  What?  Can you please rephrase your question in order to understand what you're asking?

  If you ask how a file on the remote site via FTP without FTPing any dependent files?  That the answer is Yes, you can do this by changing the SITE > dependent files: option in the PREFERENCES to enable the option "prompt on put/check-in."  The next time you download a file, you will be asked if you want to also download dependent files.  If you say NO and check the don't ask again option, then you will always simply load the file and not the dependents. You can change it back at any time by changing the preferences of this setting.

  The way I do now is to set a default value in the command prompt. But the problem is, sometimes, users will go to the command prompt, delete the default value & then run the report. This causes the report to do a 'select all' and slows down the reports.

  CArnold, David made several good points certainly make sure that we will solve the problem and not just the symptom.

  That being said, I just made a blog post here on a concept that could help you. Keep in mind, the method I describe works better with 10 or if the values. I've never used with 54, but it can work for you. The basic objective is that it shows you how to make guests from database check box. The method will force you to have at least 1 check box selected. But with 54 check boxes, it can be a little intimidating to users. I'll let you decide.

  Hi Anne,.

  It should work. How to add the link of action?. Click the icon + on the TreeView column in the criteria tab, lists all the columns in the hierarchy. Each column has its own column properties. Click on the properties of column-> tab Interaction Department hierarchy level and define your conditional action link.

The idea is to maintain consistency and save time of table design.   Yes - just change the name of the model table in the script (t_name = "table_template") then save this new transformation for later use.

  I don't know how to apply only some of the tables. Seems like something you could do to a secondary view level?

  Perhaps someone else on the forum can advise how to change the script to work on a subview only instead of the whole model.

  Hello, since I am a beginner to the reports. Can someone tell me what are the columns of the reserved space and how they are used in the reports? Where can I see examples of reports using the placeholder columns? Previously, I downloaded a pdf file of Oracle who told placeholder value column can be set in trigger prior report or using formulas. So, are they somehow like global variables in C, which can be used by all components of the report in the form of a variable binding?

  Yes, you could say so.

  We use a column of space reserved for the title of reports and any places objects on the margins of the report by assigning the appropriate values in the avant-rapport-trigger and then using the columns reserved space in layout.

  I have a selection list on an APEX at the apex.oracle.com page, and I would like to order by the value of the UnitOrder column.
  The SQL is:

  WHERE foodunit.foodid = :P18_FOODID
  ORDER BY foodunit.unitorder ASC;

  Of course, this code does not work. And since it's a selection list, I can't just add foodunit.unitorder to the SELECT statement. In addition, I can not get rid of the SEPARATE, because then for some reason, it tends to view an infinite amount of the same line...
  Order by UnitOrder is that all units that start with gram, mg, ml, kg,... etc., will be shown on top of the selection list. All other units of food will be shown on the second place and so on.
  The UnitOrder column contains 1 or 2 as the value. 1 is the value for all lines which should be displayed at the top of the list of selection, 2 is the value for the rest.
  
  So, what I want, it's all the lines in which the UnitOrder is 1, are displayed on top of the selection list. Usually only 2 list items get displayed in the list of selection at a time, depending on what food item a user has selected. The selection list is then refined to certain lines that match the foodid etc etc...
  
  If someone has an idea, I would be very happy to hear about it.

  I don't see a join between the tables of your foodunit and food. That would solve your problem of "endless amount"?

  Try first with the single report and a test if its working. later, you can implement for all reports.

  Create Measssure
  'Your_table_name '. "" PTD "= Somr calculation I SPR
  'Your_table_name '. "" QTD ' = Somr calculation I SPR
  'Your_table_name '. "" for a year "= Somr calculation I SPR

  Now you have 3 steps in the layer of presentation called ptd, qtd, for a year.

  Create a report format the column as 'Your_table_name '. "' @{var_mes} {PTD}" (ptd as defalut Messure) save the report.

  Now create the dashboard quick. In this Variable Prompt selection. In the right part of the presentation Variable as var_mes writing.
  Now, select list selection and custom values, select enter ptd.
  Select values enter qtd and again for a year...

  Now you have a presentation with 3 custom values, ptd, qtd CDA variable

  Save the guest of the dashboard.

  Put this guest of dashboard and report to the saingle dashboard. imitaialyy your report must indicate the value of ptd (coz you have default select ptd above in column e formula 'Your_table_name'.) ("' @{var_mes} {PTD}")

  Now wheh u change the command prompt, vraibale should go and maessuare should change.

  Force to leave Safari, then with the SHIFT key, restart Safari.

  We have a strange to show requirement AND/OR operators in dashboard and other guests. When the user selects AND filter must be a combination of AND and when the user selects OR to run based on this condition.

  For example

  We have country column and product in the command prompt.

  When the user Select Country and produced it should show products in this country, and when the user selects a country or product, you have to show this country or another countrry. How can I achieve this. Help, please. Thank you

  Create a variable prompt dashboard and choose its values only AND and OR and assign a variable presentation. then, in the report create a filter like the code below.

  Convert the SQL filter. Select any column and convert its filter in SQL. then write your column below replace the code

  Countries (@{PVC}) @{PvO} {AND} product in(@{PVP})

  PVC = variable presentation for countries

  PVP = variable presentation product

  PVO = variable of presentation for the operator

  I have a question about wild-card searches. I currently have a behind the scenes as to search for a string within a string...
  
  However, if the user wants to put in a wild card like '% report % AP... I would like to go back to all those who start with AP and relate to them - is - it possible using APEX? I currently do not receive all the records as the % is considered literally. As our users are used for Oracle, we will have users who will be key in a % when searching and we need it works!

  Ahh, one of us was on a red herring, sorry.

  Not accustomed to see double quotes, don't think that they are identifiers case-insensitive to column do not.

  Your original code

  Is the same as

  upper(report_desc) like '%'||UPPER(:P11_REPORT_SEARCH)||'%'
  

  Then you may as well write it like this, and then the winning cards will be interpreted as such.
