  It depends on how you shoot the Sun.   You're focusing a lot of energy in the body of the camera, and this can generate a lot of heat.  I have a friend who observed with a safe solar filter attached to its scope... but another Member (unbnownst him) not clipped the front cover from the dust of its solar 'finder' scope.  When he did the scope at the Sun, he immedaitely broke the sons of the cross in the finder and in just a few seconds he burned a clean hole in the rear Cap (imagine if your eyeball is trying to address the issue.)

  The filter was made by Thousand Oaks Optical.  These filters are really intended for use in the put telescopes can be put on the camera lenses.  For a filter to be safe for the human eye, it must dismiss 99,996% of the Sun's energy.  These filters actually block 99.999%.  They come in glass, a film 'RG' and ' Noir '.  Film noir is recommended for use with camera lenses, because the glass and the RG film resemble an opaque mirror and the 'mirror' like finish can cause undesirable reflections in the lens of the camera.  The 'black' movie will eliminate (or certainly reduce) all reflection.

  Your camera came with a disc?  Have you installed?  Since it is a device of Olympus, have you asked them?  They alone are responsible to make their devices compatible with Windows, not MS.

  It's just the way the Q5 displays pages. The Z10 and Z30 screens will fit to the page for their screens, but the Q5 isn't, I guess.

  Other that the pinch and zoom, you just have to look at the displayed pages as they are now.

  Remove the battery and press down on the lens of the camera, you can feel a click.

• Best way to zoom/pan images on top of background video

  Situation

  Hello world

  I want to be able to have a background video (in this case fullscreen snowflakes) and an image slide show more than 75% of the video window.

  The slideshow would use zoom/pan knobs to control to create a ken burns effect.

  Complication

  Using animation keyframes scale and the movement is almost impossible to have the window stay in the same place and the image circulate inside it.

  So, I need to find a better way.

  Options

  One thing, I thought to do would be to somehow drill a hole in the background video and make transparent, and then pan and zoom of the image below.

  I think it would be kind of an elegant way to do it, but I do not see how to punch that hole.

  Questions

  1. am I on the right track or I'm matter it is more complicated it must be because I missed a few magic function in CS6?

  2. If I am on the right track, what are the steps to make the hole and fill with transparency?

  There are ways to drill this hole, but it shouldn't.

  Just put the video that you want to appear in the hole on a separate strain. Let's call him 'Pan '. Then pan and zoom on stills like Ken Burns autour. Then, he just go back to the main sequence, call the 'Hand', with snowflakes and enter the "Pan" sequence in the project as if it was a clip. Drop it on the timeline on a track above the snowflakes, and then use the scale setting in the effect of movement to scale down and the position parameters to put it anywhere you want.

  found. I don't know if it existed in previous versions, but it is in the comments list Options drop down menu > Preferences commenting. Commenting on the category, first field shows police comments and size.

  I use the native camera application and in general, it seems fine. There is only an annoying problem.

  The only way to zoom (that I could find) is by repeatedly moving the two finlgers in the expansion of gestures and this zom is SLOOOOW. If I want to "get" something good and you only have a few minutes for the padding of furious finger, I break a large photo and I hope I can photoshop the relevant part out of it.

  Is there a way to solve this problem in the app native cam? Or do I have to install another app cam - as is, and also how I link to the cam button?
