I would recommend you to go home, download Acrobat/Reader cleaning tool using this link: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs.
After running this tool and uninstall the program completely, download Adobe Reader using this link: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions

Acrobat XI can only be used as a trial for a month.
Adobe now offers only Acrobat DC Plans and price | Adobe Acrobat DC.

Running older Acrobat Pro 9 on laptop v. It crashed. I do not have access to inactivate. Have a new laptop and have taken the serial number when he asks the trial version. You simply drag the Acrobat DC application from the applications folder to the trash to uninstall.
Then restart your system & install Acrobat XI Download Adobe Acrobat products. Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X.

Adobe does not charge for the 30 day trial, but it seems that you have subscribed to Acrobat Pro (as a simple app for creative cloud membership) return March 15. To cancel your subscription, please contact customer service.
