Calendar bug?

Given that I've updated my phone to 1.0.3 my gmail calendar has stop working! When I go into the preferences and accounts to manually synchronize calendars, I get an error message saying: incorrect password (email address). If I click on the google account, and he said "You have no calendars enabled for this account.". I click on change connection settings to change the password and the password length is 6 characters (my gmail password is 10 characters). I change the password and click on connect, and it brings back me to the screen of the google account with the message "You have not enabled for this account of calendars" with the buttons 'Edit connection settings' and 'delete account '. I clicked on change connection settings again to check the password, and reset the password of 6 characters. I deleted the account a few times and added. When you add the calendar to return I enter the email and password and it displays a message 'sync with google' and the full 'google sync' message, but I still get the same error as above! I took out the battery and tried everything again. I even checked my google calendar online and all events, as I walked to my pre appear. I'm really frustrated with her right now! Anyone have heard/had this problem?

Also, in order for me to update my phone, I had to do a partial erasure because whenever I went to check the updates, I got the error message "Unable to connect, please try again later". (I have EV and wifi)

Update: I found the solution in another part of the forum! I eventually finished the steps below. For step 3, I only did a partial reset. I've lost all the contacts that I entered the phone manually. From here on out I put all my contacts in google.  All my apps came back and there is no need to update to the software was last updated. I hope this helps someone else who has the same problem!

"I had exactly the same problem & after a few days & headaches has found the solution. The problem is with the automatic backup of Palm, it's a problem because you set up properly the first time & now it is incorrectly backup. In this process, you will LOSE all your data out of your Gmail account, as memo and tasks you thrown down. You must remove your backup information.

1. make sure that you note any information you entered in the Meadow (Memo and tasks, etc.). All Gmail like Contacts, calendar, and messaging data should be OK since it is online.

2. go in utility backup and the TOWER THERE, he invites you to "delete backup data", select Yes.

3. go to "Device Info" and reset the unit, you don't have to do the FULL reset. The device will reset and restart. At this point, you are exactly where you started when you just got the Pre. Your Palm profile DOES exist but is empty at this point because you have disabled it.

4. Enter your Palm profile information & let it charge. UPDATED 1.0.3 software before continuing.

5 IMPORTANT!  Enter your E-MAIL information front of Contacts/Calendar! Let the sync. Once completed, when you go to Contacts and calendar - your GMAIL account should be already there, simply press 'Done' and it will synchronize. You can now enter all other accounts of e-mail/Contacts/calendar you like...

This problem occurs when you enter your GMAIL info first Contacts/calendar, instead of Email. Because of the automatic backup - this problem does NOT disappear when you reset the device (because it loads your bad settings back once again). It is important to delete the automatic backup, then the device & essentially start from scratch.

Because ALL my data has been/is with Gmail - it was not too difficult. However - device, Memo & Task info, downloads of Application & settings settings have been lost. Write this info before the erasure of the device, told me everything of 30 minutes to deliver that data in.

    Report a bug with my new Z10.  Fairly easy to reproduce:

    1. Go to "calendar".
    2. Click 'Add '.
    3. Click on the 'Starts' falling down
    4. Farm of "calendar".

    I tried to restart the phone, but same result.  This works if you change a date, but not to create a new appointment.

    I have a request, main language Application = "French (Canada) (fr - ca)", language of the derived Application of = "Session".

    I have a translated application, mapping language = "English (Canada) (fr - ca).

    When I run a page with a calendar in the french request everything works well, but in English, previous, next or today buttons does not refresh the calendar.

    I was able to reproduce it in the sample on apex.oracle.com database Application:

  • Synchronization of calendar bug? Synchronization events do not if they are after January 20, 2012?

    This had me conduit nut and I * think * I have finally narrowed it down.  I was initially blame calendar Touch which I installed it. But that out of the equation and using the stock calendar widget that's what I find.

    If I get a calendar from 20/01/2012 event, him refuses to the event to get syn would be in the calendar on the Droid X...  The event (s) appear fine in Google Calendar and my local Outlook - simply never make it to the phone.

    Anyone able to replicate this?

    All future events is entered on the phone synchronize with Google and stay on the phone too.  However, from my experience of the events entered on the Google calendar via synchronization only Google site with the phone up to a year or less.

  • ISE 1.2.1 support for Yosemite?

    Hello everyone, just curious. I see in the release notes for ISE 1.2.X that support for Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) was available via patch 12 on the train ISE1.2.0 of the code. That said, I see nothing in the release notes indicating support for Yosemite for any patches for ISE1.2.1, the latter being patch 3 released 1 week after ISE 1.2.0 patch 12. Please can someone tell if Yosemite is based in fact on 1.2.1 with patch 3?

    OS X 10.10 is supported in ISE 1.2 p11, 1.2.1 p2 and 1.3.

    Patch 12 for 1,2 and 3 Patch 1.2.1 fix other issues for OS X 10.10, and I recommend you to update on the latest patches for these fixes.

    Here is the entry in the Release Notes detailing the fix for 10.10 to 1.2 p 12:

    MacOsXAgent versrion 4.9.5.3 should be used and MacOsXSPWizard 1.0.0.30

    Note that the description of these files refer to ISE 1.2 Patch 11/12, ISE 1.3 release and above.  ISE 1.2.1 is not mentioned, but follows the calendar bug fix and version 1.2, with an adjustment.

    Patch 1.2 10 = 1.2.1 hotfix 1

  • Calendar Apple App Bug frozen works only with iOS 10 update grrr

    Since I updated to iOS 10 (more more later than 10.2, etc.), everything was not too bad except THE APPLE CALENDAR app, its deiving me crazy when I click on the app it's like it freezes and past shift x 50 mode still something to do with the calendar app will cause either a frozen or a black screen or white and then crashed ack to main menu. Sometimes it will allow me to create but will be trolling with typing and finally crashed or not even save it... Please HELP I am sure what else to do, I tried to download google calendar and which seemed to have something of bug he loves too then something happens. And I tried to delete it and download it again, / force delivery, nothing has changed

    Thank you for bringing your question on the calendar of freezing and trolling since the update to iOS 10 on your iPhone for Apple Support communities.  I rely on the calendar to keep my life organized, so I'm happy to help you resolve this issue today.

    Looks like you did a few good troubleshooting by force to leave the app, force to restart the iPhone and deleting and reinstalling the application calendar.  At this stage my next recommendation would be to backup your iPhone, then erase and restore your iPhone as a new device, then test calendar to see if it behaves correctly, and then restore your backup.

  • (BUG) Problem creating events of the calendar in the past (IOS 9.3.1)

    Recently, I get such a problem:

    1. I opened a last date in the calendar default ios

    2. create an event:

    -put the name of the event 'Accident '.

    -day 17 April 2016

    -start time 16:00 (end time 17:00)

    -all other attributes - default:

    calendar by default (have also 1 calendar personalized in a list)

    No rehearsal, no trigger time, no participating, call back in 30 minutes

    * a tried also the attributes of different event with the same effect. Didn't help not also choose my google calendar. tried several times)

    3. Press 'Add '.

    wait: event created, appears on that date and remains

    get: event appears and disappears in about 1 second

    What could be? Can help you with this? What IOS Bug?

  • Bug: Repeating Google calendar events appear on bad days

    I created a Google calendar event that repeats 'Everyday', two daily, from 18:00 to 18:30. It shows in my Google Calendar, but PRE calendar puts on bad days. For example, the repetitive event that should be scheduled for today shows up tomorrow (offset + 1 day).

    I tried to turn off-grid time zones, but the bug remains.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is a bug, how can I submit it to Palm?

  • Multi day Passport BlackBerry calendar events: Bug or feature?

    I have a three day event.

    The month view shows the event only on the day of departure, that the other two days are not marked.

    In comparison my 10.2.1 device (Z10, Z30): all days are marked by the appointment. And also in the color of the calendar, on 10.3 all appointments are gray.

    It's supposed to be a new feature, or is it just a bug?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Bug report: appointments that disappear in the calendar BlackBerry (Android)

    I have a writing a bug report on the BlackBerry (ver. 1.3.1.11404) calendar application for Android, running on a BlackBerry PRIV STV100-2 with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

    This bug is reproducible 100%.

    Synopsis: Zero minute appointments disappear to weekly view and the view of the calendar day when the zoom level is decreased enough, if the appointment of zero minutes is followed by a longer appointment.

    Steps to reproduce:
    (1) create a new appointment with the identical to its start time end time (for example, start at 09:00 to 09:00).
    (2) create a second appointment the same day from 30 minutes later, a period of one hour (for example, start at 09:30 to 10:30).
    (3) the day in day view or week view.
    (4) pinch-zoom in and out. The first appointment disappears from view when you zoom in enough. It reappears when you zoom in.

    Note: The use cases for the appointments of zero minutes is to store the reminders.

  • Rom1.2.1 calendar still has Bug - "this event don't exist anymore." (only for repeat well events)

    Upgrading to 1.2.1 solved many problems on my pre, including one-way sync with Google Calendar.

    But there is still a bug.

     

    Whenever I hit a recurring weekly or monthly event on the Meadow, a message bounces upward "this event no longer exists."

    Everything else is fine. For example, I can add new weekly/monthly events on Google or pre and they sync very well. Also, I can edit events at Google at will. Events not repeated works very well in all aspects, etc.

    Ok. I think I identified earlier bug, after many tests of course...

    Repeated events to meet with this bug ONLY when they are repeated forever, in a Word, if you set "until what MM DD YYYY", it will be ok.

    I had changed all the events repeated on my calendars, set repeat until 1 January 2015. Then, after a sync, all are accessible on the meadow.

    It is not correct to say that the only daily/weekly/monthly events have problems. Now, it may not be clear that the only problem is webOS does not handle the Google Calendar calendar for always repeated events.

    Hope this is useful and you guys at Palm can try and solve (this is still a bug, is it?) in the next update soon. Thank you very much.

  • BUGS: Pre calendar treats Saturday 1st title of 2nd Saturday, brings also 3rd Saturday as BYMONTHDAY = 21 (but the migration is apparently not)

    After having closed the thread of questions related to migration of DTA, I discovered a new failure in the Pre calendar application.  It's using DTA 1.1 and WebOS 1.1, only syncing my Palm profile.  The next of VCALENDAR record is in my migration.mig file (I changed the incorrect initial INTERVAL 1 interval = 12 =):

    In this case, the initial event occurs on 21/08/2004, which is the 3rd Saturday in August.  Note that August 2004 starts on a Sunday, which I think is German for this particular failure.  This means that Saturday, August 7 is the 1st Saturday in August, not the 2nd.

    The migration process initially placed the repetitive event on the thing to the day in 2009, namely, Saturday, August 15, which is the 3rd Saturday.

    However, I don't have a five-day-advance alarm today (Monday, 10 August 2009) on my pre (but I had one on my Treo 700 p, which has all my old data calendar loaded on him), so I went to the event on Saturday, 15 August 2009 (where the migration process had placed) and opened it to inspect it.

    First of all, I noticed that there are a set of alarm for five days in advance, so I opened the property repeat monthly custom and found that it was set to 'Every month on the 21st [sic]', 'Every 12 months', ' repeat until that Forever. "  It was clearly wrong and does not match the date at which the migration process had placed the event for 2009 (Saturday, August 15, the 3rd Saturday in August 2009).

    Even stranger, when I slipped back monthly custom property page repeat (why is there not a Cancel option to get out of these pages without modification?) he must have accepted the 'change' of ' monthly on 21st [translation] "because the event disappeared from where the migration process had placed (August 15, 2009), and it showed on August 21, 2009 , instead.

    At this point, I thought that I could access the event initial (21 August 2004) and change the 'monthly on 21st [sic]""monthly on the 3rd Saturday.  That's when I discovered the 2nd (probably related) bug: were the only options available in the event of 'head ':

    "Daily".

    "Weekly".

    "Every month on the 21st [sic]" (enabled)

    'Every month on the 4th Saturday' (!)

    "Each year the [translation] 21 August [sic]" (geez, it would be really hard to be grammatically correct, you think?)

    So, I reached a dead end.  Saturday, August 21, 2004 is clearly not the 4th Saturday, but apparently the Pre calendar program does not know that (again)!

    In summary, I documented two bugs:

    (1) the "RRULE:FREQ = MONTHLY; RANGE = 12; BYDAY = 3SA"clause contained in the migration.mig file has been munged (it's a term of scientific programming)"every month on the 21st [sic]. "  I don't know if this has been done by the migration process, but it seems unlikely, because the migration process apparently placed the original recurring events on the appropriate dates.  Only after opening one of these events and inspect the property to repeat monthly custom (and getting caught by the Pre Calenar 'feature' of not being able to leave inspecting the property without modifications) made the event move to 21 of every August, as indicated by the property of repeat incorrect on the monthly of custom.

    (2) for an event that starts on Saturday, where the month starts on a Sunday, the timing of the front (but apparently not the migration process) is a 'one stop' error and suppose Saturday, March 1st (7) is the 2nd Saturday, and so on.  In the particular case of August 2004, Saturday will eventually be numbered 2 to 5.  I don't know if this is repeated with other days of the week, or what might happen if a particular month ends with the 2nd to 6th (!) a few days of the week to manage.

    Anachronistic, PDAGuy, can we bring this to the attention of the Palm development team, please?

    After the upgrade to WebOS 1.20, these issues seem to be resolved.  I could go to the entrance of the 'head' and correctly choose the 3rd Saturday in August, every 12 months, and it now appears the correct days in the following years.

  • Thunderbird does not open menus or new messages * bug 1211291) SOLVED associated calendar

    I use Thunderbird, I think that the latest version (impossible to verify), on a Windows 7 PC.

    I use Thunderbird for my email every day, without no problems so far. Today, I opened to the Thunderbird splash screen (before entering the Inbox or other folders) and couldn't reach the actual emails in my Inbox. No matter what I clicked, it turns right on this screen. I was able to access my Inbox by right-clicking in the Inbox and open it in a new tab. I can't open the option menus or help, clicking on them just does nothing. I can't open a new message, it contains as the menus (does nothing). For some reason, I can always open the 'accounts '. I closed and reopened Thunderbird, I stopped and restarted my computer and the problem persists. Can anyone help?

    Looks like some other users see

    1. open tools | addons | Extensions and remove addon of lightning/calendar
    1a. If you can't go to addons, then start thunderbird in safe https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode mode and try again)
    1B. If you are still unable to addons, reinstall thunderbird http://getthunderbird.com/
    2. restart thunderbird
    3. reinstall Lightning/Calendar addon - if you need the features
