buttons in the rollover buttons?

Hello

I have an indesign doc which is essentially a map of the world. On the plan several places are marked which, when exported to PDF and rolled over shows a popup with the news of office for this location.

That I have no problem with the help of the buttons show/hide, etc.

However, each bearing breast I need to add buttons for email/web links that can be clicked to open the link.

So can button within rolling buttons be created using Indesign?

Val

This will work with 2 buttons: 1 button will be action to show the button 2 and 2 button can have an action to go to destination (email/web link). Also note: you can't apply a hyperlink to the text portion of the button, it needs to be done as a button action.

It will not work with 1 button with an appearance of reversal. The appearance of reversal is Visual, not functional.

  • Possibility to change the rollover button via events State?

    I have a small AIR application, I wrote that basically allows instructors open vehicle different sovereign control panel, set the positions of the controls on the Panel and then take screenshots for their educational materials. Since some of the panels receive enough complex, I thought it would be nice to have a function such that they could see where all of the invisible buttons are for all controls on a Panel.

    My first thought was to just put all the buttons to their rollover State, but that went nowhere part quickly (they aren't MovieClips, they are SimpleButtons), so my next thought was to send somehow a turning event to each button to force it to the rollover State. But I can't seem to get anywhere with anyone...

    If I do:

         btnDn.dispatchEvent( new Event(MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER) );

    nothing notable happens.

    Does anyone have pointers on this? I'm looking for something stupid and impossible?

    I have a DIY class where I simply swap the upState and exaggerate buttons, but it feels ridiculous overkill for something that seems like it should be so simple...

    Eric.

    a temporary variable is necessary.  If you want to optimize this code so there's minimal work for the flash player, use:

    var tempState:DisplayObject;

    function swapUpOverF(btn:SimpleButton):void {}

    tempState = btn.upState;

    btn.upState = btn.overState;

    btn.overState = tempState;

    }

  • Reshape the rollover area

    I have a pie chart I would like to provide additional information using the animated buttons. I thought I'd be able to do this using a smart polygon shape for each part of my pie chart and then use convert to a smart form reversal. However, that appears to convert the smart form into a text box and keeps the rectangular button that is animated. This seems rather backwards. Someone at - he a clue as how to shape the rollover instead of the text box area? Thank you.

    Darin

    Indeed, it is the smart form which is transformed into a form of substitution as the Tip mentioned, but the rollover area is always a rectangle.

    Should it be a bearing, a click is not an alternative? If you can deal with the clicks: create a form with the desired shape and turn it into a button.

    If you really need rollover, then you should buy the Eventhandler's InfoSemantics widget, it allows you to create rollover events.

    Another solution is to use a slidelet. For slidelets, it is possible to 'Redraw' the rollover area.

    Rollover image?

    No way, I am aware to do this for these objects.

    But if it's a slidelet area, you have the ability to right click on the rollover area and choosing to redraw the shape. You could then approximately an oval by clicking several times until you got the oval.

  • Color of the rollover on answers quiz slides

    In Captivate 5.5, is there a way to change the color of the bearing when the learner is over their cursor an answer on a quiz slide? In my project, the rollover highlight color is a dark grey, it is difficult to read the answer when the cursor is on the text of the response.

    Unfortunately not.

    Join the queue and connect you to an enhancement request to address this problem. I agree that this is a major defect not being able to configure the color of this reversal.

  • Captivate 5 STROKE hide State of the rollover slidelet

    I'm trying to figure out how to hide the shot on the slidelet box - not the content box put you things. I see in the properties, there is a way to hide the stroke - which works, but when I saw my Captivate 5 file and move my mouse over the area of the slidelet, stroke boxes shows up! Very frustrating! I don't want a line on this box to any point in time. Is there a way to disable it is as well that the race does not appear on the bearing?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    Click on the rollover area and look in the properties panel. Specifically, the section titled Transition (to 5.0). There is an option called 'Border of the Runtime Show' you should probably disable by unchecking the checkbox. 5.5 he called to "Show Runtime shadow" and is located in the section fill and stroke.

  • Close the button for the rollover Sidelet: size does matter?

    Hi all

    I build a slide that incorporates a rollover sidelet. Since the public of my tutorial includes some older users, I want to assure you that everything is easy to see.

    My question is this: can the 'Close' button that appears in the upper right of the sidelet be expanded? Currently, the sidelet is set to 'stick' for a long period of time: I would like users who want to ignore its contents to close easily and then continue the tutorial.

    Thanks for the help!

    Unfortunately we have no control over the size of the button. You should probably make a request to the development team to consider adding this in the future.

  • Place the rollover image button on the external top of swf

    I have a menu when you click on a button, an external swf is called. However, I would like for the buttons and more and the low State to show an image on the top of the external swf with a description of what the video is of about (essentially when they overthrow the button).

    The problem is that the image shows behind the external swf. I can't see on the top of the external swf. I tried to put the layer of buttons on the top of the layer of actions, but it does not work.

    I have not used Flash for a long time, but I need to know if there is ActionScipt who can solve my problem or any other way to solve this problem. Help, please. Thank you.

  • Add sound to the rollover button in dreamweaver

    Everybody knows not how to add sound to a button with Dreamweaver using Javascript or just an application inside Dreamweaver. Maybe it's not possible, but I think it would be.

    HELP PLEASE

    There are plenty of tutorials online through Google.

    http://www.smartwebby.com/web_site_design/play_sound.asp

    What version of DW?

    You can use a Dreamweaver behavior.

    In CS4, behaviors > ~ deprecated > Sound Play.

    NB: although it is possible to play sounds when rolling more buttons, I strongly advise against it. It's at the top of the list of the most annoying features that can have any website. Personally, I hit the back button immediately and go elsewhere if Web sites (in particular buttons) emitting sounds that I don't want to hear to start.

  • Several sections in the Rollover button

    Hello .  I'm trying to find out if you have several links in different States of a button.  To see what I'm trying to reach, please visit this sham upwards: http://www.crosscurrentdesign.com/EaglesSales/layout3.htm

    There are four areas (buttons) under the flash animation.  The idea is to right-click the first box (power) and then power click on your area (MD/GOING/DC or PA/NJ/en).  I created several slices in different States, but when I goto changes both URLS it changes all sectors to a URL.  I need two.  Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Greg,

    Do you mean that when you add a link to a point of interest that the same link is also applied to the other hotspot and the slice? That should only happen if you selected at the same time all three. When you have hot spots on the links, it is sometimes difficult to choose one of them - especially in the range is greater than the hotspots.

    Try to open the layers panel and selecting a single point of access both Web layer and using the links in the PI.

    Attached is a sample file which I believe is what you are trying to accomplish. Export to HTML and Images to test the feature.

    Hope this helps,

    Dave

  • Maintain the rollover State for clicked links - session cookies

    Hello!

    I have a series of button images on all of my web pages, and I want to keep their rollover State individually when I click on them and go to another page and back. It is perfectly correct for the cookie that is deleted when the browser closes.

    I used dreamweaver swapimage behavior and remove the swap image restore behavior which is standard.

    This way the user of my site could see where they had been on a page, even if they leave and come back.

    I think it's an effect for many users?

    Thanks for any help!

    I assume that you set the value of a link clicked on TRUE cookie.

    At the bottom of the page, just above the tag, you need something like this (repeat the line for EACH image ID if)-
