  More than likely your MBP has a hardware problem that cannot be properly addressed at an Apple store genius bar.

  You can try to reinstall an OSX, but I doubt if that will be successful.

  Start > click your user account > downloads

  If this isn't there, look at the root of the drive where Windows is installed to C:\

  You can also view files such as Public downloads

  I leaned on the use of the camera myself recently. It seems that thanks to the API of AIR for the camera PlayBooks this that some limited, probably because the feature is more oriented to the 'webcam' use (and so 'standards' lower resolutions of 320 x 240) rather than of 3MP/5MP cameras!

  My discoveries, the camera resolution maximum that I could reach is 1280 x 720 using the camera.setMode method - this result is the same for both front and rear cameras. Basically, I've tried passing a lot of higher resolution settings (ie. 2560 x 1440) then read the camera.width and camera.height return - properties in all cases, it had been lowered to 1280 x 720. Reading the documentation from adobe for the setMode method it says:

  If the camera does not have a native for all parameters that you pass mode, Flash Player selects a capture mode that most closely synthesizes the requested mode.

  This is the bit I don't understand! Surely, the cameras have native modes to achieve 3/5MP? As it is 1280 x 720 is only 0.9MP - so, how do we get the last 2.1/4.1MP of resolution?

  On the rise, both devices appear to support a mode 1024 x 600 which would suit you for your view full screen and should avoid stretching!

  So, for now, it seems that 1280 x 720 is the maximum resolution that we can achieve with AIR - I suspect Java and other lower level languages can take full advantage of the hardware and get the complete picture 3MP/5MP. However, if anyone experts out there knows a way to get more resolution than this use of AIR (in our application do not invoke the camera app built!), I'd love to know how its done!

  It would also be useful if anyone knows all available resolutions "native" camera on the playbook (RIM!), if they could view details here, because I can't find any information about these anywhere!

  And the DNG Converter does not reduce the quality of the file. The only thing I can think is that you checked use lossy compression in the preferences.

  I have problems with Camera Raw and Photoshop and I do not know how to proceed. My pictures are very different when it is open to these programs in comparison when open in Adobe Bridge and camera. Photoshop and Camera Raw change elements of photographs in a negative way (for me). I'll try to use a screen shot to illustrate.

  The left image is seen in Bridge and on my camera and I want that image to look like more or less. Unfortunately, when open in Camera raw (figure on the right) the colors are very obviously different. How can I prevent that from happening.   My best guess is that you're displaying overview integrated camera into Bridge. Check the grid icon in the toolbar and see if it is set to prefer embedded or high quality. Uses of quality high ACR to regenerate previews feature current development settings, or, if no parameters are applied, running by default.

  Glimpses of the bridge are in fact of sRGB, and images with larger ranges tend to look breath.

  I don't know how experienced you Raw/ACR, but it should be noted that embedded previews are based on settings in the camera control setting of the image, contrast, Saturation, etc.. Whereas previews ACR are based on ACR defaults (which you can modify to your taste), camera profile and development settings. ACR does not take into account most of the settings of your camera.
