c:\windows\system32\muweb.dll
This request comes directly from my ongoing battle to Win 7 updates MS on my desktop pc.
Try another fix for the second time, I had to re - register via
Regsvr32.exe
various .dll files. Some were used by the system, but all existed within WINDOWS. But there was c:\windows\system32\muweb.dll. It is supposed to be in System 32. The .dll file was not anywhere in WINDOWS, and a search for my other pc which is not having problems with updated , has shown that he didn't, either. According to information from the Web, it seems XP and VISTA connections.
Any advice, please?

Norton 360 on my computer identifies this file as c:\windows\system32\muweb.dll, Version 7.6.7600.256, Microsoft Update Web Control. Why should I install this file, if it is a real file everytime I open Microsoft Update? Is not install that once is enough to still be log-ons on Microsoft Update?
Yes, it's legitimate.

I had to replace the \wship6.dll c:\windows\sysWOW64 file not the file c:\windows\system32\wship6.dll
I had to start Windows Recovery Environment, load the command prompt and replace the file c:\windows\sysWOW64\wship6.dll to a system of work w7 (I used an iso oem and 7zip)
( 1 copy the file in a place should be on my boot drive (c :) in my case))
2 . restart your computer , press and hold F8 as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you will need to start over; to do this, hold the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.
3 . Select repair your computer and press enter.
4 . Select the option for command line
type 5 bcdedit | find "osdevice" (note that there is a space after bcdedit and | and also find) that will tell you what drive letter to use to access your startup drive (d: in my case)
type 6 the drive letter followed by a: (d: in my case) and press enter , the guest must pass to < DriveLetter >: (in my case d:)
type 7 copy < your place should be > wship6.dll windows\syswow64\wship.dll (replace < your place should be > with the full path to where you place the file) (note the space between the .dll and windows)
If this does not work, you may need to replace syswow64 system32 in all the above instructions

ESA Viitala> Can I copy from another PC (not Toshiba) and it works on my laptop?
Hmm don't think this would work I would recommend to set the operating system to start point of time using system restore point or to use the recovery disk to reinstall the OS on the laptop and the laptop back to factory settings. -
Hello
while I was scene analysis antivirus on the laptop Satellite A300-15 b, my software recognized w c:\windows\system32\rpcnet.dll and rpcnet.exe as Trojans and deleted. These files are essential?
How can I get back them? If someone of you cannot answer, I'd appreciate any help.Hemoth
What anti-virus software are you using and have you updated to the latest list of detection of virus/trojan?
To retrieve these files, you can use the windows repair console, which can be entered by pressing the F8 key before the windows operating system starts.
Will take you to a list where you repair or somehow mode called option. If this does not work, you can try using recovery media.

A large number of users of Microsoft Flight Simulator in Windows 7 seems to be having the same problem, which crashes to desktop. In the thread following the removal of c:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll has been proposed as the "solution" to this problem: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproappcompat/thread/fb1808ff-92f0-478b-9826-f2ed6fbeae97
Assuming that it is indeed the case, is it possible with impunity? (or at least with acceptable suffer, keep in mind that a lot of people have invested a lot of time and efford - and money - in Flight Simulator).
You can rename it, and if you have any problems, then name again.Steve"PeterBDa" wrote in message News: 405ee0e1-30e8-4e61-a4a1-5ab2d7478cfc...No, the c:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll is part of Windows and should not be deleted or modified.
I appreciate it. However its seems that various people (many?) removed, and their system keeps going (and still works for Microsoft Flight Simulator), so this is appararently not essential. The consequence of not removing no seems to be not being able to use an application that you may have bought the computer to use in the first place. I hope that a response with a nuance more is possible.

Hello
I am running xp pro sp3 with MSE (v. 1.77.1038.0). I had CATrust AV until a few weeks ago. I'm on a domain network. We have not required WU to run all the time.I have issues with wuauclt.exe slow down my computer. All of a sudden, I hear the beginning of the computer running through the process and everything slows down. (5 minutes to open an email of 5 KB)
I * think * my problem is that there are 2 versions of wuauclt.exe & c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll on my computer. They appear as wuauclt.exe and wuauclt1.exe. wuauclt1.exe and c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll files are version 5.8.0.2469.
Running the MSE analysis does not turn to the top of any spyware. I tried just to remove the old version, but they appear immediately as if the registry grows this version instead.
After reviewing the record, I see that everything related to Microsoft.Update.AutoUpdate has two entrances:
That is to say
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.update.AutoUpdate
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.update.AutoUpdate.1Could this be the thing slow down my machine? If this is not the case, what would it be? If so how can I get rid of the duplicates offending (and shocking!)?
Thank you
IanI can assure you that Windows uses only the wuauclt.exe file now and it is quite normal to find a copy of wuauclt1.exe in %windows%\System32 <=this>=this> .
It is quite normal to find wuauclt.exe in the Task Manager. Processes tab shortly after starting your computer and so he can be executed for 10 to 20 minutes later (especially if Microsoft Update [1] is your source of default update).
That being said, the current automatic updates of running in the background has not such a detrimental effect on performance (e.g., 5 minutes to open an email 5 KB) when it is executed, unless the computer is low on resources (low power).
See if the boot minimum technical troubleshooting help you nail that other background process could contribute to the slowdown.
