I have a VO based on entity object. With a column of the VO is transient attribute (I created).

I need to call a stored procedure for each row in the transitional attribute and display the data in the form of af: table. As well as other attributes.

So can anyone suggest how can I achieve this?

I think that you need a stored function (which returns the value) in this case, is not?

    Hi, Andrey,

    I suggest you use 2 triggers:
    (1) A FOR EACH ROW trigger, as you described, to collect relevant data and store it in a temporary table overall or variable poackage. Whenever the trigger is activated, it will overwrite all the data from the previous row.
    (2) AFTER ( NOT FOR EACH ROW) trigger that calls the procedure by using the saved data.

    That I don't understand. You allocate space for 3 pointers ub1 but I don't see where these pointers are then initialized to point to where the data is to be stored.

    There is more than one way, for example:

    Generate ViewRowImpl Java class (with generate audited accessors) you will get for an attribute setter.

    Change the Set accessor to set the attribute B (IE, calling setAttribute ("B", value)) after setting a value

    OR, write valueChangeListener for inputText representative and set the B attribute to the same value

    I have looked around and cannot know what the problem is.
    Calling a stored procedure in Oracle 11g of Java 6.

    Here is my code:

  • How to invoke Web service for each row of a result?

    I have an application that has a report on my old system tables. But for every line of this request, I have to go to Oracle EBS and return a value. The simple approach would be to create a link of database between these 2 databases, but for reasons of security in my company, which is not allowed. So, I built a Web service based on a PL/SQL function stored in the database of the EBS. The Web service has been tested and it works very well. This webservice takes 2 parameters, and returns a number. I would like to call it for each line of the report query result, the parameters passing the columns of the query. Is this possible?

    No, I suggested me not to use UTL_DBWS. Flex-ws-api is... Jason Comment should I say... much more flexible, functional and reliable.

  • Problem call Oracle10g stored procedure (bug?)

    Hello everyone, I'm trying to call a stored procedure Oracle on Oracle 10 g XE of Java.
    I can successfully run the query to Java, so I can't tell what driver, connection,... are very good.
    I have the following error when I try to call a stored procedure or a function.
    I think it's a bug OraClient10.Dll file, so, in general, a bug that depends on my code. So I install the latest version of the JDK/JRE, and I download new folder OraClient10.Dll but the result was the same.
    Please help me!

    Why not just connect via thin mode of the driver, not the mode of the OIC?
    You will get all the features and no risk of native code bug.

    Hi all
    I'm new to APEX. I did a search on this forum, but could not get an exact answer.
    I know how to call or execute a procedure from a button. as to create a PL/SQL anonymous bloack and partner is key.

    My question is a little different. I have a report with 11 columns. the last column shows just "delete" for all lines (I did it in my request to report as SELECT x, y, z,..., 'remove' AS delete). When I click on this cell for any line (this column can be a hyperlink or any clickable element), I would like to call a stored procedure that takes parameters as values in columns 2 and 4 for this particular line.

    for example, my report looks like somethnig like below,

    FILE_ID MEMBER_CD ACTION
    112 ABCD Remove
    WXYYZ 113 remove
    114 PQRS remove

    I want to click on the 'delete' in the first line which should call a stored procedure and pass of 112 and ABCD as parameters to the procedure.

    I now have the procedure as a process. sturggling to link this column to procedure but without success :(

    You can call a procedure or function of apex. It depends on what you want to do with the function or procedure. If you want to retrieve table data in a specific area, you can try something like this-

    The following statement creates the function get_bal on the oe.orders of sample table (PL/SQL is in italics):

    CREATE FUNCTION get_bal (acc_no in NUMBER)
    RETURN NUMBER
    IS acc_bal NUMBER (11.2);
    BEGIN
    SELECT order_total
    IN acc_bal
    Orders
    WHERE customer_id = acc_no;
    Return (acc_bal);
    END;
    /

    The function created in the previous example can be used in a SQL statement. For example:

    For each row, use the count property of cells. Since there a number of subject lines is the number of columns.
