  When printing from the PIXMA iP4200 does print correctly (as with a green tint), the first step would be to ensure that the correct inks are installed and are in the correct order.  The correct order is:

  CLI - 8Bk black
  PGI - 5Bk black
  CLI - 8Y yellow
  CLI - 8 M Magenta
  CLI - 8 c Cyan

• Canon i860 64-bit, the network driver.

  I can't install this printer on my home network driver and the printer works. I downloaded (aomvstea23us.exe) Cannon, installed one cannot always connect to my network i860 printer. This printer is to connect to a Windows XP print server. Another Canon Pixma 4200 printer, connected to the same server, works well after I installed the driver to update Cannon for Windows 7, 64.

  If I take my PC to the printer and connect it with a USB cable, it detects the printer and everything works fine. If I try to add this Canon i860 printer on my network with my Windows 7 PC, I can see the printer, but I have this message: 'Windows update cannot find a driver on the network. If I manually search to find a driver, Windows cannot find anything.

  The envelopes option Q2438A sandbox do not support custom paper size, it only support sizes standard envelope listed on page 185 of its user below guide:

  A custom paper size envelope can only be printed from Tray 1, tray 2 or a tray of 500 sheets in option listed on page 62.

• OneNote hijacks my usb port and blocks printer inkjet Lexmark 4200.

  I am trying to use a printer ink Lexmark 4200 with xp pro and office Enterprise 2007. on a HP a365c. The usb port is monopolized by the onenote program that runs my impression rather than Lexmark 4200 onenote comand. The fax Lexmark 4200 is functional. I have not tried to send a fax via the computer yet but will be shortly. I just feed in the Lexmark 4 in one. I tried to disable a note with the enterpise office program, but it has no effect. There is a /slash of red circle at the entrance to Lexmark 4200 on the screen of the printer of the Panel control my XP. Does anyone have any idea on this? I don't want onenote on this machine, but it cannot go down. Another PC computer with an earlier edition of microsoft word etc works fine after reading the instructions from Lexmark to click 'Cancel' on the new hardware screen that produces the XP to start. I did it with this one, but nothing helped. The other is a Comapaq older which is my ACE in the hole. The usb port is occupied by the lexmark 4200. There is no Onenote on this machine.

  It seems that the printer is not recognized by the computer.

  He solved. The fuser unit teflon sleeve was ripped from this side. Ordered one on ebay with synthetic grease. You tube video shows how to install it.

  I unplug the USB cable, restart the computer and replugged the USB at the back of the printer.  No results.

• 4200 software all-in-one printer will not install in Windows 7

  I have a 4280 printer all in one that works very well with Vista 32 bit OS. I really like the interface of HP. I had a Dell with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit desktop computer. I was able to load without any problems except the printer.

  I downloaded the latest software of HP 64 bits for the device 4280. Installation takes place upwards the agreement "accept" screen and when I check the box to accept (name and c drive location, features to install, etc.) and then press the "continue" button disappears from the HP installation window. There is no reported errors or system events that I can find.

  I tried all the suggestions on the site of HP for Windows 7 with no luck. I found Windows 7 install a driver immediately once you plug the USB connection. Tried a new printer / I drive with no luck.  I tried Windows 7 32 bit with identical behavior that disappears. I tried safe mode and diagnostic mode in case something was interfering... same result.  At least antivirus and firewall have been disabled and nothing else worked. I even ordered a CD from HP with the same result as the downloaded program. CHKDSK and scannow will find no problem with Windows.

  I can run the printer and the scanner with windows drivers, but the interface, especially for the scanner is not functional enough. I get kind of work in a virtual XP environment, but it is very slow and a little less functional loading... vista vs XP I guess. In short not a viable solution. I could buy a new all-in-one, but I'm worried it will not install and this can become costly experimentation, not to mention my stock of the 4280 cartridge.

  I would really like to find a way to get the HP software to install. Someone has an idea?
