  Hide the button back to begin with. A tip action can be triggered by an event the success and failure of the & slipped. I guess that you will need at least two commands:

  • View the "back" button
  • Go to the next slide.

  It seems the simplest solution. You can also ignore the slide D & D when they enter a second time, but then you will need a Boolean variable to be turned on/off by these same events and a conditional action on which checks this variable and immediately jumps to the next slide when it is set to 1.

  I also want to put a classic transparent ('Return') button on the page that allows them to click and jump to the slide #5 if they want to get out of the jam on the content before everything has played and they are automatically skipped to slide #5.

  Problem is that the action of the button seems to be usurping the Jump out to the action of the kind #5 slide when slide reading over it crashes just instead of jump to the slide #5 - he's waiting for a click of the button. I tried to use a button widget instead of conventional, but the widget does not load #5 the top slide, so table of buttons (that display correctly when the slide is first played) recharge.

  Lilybiri, you gave me the answer - indirectly.

  Use click box instead of the transparent button. Click on give box you a command "pause project until user clicks on. If you disable this function, the button is not incompatible with the action on the exit of the slide.

  As far as the widget on the slide table 5 buttons are concerned, I think the fact that they don't reload when you return, there is probably an artifact of the code of the key. Or something. 'Undocumented feature' ;-)

  I have a captivate file in which there is a slide thank you at the end after than the Quiz results slide. Now, here's the problem - the user is just to finish the quiz and the closure of the browser tab - which does not appear inside the LMS completion status. The user must need to display the slide thank you - so that CMS can answer that the status of "completed."

  Now I want to remove the button continue on quiz results slide so that doesnot users to go forward to the next slide to complete the course. And I'll put here the thank you message in single result of the quiz slide.

  Remove the button continue results Quiz slide is NOT a good idea in my experience.  By clicking the button triggers features continue in Captivate to complete the quiz and post the score to the LMS.  If this button is not checked, Captivate maybe isn't sure that the person has decided that they are finished with the quiz and wants their score to be captured by the LMS at that time here.  There are often other buttons on the Quiz results slide to offer the user the possibility of recovery or to review the Quiz.  Only the continue button is designed to take them further beyond the Quiz results slide.

  Like you, I also found learners often fail to grasp the importance of the button continue and do not realize that they must do something extra (beyond to reach the Quiz results slide) so that their score to capture.  So what I usually do is to rename the button continue for something more meaningful like: save your Score, or record Quiz results now.  Have a name like that (and make nice and big button and "BOLD" so that it is not easy to Miss) clearly says to people that they need to click if they want to keep their score.  It's just a simple change, but it has virtually eliminated all the questions we had with people just close their browser when they saw the results of the Quiz.

  OK, need to go with a delicate way,

  1.) create a new table with Jdeveloper and there shud be a replica of the room once except the button submit newly added, pls note button type shud be present the type of button.

  2.) hide the existing table area and create a new stacklayoutbean.

  (3.) this stacklayout bean will have the property to extend, you give the full path of the new custom of advanced table box.

  Now you should be able to get the reference of the line during the click on the "submit" button

  Hello.  I have searched all over the net trying to figure this out.  I have a form that I created in LiveCycle and as I inserted a "REGULAR" button, with the following script:

  This script is sending an e-mail to "[email protected]" and fill in the subject line and the body of the message with text and some elements of the fields in the PDF file.

  I want to have the locked PDF or flattened when the user clicks on the button submit, to ensure that the information in the PDF file is not modified once they submit.  I can't find any way to do this easily.  I found a script that will flatten the message (below), but I don't know how to add it to the email script that I pointed out above.  I don't want to add a second button to the form that I want to keep it as simple as possible for the user.

  From a few weeks ago (I believe that when 3.6.16 is released), I lost the ability to return to the first Web site loaded on any tab by using the previous button or right click-> menu back.
