of areas? If so, is that what I should wait no downtime?
  • Finally, everything would change if the "old MDS" were actually Nexus 5K (-5548UP which is what is on the site of DR)?

  I'm happy if you tell me the CLI or VIEW-based methods. I should add here that I can do the "basics" (alias, zoning, zonesets, etc.) in MDS, but this isn't something I've met before. There is no devices MDS test to test with, and at this point I am writing at the request of modification rather trying to run on the fly.

  I've attached a ' great plan' in case this is useful!

  If you connect two MDS all ports that are AUTO (default) mode, and then they connect as an ISL.   Setting the mode of E is a good idea too.

  By default, if trunk mode is enabled, then all the vsan configured which is on both switches will be trunked. If there are only 10 of the VSAN on the switches, it will be to resources shared, providing that there is no failure of the merger.  FCDOMAINs must be unique on each switch by VSAN.

  Look at this reference, it has information:

  Behavior of fusion zone when two MDS switches have names different set of active areas are connected

  In addition, you can use DCNM to a Zone merge analysis before doing this.

  I use Jdev 12.1.3 and I try to use BC AM Tester after properly configuring my request to use the MDS, but I get this exception:

  SEVERE: MDS Configuration Exception encountered in parse ADF ConfigurationMDS-00035: cannot load the class: com.xxx.yyy.view.mds.MyUserCC.
  oracle.mds.config.MDSConfigurationException: MDS-00035: cannot load the class: com.xxx.yyy.view.mds.MyUserCC.

  Your deployment process? Oracle business process editor only lets you change the business rules, the approval rules and the DVM at run time: customization and extension of the BPMN - 11 g Release 1 (11.1.3) process "7.1.2 what you can do with BPMN process during execution.

  If you need to update your model you can upload your project of JDev to MDS.

  I have thought to create application policies RPD_developer, create rpd_developer roles (one for each business model) and filter their access rights.

  Not at the moment a binary RPD. The 'Permission' concern mark resp. restrictions. the read/write access on the presentation as well as the physical layer layer - but those who are related to the analytical use through answers / SmartView etc. and RPD will not work.

  In theory, you could do it in an RPD which is divided into pieces MDS XML and then assign subsets some developers. I say in theory because you would have to if ensure no reusable entity and object exist always... which basically will never be the case unless you are ok with the duplication of objects to get around this fact.

  Hi friends,

  Step 1) connection to the Console-> services-> datasources-> click on any data source.

  go to connection tab set the password list that you defined for the BIPLATFORM scheme.

  Do this for all of the datasources that point to the MDS and the BIPLATOFRM schema.

  Step 2) Business Intelligence > Core Application > deployment > Planner

  Enter the DSN, username and password.

  Step 3) restart BI Services.

• Update business dynamically in SOA project rules

  I created the SOA project and the business rules and human and deployed task and his good work.
  But I have an obligation to update business rules dynamically, without importing the project in for jdeveloper. I want to update the rules of trade to this SOA project without deploying the application again. I read that we can do through MDS, right. But will a pls tell me the process how to change dynamically business rules without compilation and deployment new code.

  We use JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 to create our application. We are using MDS to store customizations on the reorganization and the expansion/outsourcing columns dashboard panels. I just read the white paper Oracle OTN (building Oracle ADF Business customizable Applications with Oracle Metadata Services (MDS) June 2010) that indicates that we could improve our data entry screens to allow users to reorder items in field on the data entry form? Our use case would be:
  
  * Users can be configured as "simple" or "Advanced".
  * Simple users benefit from a standard layout
  * Users are allowed to customize their own forms in making use of drag and drop (it would amend each components of forms to be a drag source and target)
  
  SDM would work for this scenario? Has anyone seen a sample application demonstrating the concepts above?

• Curious about operating a business on Mac Mini

  I want to start a debate (I hope a good).

  

  I am a serial entrepreneur but my goal set on IT Support for the past two years. I used a combination of devices on this time, but more recently, an Early 2011 MacBook Pro 15 "(mis à jour depuis 4Go RAM/500Go HD 16 Go RAM/1 to Solid State hybride)." This computer went down on me a few months before, so I'm using (until I can afford to replace) using my iPhone 6 more (64 GB) and my iPad 3 (32 GB) to run my business.

  My question and I want to see the experience of you guys, that's what it would look like to continue to use my iPhone/iPad for the mobile aspect of my business (travel to customers) and use a Mac Mini for any research, diagnostic, etc., purposes of marketing/design? I have said (and this asked in another post) that I could swap my MacBook Pro HD/RAM out and put it in the Mini. I have been corrected later about the RAM, which is very good to buy more RAM.
