calculation of the subtraction in RTF model

I'm working on a purchase Oracle XML Publisher report (Oracle E-Business Suite R12) which begins with a budget amount that is imported to our financial system, and then lists all applications and orders that are being (unlicensed).  Unapproved all these requisitions/order amounts are totaled using a form field sum, followed of a field where no approved requisition/order total is subtracted from the budget amount (amount available).  This is the code I used in my form for the amount available field:

<? xdofx:BUDGETAVAILABLE-(sum (EXTENDED_COST))? >

When the report is run, all fields are correctly filled, except for the quantity available - lists the initial amount of budget, it does not subtract the sum of the cost extended.

Note: The formula that calculates the total total cost field successfully is <? sum (EXTENDED_COST)? >.  This is where I got the second part of my formula.

I found the solution:

    I think your results will have 1102 pages (one page separated by major) for all major XML data?

    You must use @section. so your for each should be as below

    and remove the page break before for each end.

    If you can share the email I can send the updated model.

    It seems that the problem is with the working directory of the BIP Office.

    If you have administrator access to the computer, please do the following:
    1 Windows-> Run-> regedit

  • Problems with highlighting of the rows of the table through RTF-model

    Hello!

    Peace im new in the world of BI Publisher. For the moment, I try to create and RTF-model with the Office AddIn for Word Bi-editeur (2010). I want to create a table based on a table of a pdf document existing already. I have all the data in the right format and order and just worked fine - until I wanted to change the background color of some specific lines.
    If I add that a statement such as

    <? If: Variable = "Expressionstring?" > <? attribute@InContext:background-color;' #FFFF80 '? > <? end if? >

    the context of the evolution of the entry. But the fact the line height. It develops. The expressions more that I use more it grows. That of not good, because the table is so great that it only fits on a single page with fine lines... I tried to apply a height specified in the line through the word, but it does not work.
    I searched a couple hours and still didn't find anything regarding this problem. I appreciate any ideas how to solve this problem.

    Yes, you can conditionally format individual cells.

    Take a look at the guide (link provided) and looking for 'highlighting of cells:

  • With regard to the RTF model: enter the commands in your RTF model

    Hi all

    I read the Oracle Documentation saying: "entry of the orders in your RTF model."

    I tried to look at this one, I have a requirement.

    Really how can I enter the commands in RTF model. I didn't get this one a lot.

    Any help is very appreciated as always :)

    Thank you
    Xavier

    Well, my OPE user's guide did not have the mentioned pages but I watched this guide: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12844_01/doc/bip.1013/e12188.pdf

    and given the documents, you need just to include controls in a form field in the foreach loop for the element you want to split the document by... You could insert a form field and then double-click the field, go to the properties of Word-> add-> the status bar help text and change the code following the instructions in the guide.

    Hope that helps.

  • How to perform the subtraction

    I created a mileage reimbursement form using Adobe 10 standard (Adobe X Standard).  The form has an engine Total Miles field, another field for Miles of the home port and a field that must be the difference between these two.  I do not see a calculation for the subtraction function, so my question is double.  One, how can I get the domain to perform the mathematical function and two, how do I know the field is no to enter negative numbers?  I imagine it'll be a custom script that will be loaded into the properties of the field on the tab calculation, under the area of calculation script, but I don't know what would be this script.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks to everyone for their help.

    Mileage Reimbursement Form Snip-it.JPG

    You can use this code as the custom calcluation code of the difference field:

    var totalMiles = + this.getField ("Total Miles Driven") .value;

    var homeMiles = + this.getField ("Home Base Miles") .value;

    var totalMiles = diff - homeMiles.

    If (diff<0) diff="">

    Event.Value = diff;

    AFAIK, you can't repeat the page output to Excel headers using RTF model.

    Excel page headers can be repeated for each page using Excel template.
