• Adobe Application Manager is no longer up-to-date CS6 Production Premium

  Hello

  I have a perpetual license CS6 Production Premium for mac. I had problems with OSX El Capitan, so I returned to Yosemite 10.10.5 and I did a clean install.

  After I reinstalled CS6 Production Premium I run Adobe Application Manager to update the applications to newer versions.

  But rather as a first thing Adobe Application Manager update itself and by updating other applications, the installation program got stuck, and I had to restart my mac.

  Now: Adobe Application Manager became suddenly the creative cloud (seriously?), and rather than offer me to update the applications it offers upgrade me to CC - something that I hate and I would never do. I don't give myself no options to update to the current version of CS6, but only "update all my cc applications.

  Any ideas?

  p.s. I won't go into detail about how I feel any CC, because I know that it has already been discussed to death. But I am disgusted now I am obliged to have this application creative cloud on my mac, which I find very invasive and completely unrelated to the original CS6 license I bought. I have to use the tools of the business that I hate right now (but I used to love), I think it's very sad.

  Here's what I did:

  When you try to update, creative application Cloud opens instead of Adobe Application Manager. For this reason he detected no any update, unless I'm subscribed to CC (which of course I don't want). Apparently creative cloud and the old Adobe Application Manager coexist on your mac, but the default application is now creative cloud, so I got rid of the creative cloud and in doing so, I was able to access the former manager of Application and to update CS6 to the latest available version.

  4. Open an application of CS6 (e.g. Photoshop) > help > updates...
  5. This will finally open the former Application Manager, and it will be possible to update the software again.

• Update Adobe Application Manager fails

  I have a registered version of Lightroom 6.0 on Windows 10 which I am trying to update to get the latest version of Camera Raw (currently 9.0) to support the FIRST of a Panasonic GX-8. • Adobe Application Manager is updating every time I start it.

  I use Adobe Application Manager Mac OS 10.6.8 to manage my subscriptions Photoshop and InDesign. A few days back, Adobe Application Manager downloaded and installed an updated (to himself) and since then, whenever I open it, it installs an update (the message says "updating Adobe Application Manager"), and then asks for my password of Mac OS and then my Adobe ID and password.   I just signed up for Photoshop CC.  Given my credit card and ordered the trial to start download.  After clicking Download trial Adobe Application Manager tries to start, but I get an error message fast on another instance and it disappears before I can write it.  The Application Manager tries to install and I get a message from errorl; "Adobe application manage failed to install."  I can't download Photoshop CC.

  I couldn't find any Adobe Application Manager in my programs to try to uninstall and resinstall.  Of course, it happens always on Saturdays or on Sundays when there is no support.  Any help would be greatly appreciated,

• I'm trying to print using my own profile and no color management.   I have found a lead to the Adobe Color Print Utility but reached a point where he declared that she would not work with future versions of the Mac operating system.   I have Mac OS 10,11,

  You don't want or need to use the old setting 'No Color Management'. Is no longer the right way to print with a custom printer profile, in the current versions of Photoshop and OS X.

  To use a custom profile to print, use the attached picture settings:

  • In the print dialog box, set the Photoshop color management menu manages colors.
  • Select your profile to the printer in the printer profile menu.
  • In the settings of printer driver Epson (under Printer Setup button) make sure that the Epson printer driver is set to the color - off management.

  

  I don't know why Adobe Color Printer Utility works in 10.11.3, because I can throw on OS X 10.10 and 10.11.   One of the possibilities for your deliverance is a questionable feature on by default in Windows 10, changing your default printer to be everything you've printed on last.

  Go to the Windows 10 Settings of the PC and from there, select Printers & Scanners. Note the option to Let Windows manage my default printer. Make sure that this option is set to Off which is not the default. Once you set this option to Off, then set the driver Adobe PDF as a default. Windows hide more with her!

• Adobe color utility "fine art print media" greyed out

  I've been printing color targets for ICC profiles using Adobe color print utility. The software worked using "photo paper", but when I tried to print using the "fine art" media choices have been shaded. I print on an epson 3880. Epson told me that this is not their problem--it's an application problem. I updated my latest print driver and I am on OSX 10.10. Help would be appreciated.
