Buy stand-alone Lightroom and cancel the creative cloud
I am a CC subscriber, but don't use PS but as LR. Accordingly, I prefer to cancel my subscription to the CC and LR just buy on a stand-alone basis for money. Unfortunately, despite the existence that there seems to be every option to ask questions of Adobe 'support' on how to go about it, in fact it doesn't seem to be anyone there and I went through all the options I can think of. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Perpetually licensed software do not receive updates/upgrades. It is what it is. However, the Plan of photography ensures that your software is always up to date and able to work with newer camera files. Something to consider.

If this does not work, follow the steps below and check:

Reinstall Lightroom 5 of the creative cloud
Help needed. I had to remove the previously installed App Lightroom 5 creative cloud however the download application tells me that 5 Lightroom is always installed . Tried to reboot the computer, nothing helps. How can I reinstall Lightroom 5 of my creative cloud membership?
Okay that's the reason why you face your current difficulties. Please try to use the uninstall program located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.
Once you have run the uninstall program then you will need to exit and reopen creative application Cloud force it to refresh the list of installed applications.
If you continue to experience difficulties, then please try to remove the file OPM.db located in
/Users/ folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE. You can hold down the option key and go to the menu go to access the hidden user library folder in the Finder. There is no reason to try to delete the file OPM.db if before running the uninstall program and quit and relaunch the application cloud creative. -

I just opened the app as usual at some saved pictures and everything else is there except that my tone curve is missing!
How can I get that back? I know that some of the arrows down allows you to hide some elements, but my tone curve is gone gone! I use lightroom for years and have never had this happen...
You have inadvertently disabled it.
Right-click anywhere inside the area of the HHR panel and check the option of tone curve to restore the tone curve Panel.

Cannot cancel the creative cloud
I met my annual contract commitment, towards the end that sent me an email letting me know the annual contract was ending. The email said I had to stop the automatic renewal or the number of members would continue, which I stop automatic renewal. When I tried to cancel my account, I was sent to the CS chat who told me that I never stopped automatic renewal and the reason why I have not been charged is due to problem with my credit card billing. In addition, my subscription (free or not) cannot be cancelled. He continued to inform that I would not be charged for the month (why?), but if I have to cancel I would be charged 50% for early termination. This is not true. I tried to download the desktop version of creative cloud for the office installation program, but every time I want to install it gives me code error 202 and 204? They are not on the help sites.
Follow the procedure below:

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe.
