  I could not find the answer to this: I work with a var defined in the scenario main var score int; , which I use in 10 different movie clips using partition var = .score MovieClip (this.root);

  Everything works perfectly on the first MovieClip, but when the partition is then do not keep the value assigned in the previous MovieClip so the score is lost.

  When you create a new var in each question and assign the value of the partition, you are not linking back to the partition in the main timeline.  And I don't see anywhere in your code when you update the main partition.

• Windows 7 Professional - impossible to pass the beta Office 07 to 2010.

  I came here looking for help with a problem I had.  I run Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and I installed Office home and Student 2007.  It does not come with the editor and I need a quick project so I downloaded the beta of Office 2010.  The problem I've been is I chose the upgrade (previous versions of Office) during the installation for the beta version, it starts to install and gets all the way to the end and then after like 5 or 10 minutes sitting at the end (full progress bar), it starts to pull on this error:

  "Error 1712: a required file to restore your computer to a previous State could not be found." He said something like that and it just repeating me it again and again until I have to cancel Setup.  I looked at other places where the solutions.  I tried the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to try to remove some 2010 can be run in when installing it is.  I have redownloaded both Setup and delete all the files of 2010 and the registry keys that have been left behind and I always get this error when you try to upgrade.

  1. you should not spend 2007 a beta of 2010.  The program may have had this option, but you shouldn't take it.

  2. actually, I think that you should uninstall your 2007 before you install the BETA 2010 version.

  3. never use a BETA version on a production machine (only in a test environment), and if you don't have a test computer, so I would be very cautious about installing a Beta version on your machine.

  Have you tried to uninstall all versions of Microsoft Office and then reboot first before to perform one set up again? Bob Larson Access MVP

  I have 3 custom paintings on which I am trying to build a custom page. I also need to backup the data in these tables, and these tables is related to each other with a primary and foreign keys.
  
  My questions are
  (1) should I create 3 objects of entity for 3 custom paintings and 3 objects in view of each entity object and then create associations and links?
  (2) can I create 3 objects of entity and a display object for all objects of 3 entity?
  
  I don't know how to deal with viewobjects for the 3 custom paintings and design create entity objects. Please explain

  View the links and the objects of the Association are required only when the feature requires so (relationship master / detail).
  Basically, if your VO interview them tables and you make changes, that happened as a result the database.

• difference of initial value of string between the steps in the process and an external instance of LabWindows/CVI

  I'm curious to know what I see using TestStand, LabWindows/2013 2013 with regard to initial in TestStand string values when you perform the steps in the process or an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

  I have a step (CVI) string value that is used to check an array of characters stored in an EEPROM to test.  I pass on the Step.Result.String in the CVI by reference.  I then read the table charater of the EEPROM in the chain (Step.Result.String).  The string is then compared against the limit as specified in the test step breast.

  When I run this test step to perform the steps in the process selected in the popup Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with null characters.  Which is what I expected.

  When I run this test step to execute the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI iselected of the Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI popup, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with something else.  That is not what I expected.  For example what I see in the memory, it's the first characher is one byte NULL but the remaining bytes are some other values, as shown below:

  In my code I make sure to write a null character in the following location table charater I just write in the chain so I have no problem with the test is working properly.  I have remove the writing from my code null character and was able to verity that the test passes when executing the steps in the process and fails during execution of the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

  The returned string contains what I wrote for her, and then the rest of the string is filled with the values that are in the memory allocated for the string.

  Here's my Question: is this the expected behavior for the original string values in TestStand between both types of stage performances?

  In general teststand not Initializes the unused portion of the string buffer, so it is expected that the values of the memory after character no endpoint will be different, or even to each call. If you happen to be get zeros after the null terminator which was probably due to random character (i.e. the memory allocated just arrived already having zeros in there) or perhaps a debug setting you use perhaps in the Visual C runtime (if you are debugging the process in visual studio or modify visual C runtime heap parameter). TestStand is not initializaing memory after the null terminator character in both cases (I checked the code).

  I have the following requirements.
  
  Page 1: Register Username (form)
  -Insert the user name in A Table
  -Redirect to the new page
  Page 2: Collect modules (form)
  -Insert the info collected in table B
  -User name of Page 1 is the primary key
  
  My problem:
  I can't understand how to use the value of the username (Item1) from Page 1 to Page 2.
  
  What I tried:
  (A) Item2 created in Page 2
  -After that treatment direction Page 1 value with the value of Item1 Item2
  -no value not transferred (failure)
  (B) source edited Item2 on Page 2 for:
  -Used: Always, replacing an existing value in session state
  -Type: point
  -Session State: per session
  -Value of source: P1_ITEM1
  & Several combinations of the two
  
  My question:
  Passing a value of item from a page to another seems to be a relatively basic operation.
  Am I trying to do something that APEX isn't designed to handle?
  Is there a practical way more traditional or better to deal with these issues?

  If the value of the item has been saved in session state (it is generally except if you explicitly Apex to not save the value in session state), then you can reference any element in your application to any other page or another process. So in other words you have a process on page 2 that runs before your page content (FRONT header, AFTER the header or BEFORE REGIONS) that does something like this:

  :P2_ITEM := :P1_ITEM;
  

  If you do that, then should have recorded the value on your other section of the page. This can also be done with calculations. It can also be done with the attribute of the SOURCE of your page, article, and there is probably some other ways to do it as well. One of these should be able to meet your need. Good luck.

  Can someone give me some advice on how to pass a value for one form another page with BC. Basically I want the user to be able to select and image and gallery images 'value' through the form in a hidden field that is a page. I found a video on kiyuco, but it was for the passage to change the url. Not exactly what I do.

  To pass values between Forms in one of the examples is through the url.

  If the form page that link you to the url would be something like:

  /thispage? aParamater = yourvalue & anParam = another value

  Where? -sets your created data casablenca

  aParamater - the name of your parameter that will store a value

  yourvalue - is the actual value

  & appears as & and you add another parameter and value

  After that, are the other parameter and value.

  On the page, you have the shape that you use {module_url, aParamater} for example in the value of input field to your form ( value = '{module_url, aParmater}' )

  I try to call a package Oracle of APEX and must pass the value of a column of IR in this packaging. I tried saying: ADJ_ID but I don't think his pasing anything for the backend.
  Here are the steps.

  You must set you page item (as you try to pass by using the method of colon in PLSQL) first

  You can change your link to

  P1_ROW_VALUE is the Page element that you want to set and 10 here is specific to the LINE value

  If you use the "links" section in the report attributes

• Passing the values in a row selected on a table to a region

  A jspx, I have a table that is connected to a VO. It has an attribute "Ndc" gives the word.
  
  In addition, on the page, I have a region that contains a bounded workflow that has only a single fragment.
  
  I have a text in this fragment input, which should show the value of "Ndc", according to which line is selected on the table in the parent page.
  
  I use this fragment in other pages, and I am able to get the value of "Ndc" to an input parameter, I put in place for the stubborn workflow.
  
  But when I try to pass a value that matches my attribute "Ndc" in my table, I get either an error, or nothing is displayed.
  
  Should what value I be sending to the stubborn workflow? And once I get it to work, it will be as simple as putting a partial trigger on my area (showing my table) in order to get the region to refresh with the value "Ndc" selected?

  Edit: So much worse, I didn't have a link put in place for my NDC attribute on my parent page. Once I did this and sent as parameter for the stubborn workflow, it worked.

  On a dashboard, I have a poster measure info bar chart by name each month (month name being on the x axis). The months displayed are based on a dashboard command prompt (year, month name) year-to-date.
  When I click on the bar of a month on the chart name, I use the Navigation target to open another query in the dashboard. The target a YEAR and MONTH "is requested. For example, if I click on 'MAY' bar, the other application opens to display data «CAN» Everything works.
  
  However, I need to do this not for the month selected as described above, but for the year to date instead. For example, I click on 'MAY' bar, I want the other application to display the data of 'JAN' thru 'MAY', not just 'CAN' itself. I'll do the same thing I have done to the request of the source, have a filter for the month number (not the name of the month) and have a 'BETWEEN 01 and xx' where ' xx will be calculated by taking the name of the month and using the number of months instead, so it would eventually "BETWEEN 01 and 05.
  
  Question: Is there a way I can pass the name of the month which was clicked on the chart and move on to the target, so I can use in a calculation and not the filter "is invited"?

  I'm on page 1 and passing the value of the item page P1_DEPT_NO. It is perferctly working very well and I am able to get the exact value of the element on the page

  I'm on page 1 and passing the value G_DEPT_NO of the Application element .
  The problem here is, I don't get the point of Application inside the javascript function value.
  I tried to use alert(); and it gives me the undefined value

  I just want to know, How to pass the value of the Application in Javascript element.

  I'm not a Javascript expert, but the suggestin I did was because the javascript is a case-sensitive... language and thats why onChange is not the same thing as onchange.
  Not sure if this is causing the problem.

  Application elements not associated with a page and have therefore no properties user interface.
  So, as mentioned in another post, the rendering would not work for the elements of the application.
  If it is for a single item, used only on this page, you might create a hidden page element and use it fo your goal
