  I stopped using the system restore, I found a better solution, for me, that's what I have to do.
  Then I noticed that several 'file system' 'type' was being created, 12 times yesterday, 3 up to today in the early hours of the morning and stored in they System Volume Information folder, anywhere from 30 MB to 2 GB.
  three of these file names 'file system' 'type' are:

  Yes, you can delete the system volume information data if not to use the system restore.

  I have the same problem with. Recording with my camera JVC Everio MOD files.

  The problem is that. MOD files. All thumbnails of film appears correctly.

  I have not had the problem on Windows 7, but my new 8.1 Windows based PC does not display thumbnails for previews. MOD files... but the other movie previews shows correctly. 'Show thumbnails instead of icons' is checked.

  Windows Media Player won't play .avi or .mpg files; files which I know to be readable by Windows Media Player. In addition, this program has played these accurate files in the month of August. The files are readable on other programs. I searched other forums, but it is impossible to find an answer to this problem, except the recommendation of a codec - although I don't know how I have "lost" the codec in the past two months. Today, spontaneously and erratically, Windows Media Player recognizes the .mpg files, but not the .avi. Microsoft Security Essentials have installed and up to date, if it is not a virus. Have problems in other programs with the recognition of previously readable files. Not sure if it's related, so I'll post in separate... forums but I'll give you a link if you want to. This has come with its own software for download from the camera, the mounting and so-called creation of DVD. I downloaded and edited my clips in a movie, but he refuses to burn to DVD.   I the280e plugin and go to my computer. The 280th says that it is connected. If the280e is present at all in my computer and I click on the
