C310a how you manually set an IP address?

Hey all.

Just got a new HP Photosmart Premium C310a and I try to implement on my home network (Verizon FIOS, Apple knots, Alesus, hard set IP Access Points). Alas, it only comes with WiFi.

So, I did the following:

* Add printers to the access point MAC address I don't want to connect to.

* Installed all the different Macintosh drivers/software.

* Launch the WiFi set in place.

At this point, according to the HP Network Configuration Page, I'm just happy and connected, but after everything, I'm not connected. Because I run NO DHCP, I guess that 'auto' printers configuring seeks IP info. So, I go to the façade printers and access tools - network - IP Settings. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, it always remains in automatic mode and does not have information IP to go.

How the heck to I disable the automatic IP settings and manually enter my IP Info?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

You may need to enable DHCP temporarily get the printer on the network.  Then:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the gateway and DNS white. Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

You can now disable DHCP and be on your way!

  • Setup Airport Express: how to manually set the IP address and DNS?

    I just bought an Airport Express for the wifi in the ethernet cable that I have in my dorm room.

    To connect to the internet via the ethernet cable, I need to enter a number IP, DNS, gateway and mask provided by the dorm (as I did on my Macbook).

    The problem is that I don't see where I can do for the Airport Express. After I plugged the cable into it, it keeps wanting to configuration alone, which does not work (he's trying to "join the network" forever, without success).

  • How you can set column headers

    Right-click on your desktop and select new folder. Open that folder and there is by default the column headings of ' name, Date modified, Type and size. When you are in music, images or any other type of file you now have the default column headings. My QUESTION IS how you define these positions for all records in a group. For example in a folder of music files the following is the headers by default. Name, artist, Album, #, type and rating. I would like to; Name, Album or artist, length and Type. I would like this to be like that with every record. I have to go into each folder and make these changes?

  • How to manually set my screen resolution

    My OS is Windows Vista Business
    My graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 3650.
    As far as I can see, they are incompatible.
    I'm really fed up after more than two years of distorted on my screen content.  This is best illustrated by photos

    the viewable area of the screen is 17 inches x 10.5 inches.  It is a ratio, as close as d * 5:3.
    CatCC ATI had before 1280 x 960 or 4:3 and, of course, I looked fat in my pix (no comments please!)
    So I put it 5:3.  It is why photos should now be good... but now I look emaciated, like something from "Roswell".
    Why?
    It seems that I need something like 1280 x 800, but no such resolution is offered.

    CatCC ATI offers resolutions of only...
    report 4:3 - i.e. 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1152 x 864, 1280 x 960, 1380 x 1050
    ratio of 5:3 - 1.e. 1280 x 768, 1380 x 1050.
    ratio 5:4-1280 x 1024

    On Windows XP, it has been possible to set the resolution manually.  Now I can no longer do.
    Is this a result of narrow programming Vista OS, resulting in limited options?
    Or Dell just gave me the bad graphics card?
    As it is, I can't have nothing to realistic appearance on the screen.  This is ridiculous in our technical age.

    Is there a way to get around this?
    Or am I finally stuck with a square that will always look like a rectangle, regardless of the resolution, I have chosen?

    concerning the will

    Hello

    If you upgraded from XP to Vista or you bought Vista preinstalled, you check with Dell to see if there are Vista compatible drivers.

    Dell provides drivers and Dell does not include material on buy operating systems pre-installed on their computers or cell phones, if it's not compatible...

    If the graphics card is pre-installed as part of your Dell with Vista preinstalled OS, go to the Dell site and download the last Grapghics / video / Chipset for your computer model and operating system drivers.

    http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriversHome/NeedProductSelection

    Or look at the AMD (they own ATI) website.

    "Change screen resolution".

  • How to manually set the end point of my sequence in the window of the exporter? (Newbie question)

    Hey guys, I think it was easy to do in older versions of first, but I'm not sure.  In the export window, I want to put the final point of the media that I export manually.  All I can use is the small triangle on the right, but that gives me no details.  Curiously, I can manually enter the starting point in time code, but not the end point (it is unclickable).

    Thoughts?

    Thank you!

    In the export settings dialog box, drag the playhead to the intended to point, and then press 'o'.

    Firefox does not have an e-mail it is strictly a web browser, so it has nothing to do with an address book.

    If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • Unable to set the IP address and the DNS servers manually

    I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with SP1 on a Lenovo ThinkPad. The problem is that whenever I connect to my home LAN I can not put addresses IPv4 and DNS servers manually. Once I got close and open network and sharing Center option 'obtain an IP address automatically"is re-selected.

    I tried to set the IP address and DNS servers by entering the control panel command in administrator mode but the problem persists. The problem with the automatic configuration of IP addresses, is that my ISP DNS servers are slow, resulting in a slow internet. I also tried just setting DNS servers leaving windows automatically get IP addresses, but that did not too.
    I appreciate any ideas as to why this is happening and how ressemelable this question. Thanks in advance.

  • How can I set up an automatic transfer of all incoming emails to an external email address?

    While I'm away from the office, I would like to send any email to an external address. How do I in THUNDERBIRD?

    You can set up a filter to forward the e-mail to the external address, but this would require that TB is running all the time. A better solution would be to have mail downloaded to an account which is accessible when you are away from the office, for example using Mail Fetcher with a Gmail account.

    Of course, if the account of the office can be configured as an IMAP account, then mail is accessible from any device that the same account is set up as IMAP.

    It depends on if you have the external address.

  • How can I manually set a column PK during INSERTION

    Imagine I have the following table.
    CREATE TABLE &MYDB_Schema_Name.."EXAMPLE"
    (  "ID" NUMBER(10) NOT NULL,
       "Col1" NUMBER(10) NOT NULL,
       "Col2" NUMBER(10),
       "Col3" NUMBER(10)
    )
    TABLESPACE &MYDB_Schema_Tbs;

    ALTER TABLE &MYDB_Schema_Name.."EXAMPLE"
        ADD (CONSTRAINT "EXAMPLE_PK" PRIMARY KEY("ID"));

    CREATE SEQUENCE &MYDB_Schema_Name.."EXAMPLE_ID_SEQ" INCREMENT BY 1

    BEGIN
    SELECT &MYDB_Schema_Name..EXAMPLE_ID_SEQ.NEXTVAL
    INTO :NEW.ID FROM DUAL;
    END;
    Normally I would do for the integration
    INSERT INTO &MYDB_Schema_Name..EXAMPLE (Col1, Col2, Col3) VALUES (1, 2, 3);
    But I have a requirement that I need to manually set the value of KP. So something like...
    INSERT INTO &MYDB_Schema_Name..EXAMPLE (ID, Col1, Col2, Col3) VALUES (100, 1, 2, 3);
    How can I achieve this? I know that MSSQL has SET IDENTITY_INSERT < table name > ON, Oracle has an equivalent?

    Greetings from King,
    Toby

    I don't think there is such thing. But you can change your trigger to achieve

    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER &MYDB_Schema_Name..EXAMPLE_ID_TRIG
    BEFORE INSERT ON &MYDB_Schema_Name..EXAMPLE FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN
    IF :NEW.ID IS NULL THEN
    SELECT &MYDB_Schema_Name..EXAMPLE_ID_SEQ.NEXTVAL
    INTO :NEW.ID FROM DUAL;
    END IF;
    END;
