Button to bring up the text panel

I am currently a help guide that will be an iPad via indesign CC application.

I have a large image with 3 question marks on top. I would like it so when you click on a help box appears with the text inside with the possibility to close later.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Simply create an MSO (Multi-State-Object) with four images.  A single image with no response and three with the answer for each.  Put a button (move) on the three answers who goes to a State (excluding State.).  Who help me?

    I would like to bring to the text from Word (and the web) which is already a hypertext link in InDesign. How can I do it while keeping the links active?

    Whenever I have to copy and paste from the web or Word it removes hyperlinks.  And when I try to do in 'Place' ing a Word document in my InDesign project that it retains formatting with it, the rectangles around the text.

    I have the latest version of InDesign.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Copy-paste might not include the shaped. A regular import using square is the best way.

    The rectangles around the hyperlinks are just to indicate that they are links - they do not print, but they appear in your PDF.

    You can delete them by double clicking on the hyperlink in the hyperlinks Panel and select "Rectangle Invisible" as the type.

    In general, Word formatting of hyperlinks - blue text, underline - with a character Style. If you want to remove or change the formatting, all you have to do is to change the character style. My experience, however, is that you need to check all the hyperlinks because no reason apparent, sometimes they appear in the document without the character style.

  • Need help for the button to trigger on the text caption effect

    Hello world

    I work in

    on a Mac (chart below)

    Screen Shot 2016-04-13 at 12.53.04 PM.png

    I'm very new to Captivate (only my second week), but am familiar in other Adobe programs. I'm trying to get a dynamic object that I made in a button to trigger an effect on a text caption. I scrolled the forums here and tried various things of the advanced actions for just using the drop down menus in the property inspector and nothing that I tried gives me the result I want.

    Here is a screenshot of what I'm working with.

    Screen Shot 2016-04-13 at 12.54.37 PM.png

    What I want to do is for the arrows for the buttons (and they are currently). When the slide appears first I don't want that image and the arrows visible. So when the user clicks on the arrow, I want the effect I chose (spiral) that will be triggered with the corresponding text.

    Looks like my property for each caption Inspector (the names are different for each)

    Screen Shot 2016-04-13 at 12.58.03 PM.png

    And I also tried to write a few advanced Actions that follow as well as tutorials that I found online, and nothing gives me what I want.

    When I preview the slide I can see everything on entry and then when I click the button to apply the effect. I rechecked the advanced actions and usually when I try these nothing happens at all.

    Is - it there anyway that I can get that works this way, I'm wanting. It seems that it should be simple and I'm right on it.

    The shape of buttons are all pause at this moment, it's OK.

    I just tried it out and see what you mean. The text is there from the beginning, and that shouldn't be the case. you expect it not to appear when the button is clicked. I have never used this spiral effect myself, but since you have no control over it, I mean you can't see where starts the effect at all, there is no visible path you have with the other effects of the entry. Either, you need to create a custom, effect whose path begins with text outside the scene, or a combination of an Alpha to + a standard entrance effect.

    Tried the first one with a simple left to a straight path. I edited the paths so that they all start at the same position horizontal and end at the same horizontal position. So happy with the leaders and Guides that we finally got in Captivate, they are very useful for this type of design:

    It's the chronology:

  • When using the 'tools', 'Interactive objects', 'Add a button', how to make the text for the button name is displayed? I have tried everything and only the background, or lacxk, appears.

    I created a pdf document using Adobe Acrobat XI base and want to put a link on each page, return to the table of contents. However, the tool "Add a link" I cannot place this link on each page at a time. Accordingly, I used the tool 'Add a button' interactive Actions that allows me to do what I want. However, when I enter the name of the button, add background color (or not) and register, the name of the text for the button does not show, only the background appears (or nothing if I select no background). The button works, it just is not labeled. Any help will be appreciated.

    This is the area of the label, under Properties - Options.

  • Cannot bring up the CSS panel

    Hello

    I'm trying to make it appear the CSS panel so that I can change the properties of a css doc. However, I can only open a file in code view. I don't have an external CSS editor configured. Any idea on how to show the control panel?

    Thank you

    But... ah ha! If I select the 'current', instead of 'all' button then I can edit with the Panel. Solved.

  • Need help with the alignment of the text

    I don't know the answer to this question is simple, especially since I have no chance of finding the same question asked previously.  I want middle align text so that it is centered between the top and bottom of the box / text field created using the "text" tool  Frame on the left is simple: I just click on the button "align left" on the text panel.  There is no button to the top, in the Middle, or align at bottom.  In fact, when I'm done with this question, I'll go ahead and present it as a new idea!

    I also need to do the same with the text I add the vertical menu widget (menu manual buttons)... If there is a big difference in the way in which this is done, please let me know.

    Here is an example of what I'm willing to do.  Yes - the bottom image is a composite, then please ignore the spaces at the beginning of the text.  I also wanted to "align middle" instead of "align center".

    Text_Alignment.jpg

    Thank you!

    If you want to center align text vertically, use top padding spacing Panel and change the desired number of pixel values (depending on the size of the text block).

    Also, you can use whole pixel values absolute for all major (i.e. 16 px) values rather than the values of percentage (120%) that are managed differently in different browsers.

    Here's a screenshot of the sample with settings that worked for me in my case where the text appears to be centered in all major browsers.

    You can also watch follows her thread that should answer most of your vertical alignment related research.

  • Smartphones blackBerry BBM 5, "back" button is no longer deletes the text

    Since the upgrade to BBM 5.0.1.38 (and same 5.0.1.41) I can no longer use the back button to clear all the text I wrote.

    Everyone knows this? I checked the options, I don't see any way to activate this feature back =. (

    Yep, there is not a way to allow that. It works as expected - at least for now.

    Try Shift + delete, instead.

  • Get the text of a button when it is read as a node. VBox loop

    I learn JavaFX, and it's just a small matter of programming.

    I have 3 buttons in a VBox. And I want to apply the same 3 effects on all of the buttons after I put them in the Vbox. But when I use a loop and getChildren() on the VBox, they are returned as "nodes". I can't use Button.getText () to find the text of the button.

    Is there a way I can getText to a node? Or maybe convert the current node to a button and get the text in this way?

    VBox, vbox = new VBox();

    Option 1 button = new Button ("first button");

    Option 2 button = new Button ("Second button");
    Option3 button = new Button ("display rules");

    vbox.getChildren () .add (option1);
    vbox.getChildren () .add (option2);
    vbox.getChildren () .add (option3);

    for (button end node: vbox.getChildren ())
    {
    button.setOnMouseEntered (new EventHandler < MouseEvent >)
    {
    @Override
    public void handle (MouseEvent arg0)
    {
    button.setEffect (addEffect (Color.web("#53CFA6"),.8, 10));
    }
    });
    button.setOnMouseExited (new EventHandler < MouseEvent >)
    {
    @Override
    public void handle (MouseEvent arg0)
    {
    button.setEffect (addEffect (Color.web ("#FF6800"),.8, 10));
    }
    });

    button.setOnMouseClicked (new EventHandler < MouseEvent >)
    {
    @Override
    public void handle (MouseEvent arg0)
    {
    button.setEffect (addEffect (Color.web ("#E62800"),.8, 10));

    To do button.getText)
    Button; button.getText (work)

    }
    });
    }

    Hello user,.

    You must have formatted your code correctly. See the forum guides for formatting codes.

    To get the instance of the button, you need to do it safely
    There are two ways to get the instance of the Button.

    for (final Node button : vbox.getChildren()){
         Button b = null;
         if(button instanceof Button){
              b = button;
         }

         if(b != null){
              //Do your stuffs here
         }
    }

    Or you can even do like that too

    for (final Node button : vbox.getChildren()){

         Button b =null;
         try{
              b = (Button) button; //casting the class
         }
         catch(ClassCastException e){
              e.printStackTrace();
         }

         if(b != null){
              //Do your stuffs here
         }
    }

    Thank you

  • buttons radio and the presence of the text field

    New on LC and JavaScript and tries to show/hide a text field on radio button (outside the Group), select by using the presence property. Two buttons in the exclusion group (I'll call them 1 and 2), by default the text field presence should be hidden (not displayed and not take place on the layout).  I have set the default value for the '2' radio button group and want the text field to display (and have the focus, but I got this little) when the value changes to '1' to the click, then disable and hide again if you click on '2 '.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    You can use this script to the click event of the exclusion group:

    Form1. #subform [0]. RBL::click - (JavaScript, client)

    If (this.rawValue is '1')
    {
    TextField1.presence = "visible";
    }
    on the other
    {
    TextField1.presence = 'hidden ';
    }

    Who should do it, because rb1 has value 1, and rb2 has a value of 2. RBL is exclusion group.

  • Change the text of the button skin RH7

    Hello! I use HR HTML 7.0.

    I am creating bilingual online help (English and French) and wonder how I can change the text of the navigation buttons (contents, search, etc.) in the skin. All I could do is add text next to the buttons but not change the names of the buttons themselves.

    Are the images of buttons that need to be changed?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

    As you can see, the skin allows a combination of text and images for the buttons. Indeed, many skins than the text that is part of the button image. In this case, you must use an image editor or creator of buttons utility to change the text that is part of the button image.

    See you soon... Rick

  • How can I improve the resolution of the text in the interactions?

    By making the interaction in publications, I noticed that the resolution of the text is less. I want to know how to solve this problem.

    What are the interactive elements? If you scroll image make sure to set your folio version v24 or later, the article in PDF format and the value of the render method (in the overlay Panel) to the vector.

    If you use buttons, you should not put the text in buttons. Instead let the text as text only and draw a transparent top button.

  • How to center the text in a menu widget?

    When I create a menu widget and I have the label, the text is centered horizontally but not vertically. I tried to use the settings in the text window, but it doesn't change the dimension of the box, where the text is in relation to the inside of the box. In other words, I want the text entered in the middle of the box (horizontally and vertically). Thank you.

    You can use the fields in the margin to set the exact position you want to place the text of the menu in the box, this option is available in the text panel.

    Thank you

  • where is the text direction please?

    Hello...

    Please, how can I find text direction in Adobe Muse for the Arabic language even as illustrator & indesign because text showing the opposite side... I have attached some pictures for the icon.Untitled-1.jpg

    If you set the language of the Site or Page in a language from right to left, and then create a text frame, the control of direction of text appears in the text panel.

  • rotate the Accordion Panel

    Hi, I'm new to Muse, I wish I could rotate the accordion panel so that the content opens from the bottom up. I turned the content in the Panel and it extends from the bottom up and reads the correct way around, however the header/title to label that informs me of what is in the Panel is backwards.

    There is no way to rotate the labels, but you can play tricks similar to what did you with the content to get the desired affect.

    After turning the accordion, you might do the following for each tag:

    1. Create a separate text with the contents of the desired label.
    2. Turn the new block of text to 180 degrees as it is upside
    3. Copy the rotated text block.
    4. Double-click the accordion label until you can change the text.
    5. Select all the text in the label and delete it.
    6. Paste the text block rotated as a line in the label of the accordion. At this point, it will be be treated as if it was any character. So, if the text of the label in the accordion is set to be left-aligned, the Inline frame will rely on the right side because the accordion is turned. If you want the label to be visually left-aligned, pointer to select the accordion label such as its selection handles, open the text panel, then select the icon to right-align.
