Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

  1. When you receive the error message?
  2. Did you do last changes made on your computer before this problem?

Method 1

The question arise usually due to Corruption of DLL files in Windows settings. So, in order to analyze your health system, I suggest you run the file system (CFS) scan Checker tool to check any file corruption:

  1. Click Start, click all programs and open accessories.
  2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
  3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

sfc/scannow

For more information, refer to this link:

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

If the problem persists I suggest you to start the computer in safe mode with network and see if it helps.

Method 2

I suggest that you start the computer in safe mode with network and try running SFC scan again.

You can check the link below to start the computer in safe mode with network.

Startup options (including safe mode).

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

After starting the computer in safe mode with network try running SFC scan on your computer and check the status.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

Thank you.

First of all, as precautionary measure, update your anti virus and run a scan full to see if it detects and deletes everything.

Then download and install autoruns - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and use it to try to locate any references to SysMenu.dll and if they disable them. Delete at this point, then test again.

My computer has recently displayed an error saying not found C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\SysMenu.dll. The cause is that the AVG antivirus program had removed as a perceived virus. Thinking about this perception was wrong, I wrote the file in AVG exceptions box. Then I reset the computer with RSTRUI in the command prompt, a zero before release date when the error message appeared. He fixed it. My personal bat - and exe-files have been reset also, so I had to make the changes of the past few days again. Personal records are supposed to be unchanged by reset, but which does not apply to the program files.

I went to services and found symantic programs. They seem that they have taken and the performance of my computer.

There's more... So of course, I stopped all these services and rebooted.  I had to go into safe mode, restore did not work and I remember not even how I got my computer to work again.  It took hours.

I got a list of services and settings of Microsoft and went through all the new and reset to recommended.   When I rebooted, there was a bright yellow screen, my computer took a few minutes to start and it worked... but not internet access.  Only local services.

I run norton security tool and found this error message in my documents listed under ccErrDspLog

It is listed over and over again, and it's been long that I ran this program.   I also tried the norton removal tool and which does not work either.
So I restored again and now my computer works but still the high memory and cpu usage.

I know that this is not normal... Anyone know what it is?  I would just reinstall, a great fight, but not to big, but I want to know what it is and where it comes from?   Thanks for any advice.

First of all, autoexec.bat is not used in Vista. Try to use the Norton removal tool to get rid of all Symantec programs.

  • Error c:\windows\system\nvspcap64.dll

Hi, how can I fix this error c:\windows\system\nvspcap64.dll this started today and I can't seem to fix it with the system restore. Thanks in advance.

    Hello, NCC,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. When exactly do you get this error message?

The nvspcap64.dll file is usually the NVIDIA driver installed on your system. If the file is corrupt, you can get these types of errors of .dll. To diagnose the problem, I suggest you try the following methods:

    Method 1:
Step 1: start your computer with only necessary functioning services and a set of functional minimum drivers, called Safe Mode and check if the problem persists:

Step 2: If the system works fine in safe mode, try to clean the system starts to check the possibility of intervention of third-party software:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: See "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

    Method 2:
Try to run a scan of the file system (CFS) auditor to check any file corruption:
    i. go to Start, click on all the programs and open the Accessories.
II. right-click on the command Prompt in the programs list, and then select run in as long as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.
III. in the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow
For more information, refer to this link:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

    Method 3:
If the problem persists, then try to update all the NVIDIA drivers installed in your system and check with the question.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you

This error is related to the program "perfect effects 4"ONOne Software. It has nothing to do with Apple.

When trying to open Photoshop (I have CS5), an error message appears to tell you that the oncorefoundation7.dll is missing. The file is located in c:\program files\on a software\perfect effects folder and it should be copied and pasted into the folder c:\program files\adobe\adobe photoshop cs5(64bit).

OK, that corrects the error. Then, another error pops up to tell you that the ondocument7.dll is missing. Once more, copy and paste from and to the source/target previously specified files.

OK, that corrects the error. Then, another error pops up to tell you that the onproxysupport7.dll is missing. Once more copy and paste to and from the source/target records previously specified... and voila! No more error opening Photoshop.

Isn't this fun? Program developers should do this, rather than users. Fortunately, I can usually find a solution to these problems with relative ease.
