Camera profiles

Is it possible to download and insert the profile of camera for Canon EF 16-35mm II lens in LR v4.4 (not a sub-cloud)?

Hi Pemaquid,

The profile of this lens is not available for Lightroom 4.4

You can give a try to download the profile and put in the right place:

  • Lightroom can't change the photos of mark IV 5 d in 1DS camera profiles

May I ask on Lightroom camera profiles? I can't change the photos of mark IV 5 d in 1DS camera profiles. When I tried to change it, the color saturation is very low, as black and white photos.

Before I used Adobe DNG Converter & DNG Profile Editor to make my own Canon 1DS camera profiles. The effects of the 1DS the color profiles that surrounds the peoples were adorable. It was a success with 5 d mark III.

But now, using the new camera 5 d IV. I followed the steps of old, using DNG Profile Editor to open it and then choose Canon 1DS DCP to export. The effects of saturation of color does not become as before. It turns very low over the DNG Profile Editor, when I tried to export a new dcp 1DS file in lightroom, looks still very low color saturation.

I would ask if anyone has come across such a problem...

I hope that someone can help and can solve my problem.

    Thank you!

someone already answered my question. The answer is: in the DNG profile editor just add + 1 saturation (any button of saturation), it goes back to normal.

    Thank you all!

  • GO CRAZY! ACR camera profiles

When I open a raw file with my d700 in ACR, I get all sorts of custom from the dropdown options camera profile. When I open a file with my D750, they are all gone, except for the half dozen standard (Adobe, neutral, Portraits, etc.).

    WTF I'm missing here?

Profiles are specific to each camera model, so if you bought for the D700, then you would probably need to buy them, once again, for the D750, if they still exist for this camera.  Addition profiles there are a set of predefined settings that also apply in conjunction with the profiles, if I remember correctly.

  • How to create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? [was: color Checker chart.] Really need help]

I got a color chart to check. It came not with any software whatsoever. I shoot my images in JPG format. I know it's not really ideal but I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money for a digital SLR cameras that shoot raw. Is there anyway that I can always create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? My table also includes RGB values below each color. Maybe I can match each color in the photo these values manually? If so how is this done?

    Thank you

    Bryce

I've never seen software that does what you ask for JPGs, only RAWs.  The main problem is that any profile or adjustment is calculated according a JPG of a particular chart photo would apply to the other JPG photos with the same white balance.

Jpg does not use "camera profiles" anyway in Lightroom, the profile is always integrated.

There is a product that allows to calculate the HSL cursor offset values given a JPG photo their own table owner who looked like a color checker, but had two lines reversed so the software could not be used with a standard-checker color, unfortunately.  Now their table has twice as many patches (48), and looking at it on their site I'm not too sure that it does not always work with JPGs or if she's just raw files, now.

The graphic and software are called SpyderCheckr of Datacolor.  There are various software that do different things, but none are using a ColorChecker, so having one is mainly a loss until you get a camera that can take raw photos, so keep a humidity and temperature controlled environment as much as possible until you have the right camera.  You can probably use the grey patches to adjust exposure, but that's all.

Today you need not a digital SLR to have raw photos, well.  My phone Galaxy S6 with the last update of Marshmallow and the software of camera update will take photos in format raw DNG in Pro mode which I can create custom profiles camera to use a ColorChecker, although the camera is really good in itself, so when I found everything first he could make DNG I took a little but now, I usually just use the camera to make the jpg unless the shot is really important and the lighting is not too hard.  I think that S7 phone's camera is even better.

What kind of camera do you have?  Sometimes, there are firmware hacks that allow the camera to shoot raw format even if the standard camera cannot.

  • Problem of calibration of WB with 1DX Mark II camera profiles

It seems that the calibration of the WB's messy hair for the color simulation profiles 1DX Mark II manufacturer.

For example, a + 5100 17 WB value becomes 4300-13 when the profiles using colorimetric simulation manufacturer instead of Adobe Standard.

This should be a quick and easy solution to your software engineers, I guess?

    Thanks in advance!

I downloaded a sample 1DX Mark II file here: Canon 1DX II Image Test digital camera digital, camera

The ACE shot WB is 5350-21 Adobe Std and -4350 50 Std of the camera, but the World Bank is the same for both. Using the pipette WB I get 5700-19 Adobe Std and 4650-47 with correct WB (R = G = B). Clearly the 'Caméra' profiles are incorrect to WB settings should be the same as the Standard Adobe. My Canon 300 d, 600 d, and 5 d MKII all show the same WB As Shot or parameters when you use the pipette WB.

    Surrephoto wrote:

However, after having tasted a white area or map using the pipette WB, the value is locked regardless of the profile used and will result in wrong WB if you switch between these profiles.

I'm not sure what you mean by "value is locked." When you use the pipette WB it changes the settings of temperature and tint values. If you change the profile of the camera should not change the settings of the WB. The issue is due to different WB settings in the 'Camera' profile vs Adobe Standard profile.

I modified the 1DX Mark II camera Standard profile using Adobe DNG Profile Editor (DPE) as below and values is now about the same (±50 Temp, tinted ±1) to the values for the parameters "As Shot" and pipette Adobe Standard WB WB. Since I don't own a Canon Mark II 1DX I suggest you report the problem here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family.

Click on 'New message' and follow the instructions and select the Type of Conversation > problem. Please, include a link to this post in the report and add an answer here with a link to the new report. Thank you! If you need help let me know.

DPE: WB calibration changed to Temp-11, Edit > WB Reset for the current Image, save new camera profile to the folder "User".

    Hi all

I'm new to Mac, but I am trying to install a profile of the camera for lightroom

    (latest version).

    HD/users/username/LibraryApplicationSupport/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfile.

I managed to put the camera profile (folder) in the:

/ Applications/Adobe Lightroom folder / Adobe Lightroom.app/Contents/Resources/CameraProfiles/camera. However, this doesn't seem to work.

the problem is, I can't find this specific folder 'user' (maybe it's just my inexperience with mac).

I would appreciate your help with this.

    Thank you!

  • Remove the calibration of camera profile

I experimented with ColorChecker Passport of XRite and created several camera profiles.  I have one, I am satisfied and I'll delete the rest of

    C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

    as described elsewhere.

QUESTION: What happens if there are still images that use one of the deleted profiles?  Will they get just "Adobe Standard" applied, or this (reference to non-existent profile) will cause a problem in the catalog database?

I decided to try this by the movement of old profiles out of the folder (do not remove) with Lightroom does not, then from Lightroom

The answer is that the image returns to the camera's ' Adobe Standard' profile.

  • Mac Mavericks. Camera raw 9.1. Camera Nikon D810. How to set the default settings of the camera profile standard (now available after downloading the camera profile and copy it into the appropriate file)? Is it possible to apply also in the pictures showe

Oops... did not write the question where I... How to set the default settings of the camera profile standard (now available after downloading the camera profile and copy it into the appropriate file)? Is it possible to apply too in images showed in the bridge? I'm a newbie in the forums and I'm not sure how to proceed.

You can right click and copy the settings on an image that has the right profile. Then highlight all the images that you want to edit, right click and paste the settings. On the list that is displayed, simply choose the camera calibration.

    Hello

I just installed Lightroom 6 and I find two versions profiles for Nikon D4S.

Example, there are the profile " " Standard camera" and the profile " ""standard camera v2 "." That means this version 2 of the camera Profile?

    Tank you

There have been second versions of profiles for some cameras. The first profiles do not meet the needs of the users, so a second profile was created. The original has been preserved for those who have used the profile and wanted to continue to do so.

  • How can I find the camera profiles and load them in Camera Raw?

I did a clean install of Windows 7 and reloaded all my apps. Photoshop CS5 Camera Raw used to show my Canon 60 d and its objective, and he has now no camera profile. I found a way to search the photo/target device profile in Photoshop (filter - Correction of the goal), but not how to save him, so I have to do whenever I load PS I can not yet know how to get one in Camera RAW. Doesn't seem like it should be so difficult. I should have thought of it when I'm in charge of CS5, but now I can't seem to get there. I thought that a quick Google trip would solve the problem, but without SOAP so far. A lot of advice on the use of profiles, but nothing (except the invalid pages), saying: how to get things pretty in there first. Any help would be appreciated.
