  Hey, I need help with ym Blackberry Curve 9300

  I tried to download the new update to 6OS but it won't work, I downloaded the latest version of Blackberry Desktop software but every time I try and update my phone it just comes up with "a updated Blackberry Desktop software component must be installed to continue" but then when I click on 'install' it happens to not even 1/10th of a full bar and it's freezing I left it on all night and it still did not move 1 cm, someone please help as I really want to download the new software but ive been trying for days to do and it still does not work

  Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

  1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  I need desperate help! My blackberry on my curve (only a device years) contacts doesn't let me add or edit contacts. My App World also disappeared and is not repairable via reboot. I went to my provider and they suggested factory reset my phone via the computer. However after I finished typing in the guests, a window appears saying I need the Manager of blackberry devices. WHERE can I find it? I downlaoded the Office PC, which he said somewhere online something needs before the software of the device? I don't know I am in the dark and just want my phone works again! Can I get a link to Device Manager or even better measures for this? Help!

  Are you sure you have the password?

  Why not go into your hotmail account and a new password here, something really simple and then again try to add it to your BlackBerry.

  I changed the sim card in my 9900 to try to find a number that was on a different band sim card, I reinserted my other sim card and now I can't access my phone.   Hi, I have used a Bold 9870 for a few months now. I've been saving my camera on my computer periodically. Unfortunately, it has been exposed to water the weekend and unresponsive. I transferred my acct (by Sasktel) to the Blackberry curve of my son he no longer uses. (I'm drying my "BOLD" in a bag of rice and I hope that it will work again in the coming days?!).

  My question is did anyone know how I can get all my information backups "BOLD" (contacts, emails, texts, bbm surveys) and get only their transferred on the curve that I currently use. I feel completely lost without it!

  I have a strange problem with my Blackberry "BOLD" 4 9900, sometimes when I receive or make a call, the phone is connected and I don't get 2 hear the person at the other end, and vice versa, the only solution for this is hard reboot the phone that is like taking the battery and have it pop back in and then things works very well and it's soething that happens daily is there a way to diferrent without restarting the phone and why it happens instead of 1 m, also I got the replacement of the device like the previous, it was cut and after investigation of blackberry, they gave me a new device. The version of the OS in the mine is 7.1.0.746 (2108), I was invited by the service 7.1 bundle downgrade and backup center 1646, which I am not ready to do what it takes forever and I have to reinstall all the software back and set up e-mail. What would you suggest?

  Also the latest BBM version which is 7.0.1.23 is installed, my phone that has WiFi but unlike previous versions where they had a backup and restore under backup management option that is no longer there, there at - it a way to get that back, I had uninstalled and reinstalled BBM but still does not work and the desktop software is not save BBM groups or pins?

  The error that you are experiencing with your address book indicates a problem with the software and it is advisable that reinstalling the software to correct this situation.

  Back up your data by using the Desktop software then follow KB11320 to reinstall the operating system (or KB19915 if you use a Mac).

  Before restoring any data when reloading the software is complete, you can access your address book to make sure that the error no longer appears and see if you are able to access BBM and App World.

  Please note that if you use BBM 7, you must use the same ID BlackBerry to restore your contacts. Ensure that you are able to access your BBID to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid

  Bought yesterday, put a password on it, typed in it and then struck again, thinking, yes awesome... so blocked my phone, came back to him, tried to type my password, wrong, typed again... wrong, who did 7 times now and evil!   If you got your Blackberry wiped, then you have 507 error when starting again, simply connect your Blackberry to the BB Desktop Manager and reload the OS

  Hi, I've had my BB for a few weeks now & love it. But the days of lastfew when I turn it off, I get a message detailing a time & date that it is scheduled for re - turn on. As part of the Auto on / off, I have disabled this feature, but yet I still get the auto on time message (is not even for the 'valid' time setting is.) Any organization, you have ideas please?   I am totally fed up with AT & T as they rob me of my money. I need network unlock my phone contract AT & T I need code unlock and the PUK code. If I don't get the unlockcodes I'll have to throw my BlackBerry Torch 9810 for nothing!

  When the error message "ENTER PUK CODE" appears on the screen of the device:

  1. Connect to myAT & T.
  2. Select Wireless in the myAT & T tab at the top of the page.
  3. Select my phone/device.

  

  4. click on unlock the SIM card.

  

  5 follow the instructions on the page pop up.

  

  Unlock the SIM card

  1. Enter the eight-digit on the phone PUK code, then press OK/Yes.

  Note: Some users of Motorola phones must enter * 05 * if "enter PUK code" is not already displayed. After entering * 05 *, enter the eight digit PUK code and press OK.

  2. Select a new PIN code, then press OK/Yes.

  3 re - enter the PIN code, then press OK/Yes.

Do not price comparisons and unlocking instructions. Check again the number of model-network to which your phone is locked and the IMEI number before ordering. If you have made mistakes in these details these people will never give you refund! One last thing, before ordering ask them about the conditions for a full refund in the case of an error code!   The BONE levels are forwards, but not backwards compatible.  So code 4.0 runs on newer versions.

  However on the touchscreen devices, it runs in compatibility mode, you really consider a version specifically for these devices.
