Remove the calibration of camera profile

I experimented with ColorChecker Passport of XRite and created several camera profiles.  I have one, I am satisfied and I'll delete the rest of

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

as described elsewhere.

QUESTION: What happens if there are still images that use one of the deleted profiles?  Will they get just "Adobe Standard" applied, or this (reference to non-existent profile) will cause a problem in the catalog database?

I decided to try this by the movement of old profiles out of the folder (do not remove) with Lightroom does not, then from Lightroom

The answer is that the image returns to the camera's ' Adobe Standard' profile.

I just reinstalled my OS 10.5 on my system. I backed up my entire drive before reinstalling.

The profiles should be installed with Lightroom 2.4 or 2.5.

  • Where should I save the profile of calibration of camera for Lightroom 2?

I created a few DNGS through DNG Profile Editor camera profiles. For the calibration of camera in Camera Raw, I save these files .dcp in C:\ Administrator\ Documents and Settings\ Application Data\ Adobe\ Camera Raw------CameraProfiles. However, I could ' t find such a subfolder in the folder Lightroom, we know where should I save the files from STC for Lightroom 2? Thank you

This is the same installation folder for Camera Raw and Lightroom (i.e., a .dcp installed in the folder you have described will be readable by the CR and LR).

  • What is the Adobe Standard and other camera profiles?

OK, so I use my Canon 5 d mark II, RAW view taken in the neutral picture style.  When I insert the photo into Lightroom at the bottom under the Calibration of the camera program that displays by default, he asked photography using the Adobe Standard camera profile.  My question is: Lightroom taking the final result of the RAW data being turned with the neutral picture style and loading in Lightroom where it translates into photography (RAW + neutral picture style) uses the Standard Adobe?  Or Lightroom takes photography (RAW + neutral picture style) and the substitution of the neutral function picture style setting in my camera and its replacement by a different style of photo he calls Adobe Standard?

One another and potentially easier to understand how to ask the question would be if I shot two pictures in RAW, one with the neutral picture style located in my camera and one with the landscape and then load it into Lightroom using Adobe Standard camera profile, the two photographs would be any different?

Sorry, I'm new to digital photography and all the adobe programs and would be very happy with the help of a veteran.

The pictures would be exactly the same. The style of photo that your device is set on makes no difference to the raw image. This style of photo is distributed in your raw as just a tag file that indicates the Canon raw converter how to interpret the data. Adobe does not use this information.

It is up to you to choose the profile that meets your artistic desires.

  • Apply camera profile

I imported more than 2,000 photos in the catalog and I noticed all of them have been applied with the Adobe Standard camera profile, is there a way to change that in a single step?  It is impossible for me to change the settings one by one.  I tried "copy and paste settings", but it did not work because the camera profile is not included in the copy action.

In addition, how to set the camera profile by default so that future imports will also open with my camera profile?

    Thank you

    ST

You can set default values by the camera in the develop module.

    1. open a picture of the camera whose default value you want to set.

    2. Select the desired profile in the Calibration section of the camera.

3 hold the Alt/Option key and click on the button "set as default... "to the

at the bottom of the right panel.

Thereafter, all newly imported from this camera images will be chosen

    View profile.

Thanks for the tip.  It worked.  But how about setting the default value of camera

  • GO CRAZY! ACR camera profiles

When I open a raw file with my d700 in ACR, I get all sorts of custom from the dropdown options camera profile. When I open a file with my D750, they are all gone, except for the half dozen standard (Adobe, neutral, Portraits, etc.).

    WTF I'm missing here?

Profiles are specific to each camera model, so if you bought for the D700, then you would probably need to buy them, once again, for the D750, if they still exist for this camera.  Addition profiles there are a set of predefined settings that also apply in conjunction with the profiles, if I remember correctly.

  • Cannot export the profile of calibration of camera when exporting catalogs

I often take work and have to color calibrate the artwork using a color corrector.  The 'calibration of the camera profile' is saved in my "camera profiles.  I attached pushes a lot so when you export a catalog LR my laptop on my desk, the calibrated camera profile is not transferred. So whenever I do a manual transfer to the camera profile folder.   When can we expect the 'calibration of the camera profile' export as well as the catalogue?

    Concerning

The way the file structure is designed, I don't expect camera profiles to be included in the catalogue. They are all grouped in the resources folder in the Lightroom folder. Lightroom chooses the profile based on the model of camera. This would require all profiles of camera must be included in the catalogue. I could be wrong, but I don't think that this is part of the Adobe development plan.

  • No camera profile in the choice to develop chapter calibration

I have Lightroom 2.6 installed on my desktop computer, as well as on my laptop.  The two are running Win7 64-bit.  The Standard Adobe and Standard camera profiles will not appear as choices in the Panel calibration on my desktop computer, but they are showing on my laptop for the same images.  I can see the profiles of school boards for my Pentax K20D in C:\Program Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles, but they are not a choice in the drop-down list of calibration.  I don't see ACR 4.4.  On my laptop, all three are available as choice.

The only other difference between the facilities, I had the demos Lightroom 2.5 and CS4 installed on the desktop before I settled on Lightroom.  At the time I bought Lightroom, 2.6 was so I installed that on the demo of 2.5 and just added my product key.  Lightroom 2.6 has been installed on the laptop immediately.

I don't see any configuration option for everything related to the camera profiles and put profiles in C:\Users\Myuser\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles does nothing.  I have also seen somewhere on the net to delete the index.dat in this directory, then restart Lightroom so rebuilt the cache profile, but this had no effect for me.

I'm puzzled.  Can anyone shed some light on this for me?  Perhaps some obscure registry entry somewhere?

You can try to download and running profiles updated camera update program for cab and see if she does something to make visible profiles.

This option is available if you go to

    http://www.Adobe.com/downloads/updates

and then ACR 5.6, then the link to the top that leads to the manual update to Photoshop Elements... which is a ZIP that contains the program executable setup of profiles with a 32-bit and 64-bit of the ACR plugin version.

  • Problem of calibration of WB with 1DX Mark II camera profiles

It seems that the calibration of the WB's messy hair for the color simulation profiles 1DX Mark II manufacturer.

For example, a + 5100 17 WB value becomes 4300-13 when the profiles using colorimetric simulation manufacturer instead of Adobe Standard.

This should be a quick and easy solution to your software engineers, I guess?

    Thanks in advance!

I downloaded a sample 1DX Mark II file here: Canon 1DX II Image Test digital camera digital, camera

The ACE shot WB is 5350-21 Adobe Std and -4350 50 Std of the camera, but the World Bank is the same for both. Using the pipette WB I get 5700-19 Adobe Std and 4650-47 with correct WB (R = G = B). Clearly the 'Caméra' profiles are incorrect to WB settings should be the same as the Standard Adobe. My Canon 300 d, 600 d, and 5 d MKII all show the same WB As Shot or parameters when you use the pipette WB.

    Surrephoto wrote:

However, after having tasted a white area or map using the pipette WB, the value is locked regardless of the profile used and will result in wrong WB if you switch between these profiles.

I'm not sure what you mean by "value is locked." When you use the pipette WB it changes the settings of temperature and tint values. If you change the profile of the camera should not change the settings of the WB. The issue is due to different WB settings in the 'Camera' profile vs Adobe Standard profile.

I modified the 1DX Mark II camera Standard profile using Adobe DNG Profile Editor (DPE) as below and values is now about the same (±50 Temp, tinted ±1) to the values for the parameters "As Shot" and pipette Adobe Standard WB WB. Since I don't own a Canon Mark II 1DX I suggest you report the problem here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family.

Oops... did not write the question where I... How to set the default settings of the camera profile standard (now available after downloading the camera profile and copy it into the appropriate file)? Is it possible to apply too in images showed in the bridge? I'm a newbie in the forums and I'm not sure how to proceed.

You can right click and copy the settings on an image that has the right profile. Then highlight all the images that you want to edit, right click and paste the settings. On the list that is displayed, simply choose the camera calibration.

  • Profiles of calibration of camera for Leica M - P in Lightroom

Generally, there are profiles of Calibration of camera for digital cameras in the Lightroom Develop module. I couldn't find these benefits for my Leica M - P I bought this month. Why?

I know that there are four movie Modes for Leica M - P:

    1. turn off (it should be Standard)

    2. vivid color film

    3 smooth color film

4 B & W and for which, there are six filters:

    a. Off (it should be the Standard B & W)

    b. yellow

    c. Orange

    d. Red

    e. Green

    f. Blue

Leica M - P offers beautiful images for each movie Mode on when I shoot with jpg file. Lightroom is my favorite software. Unfortunately I couldn't find profiles of Calibration of camera for Leica M - P when I choose DNG for shooting. This means that I could not use DNG and get the same results that I shoot with jpg. It's really frustrating!

Could you tell me how to solve this problem? Please don't tell me to create them myself using Adobe DNG Profile Editor, or to find them through some websites.

To my knowledge, old Leica M3 user in 1972 to M8s in 2007, the M - P is just a Leica M Type 240 with some additional features/design/model.

So it will probably not all profiles camera-specific for the M.-P. The M - P uses the exact same sensor and electronics as the 240 Type.

But then there was probably a M9 M.-P. I'm not sure. There should be a few more other than just M.-P model designation.

You can put this issue on the forums of L-Camera which deals exclusively with Leica.
