• USB and camera card readers do not appear in Microsoft Explorer

  When I open Windows Explorer, my USB drives and camera card readers make their appearance is no longer.  They always showed up there in the past.  Can someone tell me please how to make them reappear?

  I tried to plug something on them, but readers still are not displayed.

  I imported the photos from my camera card and created a collection.  I then remove my the USB card reader.  When I try to edit photos in lightroom, it says "file is not found."  It is the folder if I set my camera card in.  It seems that my collections are stored on the card in my camera (is this possible?), but I don't know how this could happen or how to fix it.   It seems that when you imported the images from the card you added in the catalog instead of making a copy. in the window at the top import, we have the option 'copy as dng', 'copy' , 'move', 'Add '.

  choose copy, and then on the right, we will get the destination Panel. in which we can choose the destination in which we have to copy the images from the card.

  Hello. Tonight I just installed LR 6.0.1. I have LR 5.7.1. I disabled autostart with import of camera for LR 5 card and turned on in LR 6 - but LR 5 continues to open instead. I also have LR 6 chosen in settings of Windows Autorun for camera cards - but he continues to insist on the opening of the LR5 to import the contents of the card. What should I do to convince LR6 to open rather than LR5?

• Copy photos from a camera card

  I would like to copy some of the pictures that is held in the Organizer in format raw CR2, without losing them in an original format in the Organizer, camera card and convert them to JPEG or similar on the camera card such that they can be read by machine to store photo processing.  Is this feasible?

  Choose Jpeg.

  I have a VI that puts in place a continuous grab for four camera link cameras at 100 Hz (512 x 640).  I have the cameras running on an external clock of 100 Hz for synchronization (comes from box NI DAQ, trigger ports on 1430 cards are not connected to anything).  The VI sticks all the frames in a queue, and then I (slowly) he writes to disk after that I get what I want.

  The problem is, for a minute 4 capture, I get only about 14 000 items in the queue instead of 24 000.  Also, each image gets populated with a number of buffer, so I can see it is missing all the other images or something like that, sometimes it will jump 10 in a row, sometimes it will jump rare... any ideas?

  I see a number of problems with the approach in your VI that I'll try to cover...

  Your consumption with queues and images won't work as you wrote because the images are a type of reference data and so put them in the queues is not copy data values, only the references. So if you keep to the same reference to the image in a queue, they are all pointing to the same data of the image (which may be substituted).

  A better approach is to have two queues of images, representing the 'free' pads and then one that represents the images 'full' (your queue current consumer). You would then have your acquisition loop pull a 'free' image, fill it with data via a Get buffer call and then queue it for your use. Your consumer could pull this queue, do its thing and then queue the image to the queue 'free' for the producer to use again.

  In addition, your code does not currently use the lower level is VI buffer, so you take advantage of the buffering model input-output IMAQ uses internally. The simple Grab acquire VI returns only the most recent image, but if you fall at all it does not use the FIFO. You want to call make buffer with a buffer incremeenting number so that you do not skip the buffers and are allowed to get behind up to the number of buffers in the buffers configured list.

  My Pavillion Elite cannot read the memory card from my digital camera from Canon.  It doesn't matter if I use the provided by Canon or the SD/MMC slot USB card reader built into the computer.  I have no problem loading the pictures of my old Olympus via the old fashioned the USB cable.  What gives?

  Hello Katusha, here is a link to Amazon that shows some criticism for your card reader. Many users don't give good reviews this card reader. It seems that this card reader costs less than $5,00 USD, it might not be very good at this price there.

  Since it is a USB plug, no driver should be necessary that the drivers already installed for the USB ports, which would be included in the chipset driver package.

  Wb2001 suggested, the best way to download pictures from a camera would be via a USB cable connected from the camera and connected to a USB port on the computer.

  I suggest looking for a compatible USB cable for Canon camera, which would connect to the USB port on your computer. It would be the best and fastest in the long term.

  My experience using MATLAB is absent, but if you can call the C API for IMAQ, then you should be able to do.  You can take a look at the help of the reference of the NOR-IMAQ function and specifically examine the functions of Communication series under features low level.

  I have never had a problem downloading my pictures from my camera before but just recently when I insert the card from my camera (sony cyber shot) it makes a noise to say the cards inserted, but I have no icon or nothing comes up on my screen... Please help

  If you have built in Media Player... with slots for memory cards...
  each unit would be recognized as a removable drive with a drive letter.

  Reach... Start button / workstation... and you should see the readers
  on your computer. If the ' removable disks are not there... you
  must be a hardware problem with your Media Player.
