• Calendar two-way sync blackBerry smartphones not

  BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.7 informed me there was (4.5) updates to my Blackberry Curve 8330. I downloaded & installed the updates on my device; However, his calendar is therefore more two-way, synchronization with Outlook 2007. Initially, sync told me that he had a number of Outlook calendar events to add... This actually created duplicate on the device. I checked synchronization has been set for two lanes, removed duplicates and re-sync... She wants to add the events again. I let him, but he had no overlap.   I backed up my camera and erased his calendar items in the backup restore & > Advanced Options... no luck. I uninstalled Desktop Manager, version 4.5 (from the CD that came with my camera)... no luck. I have re-installed Desktop Manager 4.7... no luck. I have not eliminated items in calendar again... no luck.

  I use the Blackberry & Outlook 2007 only - no BES. I only have a calendar on the device and a calendar in Outlook. Address book information synchronizes perfectly every time; I does not synchronize e-mail or tasks.

  Anyone have any suggestions for the restoration of the two-way Calendar synchronization between Outlook & Blackberry?

  Contact Bell Mobility support, who advised to wipe the Blackberry. This solves the problem.

  I'm not a great tech, but I have some skills good enough for a girl, if I say so myself... but I'm so frustrated... I need help.

  This is my first public post... So I hope that I give all the information but who will help, if I missed something, please let me know.

  Here is some background info:

  I have a BB "BOLD"

  I use it NOT on a company (network)

  I sync my bb with my dell

  Windows Vista (UGH!)

  Outlook - Version 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001

  My calendar and my contacts are the most important reason, I have a bb

  My contacts are FINE

  My schedule is a MESS

  I have 2 separate email addresses work well my bb... For the purposes of his post, I will refer to them as

  [email protected]

  When I do appointments in my work calendar, I do one of 2 things to get all my appointments on the BB

  Plan my gmail as a participant in the designation address or

  Prior to the appointment to my gmail from my work email address

  When I make an appointment directly from my BB I do it by selecting Menu > new = my default settings of the account gmail under the 'send '.

  BB News:

  When I'm in the calendar and select > Menu.Options > calendars > I have 3 options

  Default device that has (157 results)

  [email protected] who has (429 entries)

  When I go to the Menu > Options > Advanced Options > Services > (CICAL) by default is [email protected] , it shows that I have options to select my Gmail or my .mac address

  That is the problem - it did not used to happen, and I frankly did not know that my backup was messed up so I don't know how long this is happening.

   

  When I sync with Outlook

  There are only 518 appointments that are synchronized

  I can't get the other 157 (defect of the unit) + 429 (mac) to sync with my outlook

  Can someone help me to get them all on my gmail calendar? or in my outlook so that I can then sync back with the BB

  I will not sync my bb with my mac

  Here's what I tired:

  • Yelling at the computer
  • Yelling in Spanish at the BlackBerry
  • ignoring the two
  • I stopped myself to throw both of them against the wall.

  I put the BB Desktop Manager to perform a one-way synchronization > bb to outlook = NOTHING only synchronize gmail

  I changed the (CICAL) to my mac address and synchronized = NOTHING - only synchronization gmail

  I am at a loss and would appreciate any help.

  We will remember and then on MAC records.

  Outlook contains records of 158 of the associated Gmail Calendar.

  The calendar by default folders must be cleared and restored to the associated Gmail Calendar.

  The Blackberry associated gmail calendar resulting will be then synchronized with Outlook to add the former default records

  resulting calendars synced to Outlook and Blackberry.

  Reading this, I propose more than once. Method 3 is what we do.

  Help! A couple of days, some of my text messages start to duplicate.  If I delete one I'll delete them all and I don't want to do that for some, nobody knows what I did to cause this and how can I stop the double and triple messages about the same thing?

  Am sry but it seems that the only solution is to delete all text messages... I tried google n other BB forums and, unfortunately, could not found a satisfactory solution to your prob...

  Probably, this could help-Try your BB battery pull reboot and then try to delete a single text message.

  I just moved to a new PC (ex: Sony Vaio with win 7 pro, outlook 10 pro > new: duo of vaio from sony with win 8, Outlook 13 home office 365). I used to sync outlook contacts and calendars with blackberry and iphone and ipad on my old laptop using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

  Now with my new PC, iphone and ipad are always works well and they synchronize with outlook: new entries on the outlook calendar and new contacts are added to my laptop and vice versa, but when I connect my Blackberry "BOLD" I n get the updates.

  I confirm that I use the latest version of the desktop manager 7.0.

  My organizing Office Manager is configured to sync both calendar and contacts

  Any idea please?

  Right now, you can make contacts with google.  You can synchronize all (calendar, address book, memos, and tasks) with yahoo via the Desktop Manager and the USB cable.

  Short story - I have an 8830WE and I use BIS to sync my e-mail address.  Until 2 weeks ago, I was using a 3rd party service called BlackBerry Sync to sync my calendar and contacts, and he worked smooth as glass.  Unfortunately, BBSync went, the service was down and he doesn't look likely to return so I'll have to resort using a USB sync, I tried in vain to do that for the last three days.  I agree to make changes and will sync on and suddenly gets about 1/3 of the way by a neck and closes unexpectedly.

  I uninstalled BlackBerry Sync, turned off sync to Google Calendar (that I used as a last resort), uninstalled Google calendar sync, everything to nothing is done.

  Is it possible to reset the calendar on my Blackberry and start over?

• Calendar Outlook 2007 for blackBerry Smartphones

  I have a Blackberry Storm using Blackberry Desktop with the latest version.  I use Outlook 2007.  I had no problem syncing up to today.  I put the Office to receive the data from the handset to the Outlook.  It worked fine until today.  As of today, the calendar of the handset data does not transfer to Outlook.  All data in Outlook calendar is deleted, but nothing is added.  This does not happen with addresses, tasks or Notepad.  The only change I made was to change the e-mail account by default from one to the other on the handset.  When the synchronization has failed I went back to the default value of old mail.  That did not help.

  This condition is present with my office and personal computers. Suggestions?

  The situation has been resolved by contacting Technical Support of Verizon.  I've been instucted to go to 'options', 'advanced options' 'service book' and delete the two files CICAL.  He then sent the and when I did a synchronization, the data transferred correctly.

• Calendar of transfer cannot blackBerry Smartphones: Palm Treo for Curve 8330

  I helped my husband spend his Palm Treo 600, Palm desktop use, again BB Curve 8330. A seller has transferred name and Tel #s only.  I managed to spend most of his Palm in Outlook and Outlook with the BB synchronized.  Now, the only problem seems to be that the calendar is not synchronized on for BB. Suggestions?

  I tried to synchronize the configurations of setting different ways: to synchronize calendar only, or all to ask Outlook to substitute the device and two-way.  Nothing to get the calendar the BB, even if all its addresses and tasks are there now. Help!

  Yes, install the main e-mail on the Blackberry address to match Outlook.

  On the Blackberry, you get a calendar for each e-mail address that you use.

  Alone can be synchronized with the Outlook calendar.

  You can e-mail Outlook, tools, options and verify that the default account.

  Then on Blackberry from the home screen, options, advanced options

  I've just updated software Desktop (worm 6.1.0.35 Bundle 34) and all of a sudden it says calendar is not installed under the calendar Sync.  It was up to this installed upgrading and assistance on how to get it installed back.

  When I add an appointment in my hand which was held under my calendar (by default), it will in my work pc when I sync to outlook?  Can I reset my syc on blackberry desktop settings?

  Reset will simply be you back to square one in the configuration of the synchronization of DM.  This will allow you to start from scratch to implement e-mail and Outlook calendar synchronization.  You said that you were not able to set up the schedule, then maybe reset is the way to make it work.

  I managed to mess up my calendar on my Curve 8520 trying to synchronize with both home and work Outlook calendars and, in order to start over (and do it properly this time!) I need to completely clear my calendar on my curve (that is, delete all calendar entries).

  Is anyone aware that if there is an easy way to achieve this without deleting the entries one by one as I am unable to find a "Remove all" option anywhere?

  Is there a way to stop my blackberry to reproduce all of my sent messages? I'm going crazy with the volume. If I'm at work during the day and send emails, a copy is sent to my blackberry and I am constantly having to clear them.

  Finally, I figured this out and hope it's the best solution. None of the other suggestions worked, including following the procedures described in the user guide.

  On this web site, I created a filter: it is applied when the field "from" includes my own email address.

  If someone has a better solution, I'd love to hear it, but this prevents at least my office to send my copies of device of dozens of emails I send every day at work.

• Contacts of duplicate of blackBerry Smartphones after the upgrade to BB OS 6.0

  I now for all my contacts duplicate entries on my BB Bold after my upgrade to the new surge of software for my phone. I don't have duplicates in my Outlook contacts after the initial synchronization after the upgrade of the BB OS. When I remove one of the entries on my BB and synchronize with Outlook on my PC, the corresponding Outlook contact is completely removed. I have tried to delete the first contact of the pair on the BB, then sync and tried to remove the second of the pair on my BB contacts, then sync. The results are the same. The contact in Outlook on the PC has disappeared as a result of the subsequent synchronization.

  First make a backup of your phone (I guess that the duplicate contacts is better than no information at all in your phone).

  Then, using Desktop Manager, clear the database of Contacts in your phone. Then, perform a one-way sync from Outlook to your phone.

  See if that does not straighten him right up. If something goes wrong, you can restore the contacts of the backup that you created, and you are to where you started before you try my advice.
