  I have an AIO C6180, top of the scanning glass is clean, but the undeneath the strange dust or streaks looming in the analyses. I unscrewed the 4 screws on the top, what else should be removed for it out and clean the bottom or inside this glass? I don't think it can be pryed up at this point with just these 4 screws out, I don't see what other way to remove it or where, there must be a way.

  I cleaned the glass, put it back in, screwed it all to the top and the DONE.

  I have to do a complete uninstall of my printer, because when I try to uninstall from the Control Panel, or the cd, it does not completely uninstall! Then, when I try to re - install, no icons are visible! and I am unable to view or change the print settings, scan, copy or fax. I tried uninstalling and re - installed from the site, also.   Since you have an HP computer, I would say that you uninstall to level 3.

  Level 4 uninstalling will remove all traces of the HP software, which can eliminate more than you want to, especially if you have an HP computer. I suggest you do a level 3 uninstall as follows: load your driver CD and navigate to the directory util\CCC on the CD. There will be a series of commands, uninstall_L1.bat by uninstall_L4.bat files. I suggest that you run uninstall_L1.bat, then uninstall_L2.bat, then uninstall_L3.bat.

  I suggest that you do not run the uninstall_L4.bat file.

• Failure of sistem ink C6180 all in one

  I have a hp photosmart c6180 and I have an error message when I want to print, it says ink system has failed, unable to copy or print, error: 0xc18a0106

  Typically when you get this message, it is because the print head is clogged, died, or needs reset. For this printer if the print head is clogged and a cleaning solution Center will not solve the problem, or if the print head has turned off, the only thing you can do is replace the printer. There are a couple of resets that you can do to try to reset the printer. I'll give the instructions for both below.  There is also a document that you can run through.  I'll link below.  Let me know what happens.

  An alphanumeric Code (example: ' 0 x 'r' C2...) ") or 'Ink system failure' Error Message is displayed on the front panel when printing

  To do a hard reset:
  1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
  3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
  4. wait for 30 seconds.
  5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

  To make a partial reset:
  1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
  3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
  4. wait for 30 seconds.
  5. plug the power cord into the wall, but do not connect the printer.
  6. press 3 and # buttons.
  7. while now buttons, plug in the printer.
  8. when the lights come on, release the buttons.
