  You can transfer your files and they will be open in an operating system to 64 biot.  You cannot transfer your programs - none of them, not because of the thing to 64-bit, but you can't just.

I was lucky for me and my family, I'm enough common sense to know how to apply updates to avoid the problems of the operating system, but not everyone has this education and too many times same own OS Win with very little in option programs/software and hardware drivers downloaded) have more up-to-date flaws then seems reasonable.
