Calculate, simplified field Notation - last field: sum fun

I have a 'calculate' / "Simplified field notation" which adds 33 areas: Sum1, Sum2 + Sum3... + Sum33

It works great, except that the Total never includes the last sum-field fill. I can fill in two fields Sum or all 33. It does not matter. The Total field reads less sum-LastPopulated (Sum1 by SumX).

I can encourage them to meet this last sum-field by completing another sum-field. I didn't fill a sum with a number field, to pick up this last entry of the sum. I can add a [space] within a field of sum to pick it up; still a [space] after an existing entry on the sum: fortunately.

Any ideas on how to encourage 'Calculate' to include all the fields on the populous sum, without my work around?

Thank you!

Fields of the sum have calculated their own value? If so it is a question

with the field calculation order.

    Question #1

    I am taking a total total of a series of 14 numbers and multiply this total by 25%.

    I've done research on how use calculation tool "Simplified field Notation" However when I type in what others told me to type nothing happens.

    Here's what I've been hit by

    TotalBid *.25

    This script is back nothing in the field.

    Question #2

    I have a list of areas in which data can be transferred. For example:

    Unit1 unit Price1 Total1

    UNIT2 unit Price2 Total2

    Unit 3 operation3 Unit3

    I've implemented simply calculations using the option "Value is (product) of the following fields" and it works fine.  My question is if for example there is no entry in Unit2 and unit Price2 how do I get the Total2 field to stay blank.  Right now it's showing $0.00 and I would total fields to display only a number if there are data entry in the fields of the unit and the unit price.

    The problem is most likely that the field calculation order is incorrect. To fix it, go to the forms editing mode (forms > add or edit fields), and then select "forms > edit fields > set field calculation stopped... '. »

  • Calculation of field - sum fields will not check

    Hello

    I have trouble getting Adobe Acrobat X Pro (10.1.16) to calculate a field.

    The fields I want to summarize are all formatted in numbers (in dollars), but when I created the 'total' field automatically calculates all the others, I can't click on the check box next to the fields that I want to do the sum. "Select all" selects all "deselect all" deselects all but when I click on the individual check boxes next to the titles of field, nothing happens. Double click does not work. Saving, closing, reopening does not work.

    I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

    This is a bug. Use the space bar or click a little out of the center of the boxes for them.

  • Calculate the fields do not work

    I am relatively new to work with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, JAVA Scripts, and PDF files. Though this may seem like a question of newby. I have a PDF file that has tons of fields which are populated under control of a database of the program. When the PDF file is made in my view to MVC, PDF rises and the fields display the correct values, but the fields that contain the total values are all zero (0). These calculate the fields I'm went to properties, calculate tab and then set the value set is (sum +), then chose the fields to be added. to test this, I put the default values of the fields to a 1 and on the ground, I began to calculate the sum shows the correct number. Then, I saved the PDF file and moved in my MVC file. When I run the program and say to the PDF, the PDF is called, values are met, and the PDF file will be displayed on the screen. Filled in all areas have the correct values but the field calculate display zero (0).

    The PDF file. You embed it in the form of script at the level of the document through Advanced - Document

    Treatment - Document JavaScripts.

    Make sure that it is not in function, but...

    You must write a custom for this JavaScript calculation because you cannot add a number any date. Also the date strings are not just a number, even if we can convert a given date in a number for that date that represents the time form a date date (Epoch). Witn this value, we can achieve them all kinds of date calculations and collect a little information about the date. JavaScirpt uses midnight on January 1, 1970 UTC for starting point or the date of the time. Its value is zero, and every millisecond increases the value of 1. When a date string is converted to the date object JavaScirpt we have access to many properties of the date and can use several methods to extract information or adjust the date object.

    Field 1 is in the format "Date" with a format of "mm/dd/yy".

    Field 2 is in «Number» format with 0 decimal.

    Zone 3 is in the format 'None '. The custom calculation script applies to the formatting.

    The custom for JavaScript calculation area 3:

    var cField1 = this.getField("Field_1").valueAsString;

    var cField2 = this.getField("Field_2").valueAsString;

    Event.Value = "";

    If (cField1! = "" & cField2!) = "") {}

    Console.println (cField1 + "" + cField2);

    calculate that if we as no null data;

    var cDateFormat = "mm/dd/yy";

    convert start date date object.

    Kai var = util.scand (cDateFormat, cField1);

    get the date of the month;

    David var = oDate.getDate ();

    Add field 2 number of days;

    David = Number (nDate) + Number (cField2);

    of being updated for the new date.

    oDate.setDate (nDate);

    Set the field to update formatting;

    Event.Value = util.printd (cDateFormat, letter);

    } / / end of data not null;

    It is slow when you use functions like this in query

    I don't know how you like it as one more example of

    DECODE(DECODE(SUBSTR(T,1,7),'FY11 OU','OK','NOK') || DECODE(BH || SUBSTR(AL,-3),'YREC','OK','NOK'),'NOKOK','OK','CHECK')

  • Level 0 of the simplified field Notation does not

    Hello

    I want to make one of the most fundamental operation in a form.

    I have 2 fields only, whose names contain only letters.

    I would like FieldA is equal to the FieldB * 5.

    So I go to the tab to calculate FieldA, select simplified rating field, click Edit, type "FieldB * 5. (without the quotation marks), click OK...

    and the tab calculate always indicates "the value is not calculated.

    If I use the "value is the sum of the following fields" instead, just to see if it works and select FieldB, then after you click OK, the "Value is the sum of the following fields" is checked, but nothing appears in the box below. If I close the edit and enter a value in FieldB, nothing changes in FieldA.

    These seem to be the most basic things you can do, and they obviously don't work.

    Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

    Thank you very much!
    Nicolas

  • JavaScript to calculate a field value

    Hello world

    I'm trying to write a small javascript to calculate a value in field based on another field value, similar to Denes Kubicek example on the next page:

    http://HTMLDB.Oracle.com/pls/OTN/f?p=31517:71:3928458344147956:no

    My model is:

    Champ_1 (source of calculation). Champ_2 (calculated value)

    The calculation is as follows:

    Champ_1 X 2 = Champ_2

    Of course, I'm a newbie to JavaScript, but I need help.

    Thanks in advance for your advice!

    Charles

    Hello Charles,

    Depending on the number you use you must don't like Dene fact (use of tank and getVal Parse).
    But that would be a very simple example: $x.value ('P1_FIELD2') = $v ('P1_FIELD1') * 2;

    Kind regards

  • calculate the field of vision or the focal length of harvest

    Is there a way to do this or a plugin that someone knows?

    (If you have a shot at a 14mm but you crop to the center of it, it would be good to know what is equal to the equivalent focal length of culture)

    Set the Info Overlay to show the new cropped dimensions. In the case the simplest where the aspect ratio of the culture is the same original image, divide one side original by the culture to get the crop factor. If the original is from a full camera frame, the equivalent of 35 mm. long focal length times the crop factor. If the camera has a sensor that is less than 24 x 36 mm, the total of crop factor is crop factor of the camera times the factor of culture "in LR. So, if you have a Canon 7 d, which has a sensor 5184 x 3456 pixels and a factor of 1.6 harvest and crop you the image to 2592 x 1728, the crop factor resulting is 3.2 and your 14 mm lens. will take the field of VISION of a 44.8 mm lens. on a 35 mm camera.. If the harvest of LR has an aspect ratio different that the original, the equivalence is, of course, different for the height and width.

  • If statement to calculate the field

    I have a somewhat complex formula to calculate on a form. In English, the formula is the following:

    (Population served - 10 000) *.05 + $400

    With $400 is the amount of base if anything equal or lower to 10,000 should be only $400

    Here is the javascript code that I have on my property. It works fine when I get home, '1', '9000', '450', but if I enter "5000", it returns a value of $150. I'm really confused by what is happening if I must be missing something in the code:

    var a = this.getField ("Population");

    var b = this.getField ("PopulationTotal");

    b.Value = (a.value - 10000) *.05 + 400;

    If (a.value < 10000) {event.value = 400 ;};

    The fundamental error in the coding is that the result should be compared with $ 400 and not the numerical value of the population.

    Try this line:

    Event.Value = Math.max (400, (400 + ((a.value*1-10000) * 0.05));)

    and leave the fourth line on.

    This would lead to the right numbers?

    Hello

    CASE expressions can filter data in specific columns:

    SELECT     SUM ( CASE
                WHEN dt >= ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
                             , -3
                             )
                AND dt < ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
                             , -2
                             )
                THEN qty
               END
             )          AS third_month
    ,     SUM ( CASE
                WHEN dt >= ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
                             , -2
                             )
                AND dt < ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
                             , -1
                             )
                THEN qty
               END
             )          AS second_month
    ,     SUM ( CASE
                WHEN dt >= ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
                             , -1
                             )
                AND dt < TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')
                THEN qty
               END
             )          AS last_month
    ,     SUM ( CASE
                WHEN dt >= TRUNC (SYSDATE) - 30
                AND  dt <  TRUNC (SYSDATE)
                THEN qty
               END
             )          AS last_30_days
    FROM     table1
    ;

    You can do this with GROUP BY, in addition, if you want to separate for each itemname (for example) lines.

    I guess some things, like what do you mean by the last 30 days.

    If you wish to post a few 9creation TABLE or INSERT sample data) and the results you want from this data, then I could test this.
