  You can go to Device Manager and disable the graphics card from there and then make the changes in Lightroom preferences.

  Open Control Panel

  Click on Device Manager

  Right-click on GPU under the graphics card.

  You must have the latest version of iTunes (12.5.1.21). If no updates appear in the Mac App Store, it means probably that it's only available for future versions of Mac OS X, or as it is now called macOS.

  You just bought a new IMAC. It came with OSX El Capitan 10.11.1. I used Time Machine to restore all my data and information. All deferred fine, and all my software works very well. EXCEPT FIREFOX - Version 42.0. He hangs up with a white screen at startup.   I recommend that you update to a new Mac OS x as El Capitan(free on the App Store) the Mavericks isn't a good solution even with top configurations. At least this has worked for me. I got a macbook pro retina 16 GB of ram with the mavericks before but then it is updated to Yosemite to El Capitan it runs like butter.

• Help! C7280 wireless not connect to imac with osx 10.4

  Here's my problem: my imac does not print with my new c7280 via the wireless network, but will my MacBook. But it's more complicated, the imac will print a page of test very well, everything said the link is fine (force), until I try to print, say, a word document.  When I do that the queue specifies the ip address of the host is busy (i.e., the IP printer)... except that it is not busy.

  I checked and re-checked all network settings and they are all correct. I deleted the printer off my imac and re-established.  I have everything set up automatically, and then re - configure manually, then re-re-set up automatically again.  I did this several times, think I just missed something.  I even deleted all drivers / programs hp off and re-installed them.  Nothing seems to work - all this while my MacBook work well, instantly and without any configuration complex.  I read on the review of "macrumors" during the so-called c7280 works very well with the Tiger, the printer must support extra driver... that is, as opposed to lepord which integrates the drivers. Maybe I'm not "having the right drivers or is not configured right?  Who knows, nothing on the site of hp support said nothing about it.

  It seems to me that it is a software issue becaue as 1) my MacBook to fine print and 2) the imac will print a test page fine, every time.

  Here is some info on my network: it's just a small home network with a router.  My imac is connected to the router (instead of connecting wireless).  My c7280 is connected wireless to the network.  I use DHCP with a WEP encryption.

  Have you tried to reset the Mac printing system (see this link)?  Do carefully because it will remove all the printer queue on your Mac.

  Also, I guess you can browse internal web page the printer, right?  You can do it directly from Safari by clicking on the icon of Hi Favorites on the left side of the Safari browser and selecting the printer.  Alternatively, you can navigate directly to the IP address of the printer.

  You need to find help from Apple (or anyone here familiar with the upgrade could occur along) to guide you through the process of upgradiung your system if it's possible, but the key is that you can't install the CC software on a system of 10.6.

  Try to copy the contents of the dvd PS on the desktop and try to install.

  If still the same problem with the dvd player, then you might want to copy any other machine that has a working dvd drive and then transfer these files on a USB key and try to install PS CS6.

  Lightroom 4 does not use a download manager for downloading.  If you encounter a problem launching the download then I recommend trying another web browser.  This is probably due to put security, add-on, or installed the plug-in.

  Recently, I went from an iMac end 2006 (installed 10.7.5) to a new end 2013 iMac (with el capitan) using the migration wizard.

  My new iMac literally crawls at the start: before being "usable", it takes all five minutes to present the elements of office and start (I only dropbox, 1Password, Alfred littlesnitch enabled and I cleaned all the startup and user logon items old and systemic); After this the iMac works very well, even if it's not lightning fast I must say (looks like a little lag is present for each new task: opening applications, files and so on).

  As soon as the iMac starts a time machine backup is started automatically.

  I used etrecheck and nothing significant has shown and also one of the @linc scripts used to test the system (unfortunately, I'm not really able to fully understand the results, but perhaps that something is 'locked'...).

  Console is spammed with messages, especially at startup but projector not only in regard to, mds, xpc...

  I will post any other relevant information as requested, if anyone is willing to help.

  Without posting actual results Etrecheck and/or Linc-script, nobody will be able to guess what is happening.

  Calendar hangs with the message 'Moving of the calendars on behalf of the server.  Have you tried a force quite unsuccessfully.  Calendar is syncing with the iPhone, but nothing can be added to the iMac.

  Please stop calendar and also the application of reminders, runs. Force quit if necessary.

  Back up all data.

  If you synchronize some of your calendars, or reminders with iCloud, then in the iCloud preferences window, uncheck that marked calendars and reminders. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to remove your iCloud calendars and reminders of the computer. They will always be in iCloud. Re-check the boxes.

  If you synchronize agendas or reminders with another network such as Google service, please open the Internet Accountspreference. Make a note of the settings for calendar accounts, then delete and recreate.

  Launch schedule and see if there is an improvement.
