  • Flatten or lock a pdf form to be completed when the user presses the button "submit"

Hello.  I have searched all over the net trying to figure this out.  I have a form that I created in LiveCycle and as I inserted a "REGULAR" button, with the following script:

Create a variable to hold the document object

    var

    oDoc = event.target;

    oDoc.mailDoc({)

    bUI

    : true,

    cTo

    : "[email protected] " ",

    bassujetti

    : "New procedure - operator ' + TextField1.rawValue + "-ID" + TextField2.rawValue

    CSMG

    : "Attached is the form of the new procedure for the operator" + TextField1.rawValue + "-ID" + TextField2.rawValue + "." ,

    });

This script is sending an e-mail to "[email protected]" and fill in the subject line and the body of the message with text and some elements of the fields in the PDF file.

I want to have the locked PDF or flattened when the user clicks on the button submit, to ensure that the information in the PDF file is not modified once they submit.  I can't find any way to do this easily.  I found a script that will flatten the message (below), but I don't know how to add it to the email script that I pointed out above.  I don't want to add a second button to the form that I want to keep it as simple as possible for the user.

Any suggestions that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Your UserAgent string in Firefox is totally messed up by another program that you have installed and Barclays does not know you use Firefox 3.6.6 - it is probably similar to IE 6.0 on this site.

  • No button submit Podcast in iTunes

    Hello people,

I decided to start putting my content on iTunes and set up a hosting site, RSS etc and checked the power supply.  I tested my stream and can see the episode of my channel and pilot on iTunes, I then tried to submit the podcast, but was greeted with an error message.  I then had some connection problems (not itunes associated) and when I'm in line to try to submit the podcast once again, the "link/button submit Podcast has disappeared, and I now have the usual buttons/links on the right side and Podcast resource, but no Podcast submit!"

I tried to contact support, they say it's a question of podcast, for having sent the podcast support team.  No one knows why or how the button submit my podcast would disappear?

Thanks in advance for any help/explanation offered

The process of presentation of podcasts has obviously changed. The old links will take you to the iTunes Store, but that then (with a link) refer to podcastsconnect.apple.com. Unfortunately this does not work - in the error message when you use FireFox, it's most likely a problem with the security certificate. It has been reported to support (by Rob Walch of Libsyn at my request) so hopefully they will do a sort. Give a little and try again.

  • I made a form for my clients, I did this form with a button "submit" button, the button will save the form and send it, I did the URL to go to a different (different to mine) e-mail address but when I distribute the form and it is complete

I made a form for my clients, I did this form with a button "submit" button, the button Save the form and send it, I did the URL to go to a different (different to mine) e-mail address but when I distribute the form and it is supplemented by my clients it send to my email address not the URL how to change this.

No matter how you have configured the Send button when you use the feature distribute the form. There are some e-mail address is in your identity preferences (Edit > preferences > identity) and use it. If you can change the email address it or not to use distribute the form and the button send the value you want.

One thing that happens when you use the feature to distribute the form is the form is enabled Reader, you can do separately, but you really shouldn't do if the form must be used by others. The dispenser a form must activate using their copy under license of Acrobat Reader.

OK, I re-read your question. It's actually expected behavior. The user must manually send the email.

If you want it to be a silent process, then you must either install a script on the local computer of the user who will do this, or use any email but something as a service web to which you directly submit the form data.

  • Form button submit contact does not display correctly

When you use Adobe Muse in fashion design all on my contact form looks like a lot, but when I download the site or preview the page in my browser, the submit button is not displayed correctly.

The police is a bit fuzzy and unclear and effects like opacity on the submit button just display a solid color rather than adding opacity.

The rest of the form uses the same font and also tried different web fonts without success, so don't know why, it's just the Send button!

I use the latest version of Muse on a Mac

    Hi Simon,.

Please see: button "submit" is blurred in preview mode before and after validation

  • Is it possible to set actions on the button "submit" a Quiz question?

Is it possible to set actions on the button "submit" a Quiz question? I want to advance to the next slide or continue when they get the question right, or come at the end of the tent, they are allowed. I would like to eliminate the Next continue/button. Why does take two actions to come out of the slide? I use 8 Captivate.

Not possible, or you you screw up the functionality of the quiz slide. Submit button is the most important object of each slide of the default questionnaire.

I suspect that you are not on 9 Captivate but on an earlier version? Perhaps reading this article:

Question Question slides in Captivate - Captivate blog

You don't need the next to all button if you do not allow the review. If you allow the review, you cannot uncheck, because otherwise the user will be pasted on slides during the review. You can drag the next button under the light of the button (see article). The Send button will trigger actions Success/Last attempt, that you can use to your advantage.

If you want to limit the submission of a single click process, you will find a scenario in the same article

  • Tip action to show only a previous button on a slide so the learner clicked on the button Submit on Drag and Drop

I am a user of long date Captivate and have dabbled with advanced Actions and Variables, so know just enough to get me in trouble. Hoping someone can help me with what I hope is a simple tip action:

I am currently using CP8 and created a training where learners click on a map of building to go to different "rooms" to complete an interaction drag-and - déposer a certain topic related HR. The problem is that some of my learners test forget what 'rooms' they have already read and will click on those they have already visited. I added a back button, so that they can return to the map if they made a mistake, but now they are able to leave the slide without completing the interaction drag and drop.

Basically, I need to hide the back button unless the learner has already completed (for example, the user clicks on the button submit to) the Drag and Drop interaction, but I'm not sure how to set up. Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

Hide the button back to begin with. A tip action can be triggered by an event the success and failure of the & slipped. I guess that you will need at least two commands:

    • View the "back" button
    • Go to the next slide.

It seems the simplest solution. You can also ignore the slide D & D when they enter a second time, but then you will need a Boolean variable to be turned on/off by these same events and a conditional action on which checks this variable and immediately jumps to the next slide when it is set to 1.

  • When I create a button "submit" text "Submit" does not appear on the actual button.

When I create a button "submit" text "Submit" does not appear on the actual button. Anyone know what is the problem?

Depends on how you file the form. In Acrobat, it has a property to set the appearance of the button. In AA 8, field properties appear as below:

It may vary in other versions (I on other machines), but the basic idea is the same. Need to add the label.

  • CP 8.01 - hide button submit upon return to the Quiz slide

    Hello

After answering a quiz and return to the slide even afterwards, the Send button is always present but disabled. I want her to be removed/hidden completely since IMO, I don't think that you must display it once you have answered the question. Is there a way to do this?

    David

Captivate provides no way to do this. You cannot hide the button submit another object either.

  • Validation problem Spry with button "submit"

    Hello

I'm new to Spry but I encounter a problem, do work at all.  I created a very simple form (table with text Spry field and submit button).  I have read many articles and visited several forums, but I can't seem to find the problem I encounter.  Basically, when I go to preview the page in a browser, the table with the field button and submit the spy text just fine, but when I hit the button send, I see the page refresh and the values that I had in the text box disappear, but nothing ever comes by saying "a value is required. which is what I'm looking for. This happens even if I have not all values in the text field.  Here are the images of what I describe and also the code.  I checked the 'Required' box is checked in the SpryTextField and the action of the submit button is selected for "Submit form."  My setup is Windows 7, DW6 & XAMPP.  You can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do yourself a big favor and don't waste time with Spry Validation.  Most modern browsers support HTML5 forms with the required attribute.

If you need calm older browsers, use jQuery script validate.  It is lightweight and works when the HTML5 support is missing.  You can see an example below. If you press on submit with empty form fields, required fields in pop - up with messages.  View source in the browser to see the code.

  • How to get the value of row current table when press the button submit

    Hello

I want to get the current value of the SuccessionPlanId line which is part of the column in a table that is advanced.

I created a (created using customization, from action through CO) button in the table as column, so each line with a single key, if I press the button of the first line means so I want to extract the first line SuccessionPlanId and if it's the 3rd way so I want to get the value of the value of the third row.

How in the post of controller?

    Please answer soon, its urgency.

    Thanks in advance,
    SAN

OK, need to go with a delicate way,

1.) create a new table with Jdeveloper and there shud be a replica of the room once except the button submit newly added, pls note button type shud be present the type of button.

2.) hide the existing table area and create a new stacklayoutbean.

(3.) this stacklayout bean will have the property to extend, you give the full path of the new custom of advanced table box.

Now you should be able to get the reference of the line during the click on the "submit" button
