By default/associate email blackBerry Smartphones calendar

I deleted the email address on my phone (8130) and now outlook does not recognize the old entries as belonging to my calendar. It's as if there is a default calendar on my device that is not associated with any email address now. When I put my email address in, he only joined the entries that I put in the new device. Is it possible to get them integrated/partner to my address a new e-mail? I don't use outlook for e-mail, but if I need to be implemented to solve this problem, I.

Thanks in advance.

Renee

Since my post, I managed to solve the problem.  I ended up calling my provider wireless (AT & T in my case) and they hooked me up with RIM support.  Basically, the problem has been resolved by using backup restore & in the Desktop Manager program.  I recommend that you first try to get technical support RIM like I did, that your problem is perhaps unique.

However, here's how my problem was resolved.  Make sure first that your calendar in Outlook is full and perfectly up-to-date, which, in my case, it was.  Click on the Advanced button in the B & R function.  You will see a list of side-by-side databases; a Desktop file and a device.  The desktop file refers to any backup file may have created previously.  I recommend that you first create a backup file.  Then you can scroll to the bottom of the list of devices in the db and delete databases 'Calendar' and 'all civilians. "  Now reset your Configuration of the synchronization for one-way synchronization of Outlook to device and synchronize.  Now everything should be fixed.  Reset your config sync to synchronize 2 paths for the future.

Hope that helped.  This problem me frustrated powerfully as well, but I was happy to actually get support from RIM.  I think you do it through your wireless provider, because they have a contract with RIM.  Otherwise it would cost $$$.

Thanks for your reply, Ira.  That's what I had before setup - two emails and calendar have been with eastlink.ca.  I discovered this anomaly by designating a test as hotmail calendar entry, eastlink was my fault.  the "Recall" function worked!  That is why I did my default email for the calendar hotmail.  EastLink is always my default email for email and that's what I want, and so far everything works.  Strange.  In any case, I consider that the problem is solved.  Thanks for your comments.

  • Internet email blackBerry Smartphones account setup for the curve 9320

I bought this new Blackberry Curve 9320, but I'm not sure how to set up my Gmail account in it.

When I click on email accounts in the Setup program, it forces me to activate a business account which I have apparently not. When I click on email Account Management options Messages, a box appears and says "cannot open the e-mail setup application. Contact your wireless service provider. »

You need the BlackBerry data service on your line.  You will need to associate your BlackBerry with your data service account.  And the service books must be pushed and received by the device.  Sounds complicated but it isn't.   Talk to your service provider.  Make sure you have a regular signal good mobile network if you receive service books.   Then use the configuration of e-mail again and you will see the option to add the Internet e-mail.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones calendar events

The only issue I'm having is with my calendar of events. Those that I've marked as 'all day' in iCal find strange on the bb. They are not marked all day on the bb. They run from 05:00 until 23:59... Any idea whats up with that?

I used to have this problem with the synchronization of previous programs. If all data is mirrored on both sides before doing synchronization, click on advanced settings (with calendar) and then select "replace all the events calendar on the BlackBerry smartphone. That should fix things for you! Subsequent synchronizations should work as expected.

    Yes, change your profiles.

    1. Select the profiles icon

    2. a box will appear where you can quickly choose between Loud, vibrate, quiet, normal, phone only, and outside. If you like quick-change device profiles and select the one you want and get out.

    3. If you want to change the tones assigned to the applications in the device, and then select the last option, advanced options

  • Problem of sync/default blackBerry Smartphones calendar

    Hi all

I've searched the forums and although some things are similar, they do not resolve this problem. (btw on 4.7.0.78 latest software, office software v 4.7)

My software synchronizes my storm very well, with outlook 2007. Contacts, calendar, notes, etc. tasts, all go forth, very well. The settings are configured for two-way synchronization with a notification about the conflicts.

However, I noticed that on my BB calendar entries are not making it in my outlook calendar. Invesitgation shows that he is (maybe) because calendar entries I added go to one of 4 Calenders I on the storm. First of all, I was unaware that I had more than one... but it seems I do... that are...

    1. the default device

    2 email1

    3, Email2

    4 Facebook

I did not ask that it creates 2-4, it's just... did! in any case...

All entries that come up during the storm of Outlook are listed under the device default calendar. If I try to add a new entry on the storm, I have only the option at the top to ' send for help: "and then the last 3 calendars. It does not list the first one, peripheral by default, which is all I want anyway.

Then I tried to change an old entry to move it from one calendar to the other and you can not do this - it is greyed out.

So, I tried to select (view) just the device default calendar, using menu > select Calendar > default device. It works because it displays the device default calendar, but even in this case, if you try and add a new calendar entry there still gives you other options of three calendar - add you one, and then when registering, it seems not have entered, because you look at only the device default calendar! In the back he actually saved it in the timing of course.

    Then...

I don't like how I do - I am very happy to remove the 3 calendars I does not use and didn't really feel like there anyway... but I can't work on how do! Or, I want to be able to add a calendar entry to the calendar device fault on my BB... but it doesn't seem to let me do!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Huge.

    Hi guys.

Ok. I discovered how to do this. Basically, Vodafone (carrier) sends two service for each email account CICAL and CMIME books. CMIME is based on messaging and CICAL is based on the calendar wireless. So she instantly sets up a new calendar. As to why he removed the default device as the default device, I don't know. But, if you go to settings > advanced > Service books and remove the CICAL associated email accounts it default to the standard calendar and then re-synchronization sorts all calendar entries.

It seems that the Facebook app adds an CICAL service book too, which can not be stopped and just needs deletion. It seems that every time you reload it adds also, which is a huge pain in the anus... but I have not yet studied in the facebook app to see if that can be turned off...

Interestingly, when itdid delete all 3 of my calendar, it always showed one of the email accounts, but it seemed like a ghost image. I then did the last update of the software (which makes the storm throughout MUCH faster btw) and he allowed that now I'm at square one, where I should be.

Unfortunately, if vodafone never send me the service once again books, you must go through this process all over again because it will add new Calenders to your e-mail accounts - no idea if of other carriers to do this.

But there you go. Problem solved.

    Thanks for everyone help anyway!

  • Questions email blackBerry Smartphones by default - poster.148 upgrade

Update went without a hitch (other than to have to restore my backup the data manually - twice.)  First time, no schedule data).

I have four e-mail accounts.  I put my default Services in the messaging (CMIME) Options to the mailbox: XYZ.

When I send an email from any of the four accounts and leave the drop down at the top to , it seems that my bb chooses an e-mail account to send the message.  According to what I type in the TO: field, the outgoing account is selected vs. it being left by default.

If I leave it at DEFAULT, I chose a TO:, and then the outgoing account may change to 123 instead of the default value of XYZ.  Another email is sent to an address or a different contact and the outgoing is now ABC rather than left to default XYZ.  Very weird.

Has battery pulls, books and Service verification options to the title of email accounts for basic Message e-mail settings - mail Services are the same as the default Services.

    Ideas?  Questions?

    Hello!

If I understand you correctly, the device moves the account 'to' in which you send 'to '. Fix? If so, I believe that it is in fact a function - he remembers that account you last used as 'from' who 'to'... and automatically re - use it next time. Now, since you just updated, it may need some time to re - learn who ' of ' go with which "to of"... "

  • Corporate blackBerry Smartphones calendar / contact / help by email

Hello - my first post to a bulletin board ever! I love my BB, but being not not particularly experts peak, I was slow going. I have a few questions, I was hoping that someone could help me with that.

    1. I set up my personal e-mail address and have the excellent work. Today I created my work e-mail via the company's server address. My question is can I get these emails to enter a specific e-mail folder and not the folder Tote message (which make me crazy and are difficult to read) work?

    2. I thought that once I set up the business system would be automatically download my work calendar and contacts (Microsoft office) on my phone. Is it not the case? Is there something that I am missing? Can I download software bb to my work computer as well and synchronize?

    3. is there a way to get my e-mails sent to go in an e-mail folder sent to respective email accounts? Or is there a way to format the appearance differently?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

The BES account email must be 'almost' instant.

BIS emails count on 'most' of the POP servers can be on the cycle of normal pressure 15 minutes... If mail ends up in two minutes, etc., until the mail is not again and returned to the cycle of 15 min until the mail is once again, rinse and repeat.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones calendar synchronization is not

I have a new Blackberry Curve 8330 (only he had a few weeks) and I managed to get the calendar to sync ONCE.

Using MS Outlook 2007 and Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.7.0.37. (Same thing happened with the old version, I had s/w). Everything seemed well on the first synchronization and all events (calendar, tasks, address, memo) synchronized to the top. But now when I go to sync the calendar is not sync at all. No error message is given either. It's not fair, but it will continue to synchronize the address book, tasks, and memos.

on BB go to options-options by default advanced services

change facebook CICAL and put it to your email address

  • BlackBerry Smartphones calendar won't sync with outlook

I had my blackberry for over a year and recently it stopped sync my BB with my outlook calendar. It synchronizes the address book, tasks and memos fine, but totally ignores the calendar. I've seen several suggestions here and tried but still doesn't work.

It says on the desktop software of BB that my BB is not a calendar installed but it does and it works fine on the device, he just won ' sync. There are 2 calendars on the Facebook feature (which, if I knew how I would delete) and my e-mail, but I address email is the default I think.

KB23978 should help you with the problem of "calendar is not installed.

Regarding the removal of the facebook calendar, just go into options > advanced > service books > find 'Facebook [CICAL]' and delete it

If you don't have a BlackBerry data plan on your line?  If so, that's the problem.  And that's why you don't have service books.

Service books set up many things on older BlackBerry models.      The prompt calendar point is by sending them to others or accepting or rejecting the prompt you receive and the response is sent to the sender.   This feature is enabled by the directories of service for each email that you configured as an ENCORE.

I assumed that an invitation from calendar (meeting request), that's what you try to do it.  If this isn't the case, please provide details.

  • 9300 user - set up email - blackBerry Smartphones baffled - incorrect password error

I hope someone here can shed some light ofn this because I spent 3 weeks trying to solve and I'm still stuck after literally hours on the phone to the network provider and explore every possible potential cause.

About three weeks ago, I upgraded my Curve 9300 BB at 9380.  I copied settings using desktop software preconfigured and transferred to my new camera.  Applications reinstalled fine and I put five e-mail accounts, including 3 (business email) offered in a hosting account with Media Temple.  These all work very well and still do.

My old phone had to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and set all settings at default and follow the procedure for a new SIM card.  When we tried to put in place the enamel on the old device (9300) wouldn't giving the error message Impossible to verify the account contact email provider.  I am the administrator of the e-mail accounts so I know that the settings are correct., network provider resets all settings for email etc and account details BIS etc are all correct.  The e-mail account works through outlook and is accessible via webmail, and we tried changing password and even deleted and created a new e-mail account, but always the same problem - error message telling the user or incorrect password.

I hope that it was a problem with the settings of the old appliance (9300) we could identify and address but it seems not to be that now when I try to put in place a new e-mail account on my new camera (9380) I get the same problem!  User password error - when data are 100% correct and on a device that I have successfully implemented the same type of email account!

I'm completely puzzled and if anyone has or knows a similar problem and has information about this, or has managed to solve, I would like to hear that I've explored everything I can think of network hosts and email.

You must call your provider to find out if the 9300 is properly registered on their network and on behalf of SIM card in the device. They need to confirm the good BlackBerry data Plan on this account, it is not unusual for them wrongly not do or provide incorrect data plan.

  • Email blackBerry Smartphones help w - worked yesterday, not today. I synchronize

You can access your configurations of BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) via a browser/PC or via the interface for device... the result is the same. The only difference is that with the first method you have a keyboard full size and monitor to work with, rather than the device screen. It's your choice, what method to use, the result will be the same.

Except - to use the PC/browser method, you must associate a BIS account (with the login) on your device PIN - because, through this method, may not know what device you are using. After that, you can also use these credentials on your device - but there is a checkbox to ICT which allow your device interface to remember the credentials then out... so you no longer have to type these credentials on the device once.

To use the PC/browser method, find your carriers site connection BRI here:
