by default 2 pixel image margin

Can someone tell me why I'm getting a margin of 2 pixels by default on my images? I have a chart that I cut out in 6 pictures - but they don't line up unless I have add a margin of-2.

Difficult to say without seeing the code.

Have you tried some css:

  • Photoshop CS6 (vs 13.0.1) severely pixelated images

I have an iMac, running OS X Yosemite 10.0.1.   Almost everytime I open all the files (RAW or Jpeg) I get severely pixelated images. I'm the Bridge ACR to Photoshop or Photoshop browser. It is intermittent. But very often.  I can close the file and open it and sometimes it's just perfectly fine and sometimes it happens again.  Any advice would be great.  I keep all my images on an external hard drive.  I have 8 GB of RAM. All programs uptp date.

Or, more likely, it's just the known bugs of video driver in MacOS 10.10.

Apple is aware of the video driver bugs and work on a solution.

Until Apple can release a solution, you can disable the GPU of drawing in Photoshop preferences and restart the application.

If you really need the GPU features in Photoshop, you can consider downgrading to a more stable version of MacOS.

  • Another stupid question: defeat headache pixelated image

I am just placing of pictures in the frames of ellipse in an InDesign document, but they eventually pixelated, whenever I print the document. Here are the steps I take; Please let me know where to begin my idiocy.

    1. I downloaded files jpeg image of a set of photos on Flickr. When I upload an image, I can print it with net angles without any problem (outside of InDesign). However, the image will appear much smaller in InDesign, so I uploaded a smaller version of the image.

    2. this smaller image, that's what I the framework of the ellipse in my document. Sometimes, I need to manipulate the image a bit as part of the ellipse to make sure that the right parts of the image are visible and relaxed as I would that they in the framework.

    3. when I print, the images appear pixelated. Why is - what happens when I have already printed a much larger version of the image that seems fantastic?

    4. I also tried another route. First of all, it's not like I can download images from Flickr in any format other than jpeg. What I have done, is to open the file downloaded into Photoshop jpeg and resaved it in tiff format. However, when I place this tiff image in the InDesign document, which appears too pixelated when printed.

Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?

    Thank you

    Joe

Also be sure to change the default "send image" data control "optimized subsampling" to print 'all' in the dialog box.

  • Why is my pixelated image then?

I resized my picture so he could hold the frame in InDesign. If the image was as high resolution that I could put I changed the size of the image and adjusted pixels/inch resolution so the pixel with was the same. My resolution is 576.

I moved my image from Photoshop to InDesign and I cut and pasted the image, but it always seems that the resolution is about 40.

  • I see all my pixelated images.  I don't want to give up, each update is a worse mess.

vedere.jpgThe image I see NORMAL, in PS CS6 but also in print. Look at the screenshot. :-( It is impossible to work this way.

The first thing you need to do is Cache level to a value of 2 or more.  Artifacts of poor quality displayed in your image are exactly typical set Cache levels to 1.

But you're also against it with your system specs.  3.3 GB of RAM is marginal for the current versions of Photoshop, then push that up to 80% and try to use Photoshop with nothing else running.
