  Manager of calculation rules are stored in the table CALCMGRRULES of the RDM and BODY field if the type is a BLOB.

  If the rules have been made to the planning application, they will be also in the HSP_CALC_MGR_RULES table and field BODY which will take place in XML format.

  If I run the calc script to aggregate a BSO cube, it blocks and release each block in a few seconds? Or is it keep held locked blocks even after aggregation for this block is over?

  For example if I correct sparse dimensions Forecast, FY15, dec.  and my accounts dimension is only dense, after calc has my senior level members in the accounts, it it will issue after updating (i.e. in fractions of seconds) or is agg keep it held in a lock?

  I ask because I want to run scripts tot., but there is the update of our cube users.  I never had a problem to start agg, while users are updating.  But maybe I am lucky.  If a user updates a closed block, they will receive an error message that I think.  They may try to update again after a few seconds, I hope.

  It is certainly theoretically possible that a user can obtain a lock because of a calc, although I can't say I saw him be a problem in real-world applications (perhaps because access uncommitted is the default).

• Use of substitution in the calc script variables

  Hi all
  
  I create a calc script to recalculate my cube BSO for a given date, when I load the data in one night (for the previous day). I have a process that defines a variable substitution SELECT_DATE that load data rule uses to select the data in the source transactional system.
  
  However when I try to use that in my calc script it seems to like it - by script seems reasonably simple can anyonce advise on where I'm wrong or another method?

  If I replace it & with "21/03/2011' SELECT_DATE it checks OK.
  
  Please let know us, using a CALC SET begins to take too long to run quietly all night.

• Stop calc script when it retrieves in excel

  I have a strange error. I run a calc script and can see the transformation by looking at the Task Manager in Windows. However, when I recover this database, the calc script stop to run. Anyone know what is happening? I was able to realize that the data base is with the locked state. Are there settings to avoid it?

  When you say stops running, you hear the ends of calc script or that it freezes and does not calculate something else? If it's the latter, then prehaps when you retireive, you put in the update mode in your options to lock the cells until you are finished. You can check this by going in EAS/AAS and seeking the locks (not locked objects). If you lock cells the Calc should wait for them to be released so that he could continue.
  If you mean the calc script ends, I can't answer because I have never seen it before

  I've recently upgraded to firefox 35, after this upgrade, whenever I log on tumblr, I get this "java script application error too much recursion" and they come in 4 (I have to click on each one on top of the other). I am able to connect and do my normal stuff, but whenever I move to another page inside of tumblr, the same java script error appears and I have to click again to make them disappear.
  This seems to happen only on this website (tumblr).

  It was in fact TrueBlock 2.0.2. I disabled it and my problem is now gone. I re-enabled it and it pops up. Thanks for the reply. He started me in the right direction.

  the problem is the flash player, not firefox. To solve the problem:

  1. to go to a site with a flash video, such as youtube
  2. right click on the video and select "Global settings", this will open the configuration flash drive Manager
  3. click on the advance tab
  4. under 'data navigation and settings', click 'clear all '.

  That's it, you'll notice wil firefox run smoothly once more. If after a while firefox slow to respond again, just do the same thing to fix. Good luck!!!

The only way I can use Firefox is with the default settings, which disables the AVG SafeSearch. Can I get the taskbar of the AVG and 16.0.2 to work together? Any help, greatly appreciated.

  Since updating to 10.0.2 I get a ridiculous amount of script errors. It happens usually when you try to load a video from YouTube, even if not on YouTube and embedded on a forum. The browser everything will freeze for about 40 seconds and then a script error will pop up saying a script on the page is not responding and stop script or continue. No matter who I choose, the browser will then freeze for another 40 seconds, then the YouTube video will load... slow and ended up playing.   Finally, I fixed that by running the uninstall program flash from Adobe, I have downloaded, restart and then reinstall the latest version of flash.
