  This is a printer-scanner-copier.  I can't get my scanner to work.  It will print and copy very well.  I have the basic print and scan driver installed.  I don't have the full feature version.  It was scanning fine until I restored the hard drive on this personal computer & it wiped out everything.  I had a program called HP Photosmart Essential installed & now I can't find how to download & again to install the program because I do not remember where or how I did it.

  I just inserted a new black ink cartridge.  Whenever I want to print something I get an alignment page first, every time.  Just a waste of ink.  How can I fix this.

  my hp Pavilion 150 desktop card of (windows 7 I think) does not work.  printer hp photosmart c3150 was connected to the desktop and the router.

  Because the hp desktop computer is not working properly, I cannot use the printer via the desktop, nor professional connected wifi lenovo thinkpad laptop (windows vista) or the dell laptop (windows vista). The hp desktop is broken and I disconnected the printer to the Tower line and connected via USB for lenovo thinkpad. After the failure of several attempts to print, I used the hp software troubleshooting, which directed me to download the printer driver and reinstall. I did it, plug the device into the usb port when realized. When I try to print a document in word turned off the laptop lenovo (is no longer the wifi connected to the printer, but lasts connection via USB), the printer starts on page, seems to be printing, but the page is empty.

  At some point during the realization of the driver install the message appeared that _? is not supported by windows vista.

  I downloaded the driver for wifi unrelated photosmart c3150 printer for vista 32-bit and installed, the short version, I also did the same thing for the version full... same results.

  I have the above printer.  When you try to load images to Picassa seems to have blocked the SD card too far into the printer.  It didn't load the photos and the SD card will not come out of the printer.  Please tell us how to get at least the card back because I need photos.  Thank you.

  I see you have a SD card stuck in the all-in-one HP Photosmart C3150 printer. To be honest, there is no support measures to help with the removal of this card. I would say that if it is large enough to hold the tongs into the slot, you can power off the printer and use tweezers to guide the card out of the printer. If it doesn't, the only other thing I can think of is to disassemble the printer. Because it is a consumer quality printer, there are no instructions that I can offer to remove the device to access the SD card.

  I would recommend that you give our queue of Technical Support service by phone call. The Technical Support queue can be reached at 1800-474-6836. Normally, when you contact our Technical Support queue, you will be directed to fill out a form to Contact support on the HP website. After that, a phone number and folder number will fill for you. However, due to the age of your printer your product displays as obsolete and not entitled to phone support. Please dial the number manually. When you hear the automated voice and invites you to revisit the site of HP to fill the Contact form, please ignore this. After 5-10 minutes your call will be routed to a technician. Please explain the issue to the technician to see what can be done to address this problem.

• Multi-page scanning with Photosmart 3150 and Mavericks

  I recently updated my OS from Mac to the Mavericks (OS 10.9.1).  Before this upgrade, my Photosmart C3150 printed and scanned exactly as I wanted.  I could scan a multiple page document and save it as a .pdf file successfully.

  Now, when I scan a document of several page and try to save it in .pdf file, I get an error message that says: "an error occurred registering the file because it could not be written in.  Check the properties of the file to ensure that it is not dead. »

  I don't have this problem if my digital file is a single page .pdf.  I tried to use the send to preview or send to the office, and the same problem occurs.  Sometimes when I try this, the HP Scan, the application hangs and I have to use Force Quit to close (but not every time).

  Really can't wait for scan documents several pages in individual files, one page.  Any other suggestions on how to overcome this problem?

  You can open the analysis option in system preferences and analyze the many elements from there rather than using HP scanning.

  I just put a new printer cartridges, both black and tricolor. Impression levels register as high, but the black ink will not print. I have had no error message. I did the troubleshooting thing where I cleaned the printheads 3 times, but he has not made a difference.

  You can print wireless through my home network to the C3150 which is connected to my desktop running Windows 7.  Our other laptops in our House are running Windows 7 and Windows 8.  Thanks for your help.

  I have four 4 HP printers, a Laserjet 1300, a Color Laserjet 2600n, an all-in-one Photosmart C3150 and an Officejet 5510 all-in-One. How can I print all (everything would be nicer) from my new Windows RT surface? I seems silly to buy a 5th printer.
