  Hi all

  Here's the problem: I added a contact with a single profile (Google) for my pitcher.  Later, I deleted the Google account from the phone as part of a problem of synchronization and then added the account to the phone again.  The launcher icon has been replaced by a Crescent Moon icon.  When I press on it, I get the message "the pitcher to this contact link is broken."  I can't remove the icon.

• BlackBerry Z10 Z10 suddenly stopped synchronization of calendar and contact - link gives BB cannot communicate with connected mssg but displays device

  I think that BB link updated the software in March 2015.  I had been very good sync with my laptop Windows 8 with the Outlook calendar and contacts, but this week it stopped.  BB link watch Z0 connected, but says cannot communicate with the device.  I tried the solution of knowledge base - leave plugged phone with a USB cable, power phone off, then back on donkey wait 3-5 minutes for the pilots to complete loading - but none help.  I rebooted the computer and the Z10 several times, but no luck with the synchronization.  Any help is appreciated!

  Try the following steps, which will completely remove all traces of BlackBerry-link device driver entries and may solve your problem:

  1. Uninstall the BlackBerry link.
  2. Open the Device Manager by pressing the Windows key + R on your keyboard type devmgmt.msc , and then click OK.
  3. Click view , and then click Show hidden devices on the menu that appears.
  4. Expand the BlackBerry section by clicking on the + symbol next to it.
  5. Right-click on the following, and then click Uninstall. In the dialog box that appears, select delete the driver for this device. If more than one of each of the following entries appear, remove them as well.
     • BlackBerry smartphone
     • BlackBerry smart phone
  6. Expand the network adapters section by clicking on the + symbol next to it.
  7. Right-click on the following, and then click Uninstall. In the dialog box that appears, select delete the driver for this device. If more than one of each of the following entries appear, remove them as well.
     • BlackBerry smartphone
     • Tethering BlackBerry smartphone
     • Virtual private network of blackBerry
  8. Restart the computer.
  9. Reinstall the latest version of BlackBerry link.
  10. Try to reconnect your BlackBerry Z10 to the computer and see if she is able to communicate with the BlackBerry link.

  After back and let us know if it works for you.

  What word to search on and where are you looking for the link to a manual for the em330?   I have the user manual, but it does not explain how do I delete a Contact?

• NSContacts - how to get a unified contact-related contacts?

  In my address book, I unified contacts for some people:

  -a card with personal data and is shared with my family with iCloud account

  -for the same person, one card is business oriented, with data company, on another account iCloud

  I'm developing a program with xCode, SWIFT.

  I want to get in contact with the commercial aspect, but I am only able to get a touch unified; When I remove it, I delete the two cards.

  How can I access contacts linked by a unified contact? Or how can I get access to only one of the linked contacts?

  I currently use unifiedContactsMatchingPredicate (with the predicateForContactsInGroupWithIdentifier predicate) that retrieves only the contacts unified; I couldn't find another appropriate method!

• Change the names of contacts

  So I have all my contacts linked to their facebook of google and yahoo, but now the phone seems to be forcing me to use their full names rather than the names of nick. I would like to know the name of MOM or dad pop up instead of first names of my parents, it goes the same for my boyfriend. Has anyone found how to change the display name? I know its possible because one of my contacts still has their nick name, but idk how I did it. Hah.

  We use Google's algorithm for contact linking. Unfortunately sometimes it takes the name of Myspace or other undesirable name as the display name. For these contacts, you'll need to 'untie' so that the full name of show.

  Hi @Vera-A

  When you integrate a Facebook account that all your contacts will be synchronized to your device, you cannot select specific contacts.

  That being said, you can optionally hide your Facebook contacts and don't have Facebook data appear on contacts from another location, such as your e-mail address if you link contacts.

  To hide a set of contacts such as Facebook, open the Contacts application, further down from the top of the screen and tap Settings and then turning off Facebook.

  I have contacts on my device as sync r with my hotmail account. There are a few contacts that are displayed in the "local" folder on the device "

  yesterady, I copied the LOCAL contacts to the folder on the device and demolished HOTMAIL contacts in the LOCAL folder.

  Now the HOTMAIL folder contacts show under the same name with about 250 phone numbers, email addresses etc. with this also on my HOTMAAIL desktop contacts were disrupted

  is it possible that I can repair / restore my contacts

  I had a return of my device on the LINK before you do - what happens if I sync off the HOTAMIL unit and then restore the backup of the device - wud I restore previous state

  A colossal loss of important conatcts - feel very handicapped

• BlackBerry Contact Z30 overload - need help

  I received my Z30 and set up my accounts 3 e-mail, twitter, Facebook and linked.

  I noticed that all my followers on twitter 1500 had drawn in my contacts folder. It is the same for all my contacts links in and facebook contacts.

  Is there anyway to undo that and just return to my phone contacts?  It is a real pain in the butt.

• How to add contacts to Live Mail on Windows 7

  I transferred my Outlook Express address book to Windows 7. It is in the library under contacts. I can't add ot my contacts in Live Mail

  1. in Windows Live Mail, click on the Contacts link at the bottom left.
  2 - while in the Contacts list, press the ALT on your keyboard to bring up the menu bar.  Then choose file > import > address book for the current Windows user

  This will import all the contacts of your Contacts of the user folder.

  I have a BlackBerry Z10 and a 'problem' with the facebook app and my contacts. Software application or device facebook link my contacts automatically with my fb contacts. Is it possible to disable this feature?

  Some of my friends use a pseudonym on facebook and my contacts are crushed by this nickname.

  So far I can't remove facebook for each contact link manually.

  Welcome to the forums.

  At the moment there is no way to disable the Facebook contact Sync feature. You will need edit each contact and remove the link Facebook or you can just change the name of the contact so that it displays the name you want.

• Images of blackBerry Smartphones Contact sync with Facebook app.

  I just received a Bold 9700 and noticed that, even though I have the ability to synchronize the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts on the phone profiles, photos for my phone contacts remain blank.  Facebook profiles are related to my contacts and sometimes show the Facebook profile photo, but after a while the image is an icon of the Virgin again.  I also deselected the option synchronize and re-activated the option Update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try to force the update photos, but without success.

  I thought it might also be due to a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact photos because I initially imported all my contacts from my Gmail account, but I am unable to understand what other apps, if any, are updated photos contact and so to disable them.

  Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pictures correctly however and others that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are related to my Blackberry contacts.

  Any ideas on how I can get pictures of my contacts to sync properly with Facebook?
