  It is not the most intuitive CSS panel.

  In the drop-down list the Type of class, ID, Tag, compound selector, select compound

  In the drop-down list selector name, you will see then a body, a: link, a: visited, a: hover, a: active.

  Select a: hover and you're on your way.

  P.S. I can easily get the CSS code were right to say Windows Notepad, but I really want to make it work in the CSS for DW CS5 Panel.

  Do you see a row of icons at the bottom of this Panel under the word "Properties"?  On the right side, there is a chain link icon, a document with a plus, a pencil, a crossed circle and a trash can - what do you see?  Looking for just a second, the document with a more.

• Cannot bring up the vectorscope in reference monitor

  I am trying to correct the colors and to do the y waveform and vectorscope for reference. The only place where I was told that I can put is in the reference monitor, I have no difficulty in raising.   I have three pages in my application. There is one table and they all access. One is the homepage and includes a report. From there, I can click on "New line" and go to a blank form to enter another record. From the homepage, I can also go to a page "Updated a line" to update the information.

  Hello

  OK - normally, the user would click on a link on a line in the report on the first page to go to the update page. This link would cross the primary key value of the record they want to put up-to-date.

  If you just click a button, the update page wouldn't know which required record updated. The update page has a process of "search for the line...". "that must have a parameter that identifies the page element that will contain the primary key of the record. It is this value that must be defined by a link.

  I suggest you change your report, click the column attributes tab and click a column that you can use a link and scroll down to the section of the link column. Here, enter the page number of the form was updated, the page element in need of the primary key (in the first 'these elements' SETTING) and the name of the column (in the "with these values" setting - surround the column with # s name, for example, #EMPNO #) that contains the primary key on your report. These settings then build a URL that, when the user clicks on the link, transfer the user to the update page and move into the desired primary key - the process then does the rest to update the record on the screen.

• Cannot see how to change the CSS properties in CSS designer in 2014 CC DW

  I've recently updated for DW CS5 until 2014. I noticed that the 2014 version doesn't have the possibility to make changes in the CSS properties using CSS designer. In DW CS5, I could easily change CSS properties in the CSS box. Now with 2014, I must open the CSS page and manually enter the values in the code for the line. This seems to be a huge step backward. On that note, since 2014 shows the CSS style tags element in Design view, it would be great if you can click on them to go directly to the Properties menu. This function, as it is now, is a bit useless. I hope that Adobe makes it easy access to the CSS on the next version of the software.

  Personally, I find manually adding the code in the .css file to be much faster than the CSS panel or the new CSS designer, but you can certainly add/edit css to use. I wouldn't call it worthless until you are faster to manually code than to make selections in the menus of many however in the designer.

  You need not open the file .css separately. You can click on the name of the .css file in the bar of dependent files at the top of your document that the css is attached, to view its source code and make changes there.

• I can't stand the new CSS Designer Panel. I can customize to work like the old CSS panel?

  Creating cloud DW has a lot of changes to the CSS panel something that I used to use all the time. It does not open the CSS dialog box when I double click on the selector, I don't like how it displays the properties, he's wasting important 'real estate' with 'Sources' and '@Media' and I do not... use pls pls do not the decision to have spent the money to get this new version of Dreamweaver that made that worse... at least allow users to customize the Panel where it is usable again hate me!

• DW CS4 'go to the code' does not go to the css code

  When you are in the css Panel and right-click on a particular style, by clicking 'Go to the code' used to put me to the exact location of this rule in the relevant css file. This is no longer. It seems to bring me to the relevant html in the html source code, but code that is useless. Someone at - it ideas? I use this feature TONS and can't live without it.

  I just tested CS4 preferences changed to 'Edit using CSS dialog box'. Go to the Code still works without problem.

  Now, I noticed that at the top, there is a new "toolbar" with all of the files that are associated with this document and css files are among them. I did not like it, cause I want the CSS OPEN file when I edit it, so I know not to save and download the right to file in just 2 clicks. I noticed that the css files no longer appear in the "toolbar" - I could have attempted to change these settings.

  The related files toolbar is controlled by the General category of the preferences panel. The fourth element of the top is 'enable related files '. Even with this unchecked, go to the Code works.

  The only other edit I've done recently is to change toolbar real to exclude some buttons I don't a need (cut/paste/copy/etc...) so that the buttons I have they use all appear on a single line. I edited the xml file and saved and it seems to work fine - if it wasn't for this 'go to the code"no longer works.

  Could any of my changes "broken" this feature? How to cancel the best?

  It is possible that your changes might have broken some features in Dreamweaver. How to cancel them is to remove your personal Configuration file and let Dreamweaver generates a new with factory settings.

  Yes, it's a difference between Dreamweaver CS3 and CS4. Go to the Code does not work in CS4 if your style sheet is attached using an inclusion. When you access using Dreamweaver CS4, the help files are launched in a browser, which should connect directly to the online help system. Help has moved online because it can be updated more frequently if problems are discovered. It also has a comment system, where I provide many of the answers or refer to Adobe if necessary. Even if you are offline, access to help is expected to launch a local version of the original files.

  Here is a simple test to you and all your colleagues in the technical support engineer:

  Rename or delete just your c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe file is "missing".

  Rename rundll32.exe---> rundll32.xxx

  If you started normally, before you can blink, the 'missing' rundll32.exe file quickly and quietly replace the copy in the dllcache folder.  It is the Protection of Windows file in action and you will see something like this in the Event Viewer log system:

  Event type: Information
  Event source: Windows File Protection
  Event category: no
  Event ID: 64002
  Description:
  File replacement was attempted on the protected system file c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe. This file was restored to the original version to maintain system stability. The file version of the system file is 5.1.2600.5512.

  I beg you to perform this simple test to know how the sfc/scannow:

  Boot your system to Safe Mode or the recovery for the Windows File Protection Console does not run.

  For this example, we will use the system critical file rundll32.exe.

  Rename or delete your c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe.exe file so the file is now "missing."

  A critical file, is it true?  It is on the list of the file 3498 knows the Protection of Windows and SFC files, but now he isn't.

  If Windows File Protection is running, the "missing" file would be quickly and silently replaced (try to rename or delete it in normal mode and it will be quickly and quietly replaced).
