  I'm trying to understand a script that would affect the current text field, I am without knowing the name of the field (this.getField) I want to change the properties of any text field, I'm currently typing in (color of text, etc.), this script is placed to a button on the document and when you press on would only affect that I am currently in the text field.

  Did a quick test of this and realized the mouse input is still needed (as well as a 3rd variable) in order to determine if the field was active when the button is pressed and keep their domain name. Changes below:

• Since the upgrade to 29. Firefox snags with a beachball that goes for seconds. How can I stop the problem?

  There are two updates very close together. I upgraded and now have 29,0. No matter if I'm going to an address, typing in an area, or waiting for a website to load, the "beach ball" Mac will turn for a few seconds before loading. I use the default theme. I have a minimum - (Xmarks and Trend micro), which have not been a problem before. Is there anything I can do besides turn off Add-ons?

  I have the impression that its XMarks which is the cause... But the Trend Micro toolbar isn't right in my head. You can disable XMarks first, then if it's sunny, then Trend Micro is the problem and vice versa.

• My PC "think that" there a second monitor which is the main (but it isn't), how to undo that?

  I managed to set my main screen for a second non-existent monitor.  When I start my PC, the "secondary" monitor is the external monitor only connected to the PC, but the main office is LEFT more non-existent "primary" monitor (all my icons and the start menu are there as well - but I can't get to one of them).  If I right click on desktop to the secondary monitor (the monitor physical only), I can click on 'settings', but I only get the hourglass, which disappears after a few moments.  I presume that the video display settings applet opens on the primary monitor does not exist, but I can't seem to him.  I spent some time trying to 'capture' and move, but it's just frustrating and useless unfortunately.  Now...  I start in safe mode and go into the video settings, but there is no option for a second monitor. So, I have an amendment to the resolution of the screen available only in the hope that will force a change when I reboot, save and restart right of Windows XP.  When starting, the main office is always on the wrong monitor.  I've been asking questions already ;-)

  1. can I plug a second monitor? I can't because there is no other VGA connector on the machine, but there is a header on the System Board - however, it is disabled in the BIOS...
  2. don't reset the BIOS?  I did, I have reset several times, and there is no effect.
  3. do I tried another monitor to rule out the possibility of H/W failure any?  I have and get the same results.

  Is there a way to simply put the display back set to 'normal '?  Unfortunately, without a solution for this, the machine useless.  I'm puzzled.

• How to prevent my audio glitching 'that' every 3 seconds?

  I have a custom PC running Windows 7. Every 3 seconds, the audio quickly pips or jumps to the top. This occurs when listeing to any audio source such as playing music with Winamp, Windows Media Player and VLC. This happens also with video files I play and sometimes even if I play something on Youtube or Facebook. This makes me think that this is not a specific program causing this problem. I disabled all the audio improvements and and tried to update the audio drivers (who apparently all are currently being updated.) I DFX Audio Enhancer installed, but I still have a problem with this option is disabled. I also installed on my laptop and I have not experienced problems. How can I solve this problem? If someone needs no specific information, ask me and I will provide. Thank you!

• First 10 items does not work with the latest NVIDIA drivers, and adobe and NVIDIA will not solve the problem, why should I pay a fee to upgrade to the latest elements when you fix it, and I find myself with old drivers that affect the game?

  I have the question well documented with newer NVIDIA drivers impacting on the preview of the videos in the first 10 elements. Download driver of 5/2013 has solved the problem, however, there whims... which I do not think that I would have to pay for an upgrade of the elements to get rid of the question with my video card. What can we do about it? $89 for your problem is not something that I like...

  This is a user to user forum, so I'm not sure how to answer your question.

  Problems with the version 10 and nVidia drivers began about a year or two ago - when version 10 was already on two years and two generations of old. So I'm not sure that adobe is going to offer a fix for an old version of the program. Particularly when the nVidia drivers seem to be originally.

  Certainly, you can contact Adobe Customer Service and see if they go on you some sort of agreement on another version of the program. Or you can take a copy of old or second-hand version 11, 12 or 13 on Amazon or eBay for pretty cheap.

  I heard about people who work around this problem by loading a previous version of a driver from nVidia. But those who seem to be options. The least likely scenario is that Adobe will award a fix for a four-year program.

  If I have a text layer in the composition, and on top of this layer of text I camera layer related to the null object layer, it works very well. I can change the position of the text layer by manipulating this null object layer that is a parent of a camera layer.

• PSE7 beginner - cropping in layers that affect all layers.

  I'll have several questions about this project, which is to select several photos in the Organizer, move them to the editor, crop and resize photos and lay them on a page, and then add text to create a page in a photo album.  I don't want to use the Photo Album offered by Adobe, I want to learn by myself.  (In fact there is project of my wife and I am showing him how do - and as usual, she asks more questions, I have answers for).

  I didn't get all the answers to my previous post, ask for advice on the pictures moving from the Organizer to the editor, and one I was hoping that someone would have the idea me on what I was doing - as if I was doing right or wrong - and perhaps that would have an effect on my next question.

  That is, when you set up diapers for my photo album page, when I crop a photo on one of the layers, it reduces all the layers to the size of the cropped image - and I lose so to speak.

  I am doing something wrong or it is not possible to crop on a layer without affecting the whole image.  Should I be handling this another way, as all of my cropping before you create the layer or y at - it any secret that I have not yet discovered.

  Cropping, by definition, means the reduction of the size of the image, so you don't want to crop. Select the area of the layer you want to keep, and then select > Inverse > BACKSPACE to delete the content of this layer only.

  If they do not follow all the links or software as a result of these messages, so there is no risk for them.

  As for you, if you can still access your mailbox, log in using a web browser, change your password, update the security features, and you should be sure again.

  If your mailbox provider allows it, be sure to enable always 'use HTTPS.  That can go a long way towards ensuring you don't get hacked again.

• Windows Update that affect Internet for Vista Home Premium and Windows 7 connectivity

  Hi, I have two machines in one desktop running Vista Home Premium and a laptop running under windows 7.

  After you apply the Windows updates a few days ago, I was not able to get internet connectivity using my Vista desktop computer.

  I was able to get a wireless on the Windows 7 machine, but to test the router I disabled wireless and tried a wired connection and it did not work.

  If I restore the installation of updates on both machines before the problem no longer exists, but it is clearly not a solution.

  Can someone please help, note that I have established that the router works and all the cables are OK. Thank you.
