  Is attached a screenshot of Mozilla Firefox 42 on my Windows 7 PC. I like having the bookmarks bar, but want to remove the foreign text following at the top of the sidebar:

  1. the word "Bookmarks" immediately under the top left of the sidebar bookmarks bar
  2. the word "Seek" and next to it search engine
  3. the words "Personal bar" in the search window. (Even if I hold the toolbar of bookmarks with links to those sites that I visit often to be visible. I just useless the 'personal bar' on the box.)

  You can hide the line with the tag of Favorites and the close icon and the search by the userChrome.css code bar, but you can't hide the bookmarks toolbar because this entire content consists of a single treechildren element.

  Often the sidebar is hidden. It can be restore to see, and then the Favorites are missing. People have reported this problem on line since 10.11.0

• A particular Web site tab always opens in the left sidebar

  Opening in the sidebar is the default value for the bookmarks created via a link or a button on a Web site.
  You can view the properties of a bookmark using the context menu in the side bar (Ctrl + B; Command + B on Mac).
  In the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) you can click on the button more in the lower details pane on the right.
  Make sure "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.
