  As far as I know, there is no way for the owner of a schema privileges such as create objects, or drop objects in this schema to a user or a role.

  I know that a lot of people always asked if it is possible, and I hope Oracle will provide this capability, but as far as I know, it is not possible, even in 12.1.0.2.

  Does anyone have ideas on this?

  I considered to have developers to create programs to create tables, views, packages, etc. and then grant execute on them to the users/roles, but it would be a huge amount of work.

  Did someone come up with an easier way to do this?  Or know of a way that this can be done?

  Obviously, I can not grant create any table, index, package, view, etc., or to delete any table, view, etc., and of course we grant the DBA role.

  I thought that the 'become a user"was a solution, but it is apparently far from able to do such things.

  In our case, apparently, we have users log in with account of the owner of the schema and create objects, modify objects, etc.  (Change the objects is not a problem, because we can give everything on the object to someone.)   The problem is that we need to prevent people to connect to shared group accounts (or as the owner of the schema record) to create objects, drop objects, etc.).  We all have as their own user name and will not be able to create and delete objects in patterns of selection.

  I am very new to JDeveloper/OAF, I'm an online example how to create an entity object. When I right click, new entity object, the objects of database is EMPTY, I expect that my tables will be listed here. I have already created a database connection and tested it successfully. When creating the new workspace, I defined the DBC file, my name of user and password, the abbreviated name of the application and the keys, I also defined a new package. What else is that I'm missing? I saw when the definition of a new package, it suggests a format particular as name.oracle.apps.component.subcomponent.webui, it has something to do with my problem? Is this format that is posted somewhere? Why do I get a blank list?

  Solved. I just replaced with the version you originally downloaded .dbc files. I remember that I took off the APPS_JDBC_URL line (following a statement online for a problem I encountered earlier). No doubt this has solved the problem.

  Sure. A gradient mesh will have strokes. She will always be fills. If you don't want no fill, you must set the opacity of 0% unique mesh point.   We do not have an option where in you can place the button on the master page and the same applies to the pages where you want this button to appear, and any changes made in the design gets automatically apply to all pages, however, in this case, it is not possible to connect to different files as objects on the master page can be changed on individual pages.

  So, I'm afraid that's not possible to get the functionality you are looking for within the Muse, at this stage of development.

  I'm getting the following exception in the user interface when I click on submit button (/ commit or any other button) for date fields. I created the default objects entity and notices for the database table. I'm poplating the data after executing the "Execute" operation on the iterator for the view.
  
  Cannot be created with the value ' 22/09/2009' field object type oracle.jbo.domain.Date. +
  
  Even if I had not made any changes to the date also fields, it's give the exception message in the user interface and do not return the form.

  What is your version of JDev? And what technology do you use to model? BC4J? Can you try to change the format of the attribute in the object view? Say with the type of Simple date format and format "mm/dd/yyyy".

• Creating groups of objects on the ASA/FWSM
