Call; Phone number to text or call

When you click on the button, I want to give the user an option, what to do with this phone number: call or send a text message

Button {
    text: "Call"
    id: phoneNumber
    onClicked: {
        invoke.trigger("bb.action.OPEN")
    }
}

attachedObjects: [
    Invocation {
        id: invoke
        query {
            mimeType: "text/plain"
            data: "+38640111222"
        }
    }
]

I don't know what mimeType should be for this action, and if I went completely the wrong way.

Also as an easy way to achieve this:

In your appUI.cpp / hand, include:

#include
#include

You must add the LIBS +=-lbbdata to the. File Pro.

Add these lines to register to the system.phone and access it from QML:

    qmlRegisterType("bb.system.phone", 1, 0, "Phone");
    DataSource::registerQmlTypes();

Then in the QML file:

import bb.cascades 1.0
import bb.system.phone 1.0

Page {
    Container {
        horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Fill
        verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Fill
        Button {
            text: "Call Me!!"
            onClicked: {
                phone.initiateCellularCall("0038640111222");
            }
        }
    }
    attachedObjects: [
        Phone {
            id: phone
        }
    ]

    Hello

    Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.

    Please see:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-GB/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx

    Microsoft issues never not solicited for phone calls of support or security.

    These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

    Hello

    What phone number and what site please.

    And read this information;

    Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.

    There is an article in the link I'm you provide at the end of this one

    Read this Information from Microsoft:

    "Avoid scams to phone for tech support.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx

    Don't be fooled of unsolicited calls. Don't provide personal information.

    Another question - in BBOS has been object of PhoneLogListener. I can't find an alternative to new BB10. How to access phone log?

    You can access the sender of a signal by calling sender(), in your case it would be the class phone I guess.

  • Call.phoneNumber () does not return the phone number

    I try to use the new method Call.phoneNumber () which was introduced in 10.3:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/reference/Cascades/bb__system__phone__call.html?f=call#FUNCT...

    Even if I added the permission of read_phonecall_details according to the documentation, I'm still not received the phone number of outgoing calls placed on the device. The call to Call.phoneNumber () returns an empty string.

    I use the Simulator to 10.3 (10.3.0.698) with Momentics 2.1 and placing me calls using the controller.

    Someone managed to get the phone number? Any ideas on how to make this work would be appreciated.

    It is a known problem in the Simulator, but works fine on a real device.  The bug appeared in Issue Tracker here: Call.phoneNumber () always returns a null in the Simulator

  • Cannot transmit the phone number to variable to call

    I know that this is probably something easy, but for the life of me I can't understand it.  I looked through dozens of messages here and experienced a lot, but in vain.  Here's what I'm trying to do.

    I have a button that, when clicked, pulls up the contact list and returns any input is selected by the user.  The number is then supposed to be stored in a variable called elsewhere in the application to make the call.

    Here is my code:

               protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time) {

                try {
                    BlackBerryContactList contacts = (BlackBerryContactList)BlackBerryPIM.getInstance().openPIMList(BlackBerryPIM.CONTACT_LIST, BlackBerryPIM.READ_WRITE);
                    BlackBerryContact contact = (BlackBerryContact)contacts.choose();

                    String phonenumber1 = "";
                    int numValues = 0;
                    numValues = contact.countValues(BlackBerryContact.TEL);

                    for (int i = 0; i < numValues; i++) {
                        if (contact.getAttributes(BlackBerryContact.TEL, i) == BlackBerryContact.ATTR_MOBILE) {
                            phonenumber1 = contact.getString(BlackBerryContact.TEL, i);
                            break;
                        }
                    }

    This code used to shoot to the top of the list of contacts, an entry to retrieve and assign the number to a variable.  (which is obviously "phonenumber1")

    Then I have the same code which is included in the same category:

                protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time) {

                        PhoneArguments call = new PhoneArguments (PhoneArguments.ARG_CALL, phonenumber1);
                        Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_PHONE, call);

                    return true;
                }

    This is related to another button.  So, basically, I want to get back with one button, and then, after that, phone number click on another button which then places the call to the stored number.

    To NOTE ALSO: That the compiler catches the variable 'phonenumber1' in this second batch of code and it gives me the error:

    "phonenumber1 cannot be resolved.

    I use the plugin eclipse with JDE 4.7.

    I'm sure it's something simple, but for the life of me, I can't understand it.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

    If the variable is accessible by several methods in your class, it is a variable 'Member' and should be declared outside any method.

    Like this:

    public class {Foobar

    String foo;   //<--- this="" variable="" has="" global="" scope="" within="" the="" class="" and="" is="" visible="" to="" all="">

    public Foobar() {}

    }

    }

  • Bubble ID calling of Windows and scan fax said ring, but phone number does not appear

    I have a dual-boot machine. Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7. The modem I (Agere Systems PCI - SV92PP Soft Modem) works with both versions of Windows. Under XP, when the phone rings, Windows fax service appears a bubble of info with the number of the caller in it as it should. In Windows 7, the same pop bubble, but it just says: 'ringing '.  How can I fix this problem so that the phone number is displayed in Windows 7, as if it were in XP? I found some info on it somewhere (sorry, I can't find it now) that said to send a command to a modem, and then restart Windows and watch log file of the modem to see if the caller ID information are recorded in the log and it is, but the number is not displayed in the information bubble.

    I have yet to hear anything of LSI, but a few days ago, I thought about giving up everything on this and tried to install some programs to free caller id to see if they had a job. I didn't like any of them, but one of them did something to the modem or the driver when I installed it because now the caller ID bubble works as it should, with the number of the person calling. I uninstalled the free program that has fixed this, but I'll save it in case I ever have this problem again and I can use the program to fix it again.

  • What is a phone number to call microsoft on reinstalling windows 7 pro on a new computer because the old computer crashed?

    My old computer with Windows 7 Pro on this subject has crashed and is not recoverable, even if I had a few upward.  I bought a new computer with Windows 7 home Premium and want to install my Windos7 pro on this subject.  Is there a phone number to call to help walk me through it?

    Windows 7 Professional come preloaded on your old computer? If that were the case, you are unable to transfer it to the new computer. OEM licenses are tied to the computer on which they are preloaded.

    If it is a retail update version or complete, you can try to reactivate by phone:

    How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
