Camera RAW 7 and 9 elements

I'm using the Beta version of CS6, and there is a program of CAMERA RAW 7 that I would use in my program elements. The editor of RAW elements (current) has always cursors in a preset configuration, not zero. Using CS6 Beta, the editor of Camera RAW (7) opens with the sliders set to zero, a much better way to edit. Given that I'm a bit overwhelmed by CS6, I resorted to the edition of RAW with version beta, it closes all by saving the. Given DNG and then open to the elements and continuing from there. I have 7 WINES, but if anyone can help with my problems with my version, this is so cool! I tried to change the settings, nothing seems to do the trick. Thank you *.

With the PSE Camera Raw Editor, if you click on the little icon of tedious, you can set your preferred default ACR settings:

This link shows that 8.3 ACR supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.

If you can switch to CS6 and ACR 8.7.1

or using the DNG converter, convert your Nikon raw files to DNG to open in CS5.

Here is the download link: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1

  • Every time I make an external edition with 12 LR6 elements it tells me I need Camera Raw 9, but the elements will not update to Camera Raw 8.5. How to stop this message pop up?

Can I stop this pop up does not happen? Or is there a work-around that will get Camera Raw 9 install on 12 items?

Here, I'm a bit confused. The message, in LR long before the opening of the elements. I don't see this as a question of items other than the items will not be upgraded past 8.5. It's a LR definition probably

It is actually both a Lightroom and Photoshop Elements problem. The version of Lightroom you are using search Camera Raw 9 to make sure that the image is properly translated when it transfers from Lightroom to Photoshop Elements. Lightroom can see that you have only the version of camera raw. Lightroom notifies you as well as the transition between Lightroom and elements might not transfer all adjustments using Lightroom. So, it should give a free choice either way you or edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments. The second option is the one you should choose. Then Lightroom will create a TIF or PSD file (depending on your external editing options) and send this file to the elements. The only way you can completely solve this problem is to have a version of Photoshop Elements, which is fairly new to use the same version of camera raw that Lightroom is looking for. If you don't want to upgrade your version of elements, then you should choose the option to edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments.

Camera Raw is used when you transfer the file from Lightroom to elements to translate the raw settings and create an image that can be edited in the elements. By itself without camera raw, Photoshop Elements cannot change raw images. The image must be converted before its opening in Photoshop Elements.

  • Olympus Tough TG - 4 raw images and Photoshop elements 11

I use Adobe Photoshop elements on a Mac 11.  I prefer to shoot in raw and edit raw images from a Canon 650 d and a Panasonic DMC - LX3.  I just bought an Olympus Tough TG-4 because it's the only compact tough camera that shoot raw.  Olympus is supported by Adobe Camera Raw 9.1.1 but appears not to be available for 11 elements. Have no option other than CS6 upgrade or change in the Olympus software?

This can occur if your screen resolution is set too low.  Despite what the requirements are on the box it must be higher.

What resolution are you using, and can set you at least 1280 x superior?

  • Photoshop or Camera Raw, Lightroom and Photoshop (with Bridge)?

Since then, if I understand correctly, Camera Raw is a match for the Lightroom Develop Module these days, I wonder how using Camera RAW and Photoshop with bridge as an organizer, compared with Lightroom and Photoshop.

Would be grateful pros Rapids or disadvantages on these two approaches.  Thanks in advance.

That would explain the differences and circumstances: Photoshop Lightroom of Versus, which is right for you?

  • Pls help. My Camera Raw, CS6, and Lightroom will only read the NAVE of D610 files.

I've recently updated to Nikon D610 and NEF files were not readable from my old version of CS6, Camera Raw and Lightroom. So downloaded the recommended updates and I now have Camera Raw 8.4.0.199; Lightroom 5.3; CS6 13.01. But still has not read my D610 NAVE. Help, please. Thank you.

Oh wait, I had. Just in case for those who have the same scenario. I downloaded my D610 NEF files using the old software ViewNX 2.1 and it was the cause of the incompatibility. So, I improved my ViewNX to 2.9 and downloaded my images again. And it worked this time.

  • QQ on Camera Raw Cache and why mine is empty

Small question about Camera Raw Cache:

    Mine is empty. Always.

I read that the develop module stores information about the pictures, it opens in the Camera Raw Cache, while the library module stores its previews in the adjacent LRDATA directory to the Lightroom Catalog. I also read that the first can be stored anywhere and are limited to a size specified in preferences, whereas the latter must accompany the catalog file and has no limit on its size.

Why so my Cache Raw camera always empty? I'm going in and out of the develop module, edit, switch between photos to develop, see 1:1 and larger images to breast to develop, etc. Should not that cause the cache to be generated in Camera Raw Cache entries? I tried to move my Camera Raw Cache of preferences and I the size of the cache the value 30 GB with plenty of space on the disk, but it is always empty.

The Camera Raw cache entries consist of a few early demosaiced and partially processed data which gives a head start when loading the image in the develop module. But ultimately, it is the original and complete file that is finally loaded once the raw conversion and a modifiable built and displayed real-time preview. This happens whenever you load a picture to develop. A Jpeg file is little different in the way it is loaded, i.e. the complete original of the file is read each time and the real-time preview generated, except that as there is no raw conversion to do it are obviously didn't need at this time for this entry cache to exist. There is no file of 'internal' which was held to facilitate the process of development, the LRDATA extracts are mainly for use in the library only.

  • Camera Raw Versions and PSE

On my Windows 7 PC, I installed (and have a license for) among others the PSE V10 and V12 PSE.  On my PC, when you edit a NAVE of Nikon, PSE V10 uses Camera Raw 6.4.1 and PSE V12 Camera Raw 8.2.

Given that on my C drive, I see only one copy of a folder named "NIKON D5000" (this file is in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\Camera Profiles\Camera), I have the impression that 6.4.1 versions and Version 8.2 Camera Raw share identical patterns of the camera.   This impression/assumption is correct?

Question No. 1: Can I conclude, that (as the two Raw camera Version share the same camera profile folders), if I buy a Nikon D5300 (which gets officially supported by Camera Raw 8.n (n is probably equal to or greater than 3)), which once Camera Raw 8.n (n = > 3) will be installed on my PC (because it will be the camera Raw Version supported / used by PSE V12) , I'll be able to deal with my future D5300 Nef files both with the combination of PSE V10 Camera Raw 6.4.1 and the combination of PSE V12 and Camera Raw 8.n (although officially, Camera RAW 6.4.1 does not support the D5300)? Thank you very much in advance for your answer.

Question 2: Can someone point me to a downloadable file of the NAVE photographed by the Nikon D7100?
I'll then download this NEF file and see if I can deal with the combination of PSE V10 and Camera Raw 6.4.1. This will allow me to check the answer to question 1. Thank you very much in advance for your answer

N ° they are two separate applications and have cameras different gross plugins. You may be able to copy the file Camera Raw.8bi of PSE12 to PSE10 although some versions of the PSE reject the subsequent updates.

A NAVE of this camera does not open with ACR6.4

  • How to download cs5 Camera raw update and how Photoshop default in the menu "open" bridge?

    Two problems, who defeated me.

First, I have a new Canon EOS 500 d and need to download the recent (July 2010) CS5 Camera Raw update. However, both of my computers freeze when I move from Adobe's Support web page to the download web page.  Is this a known issue? What do about it? I use CS 5 on a computer Windows XP 2007.

Second, (probably related to the first) opening a file in Photoshop is not among the options "OPEN AS" of the bridge. Also, the default 'OPEN' is "PAINTING". How can I configure default menu Photoshop "OPEN"?

Thanks for your suggestions. I am really baffled by these questions.

    JackIsaac

    Your second question:

In Bridge, click Edit > Preferences > file type Associations.  Scroll through the list to find the types of files you want to edit in Photoshop, click on the arrow down.  Click Browse and navigate to Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop and select Photoshop.exe.  (I'm looking at an older version of PS as I type this, but you get the idea... I hope so).

  • What installation version of the Camera Raw Plugin 9.1.1 or 9.4 for Photoshop Elements serve as Canon 5 d R?

I have a v8 of Camera Raw (CR) and 12 elements of Photoshop (with the latest updates). V8 does not work for files Raw of CR of the Canon 5DSR.  Adobe site says CR v9 is suitable for Canon 5 d R but I see the available two - which do I need?

Unfortunately, 12 elements Photoshop is compatible with Camera Raw to version 8.5.

Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility

So there's no way of 12 items, open the Raw files of 5DSR.

    Options:

    1. Upgrade to the 14 elements, or
    2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the 5DSR of the Raw files to DNG, then open the DNG files in 12 items. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  • Photoshop Elements 9 and Adobe Camera RAW 6.6

My other significant just bought a camera Nikon 1 V1. I have an extra copy of 9 elements that I can install on his computer. According to the Release Notes, support for the Nikon 1 V1 began with the ACR 6.6. According to the same Notes, ACR 6.6 runs under Photoshop Elements 9.

"This new plug-in Camera Raw version replaces the original Camera Raw plug-in that was installed with Photoshop CS5, Photoshop Elements 9 and first Elements 9."

    and

"The camera Raw plugin 6.6 is not compatible with versions of Photoshop earlier than Photoshop CS5 or versions of Photoshop Elements earlier than Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows and Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac."

Update to Photoshop Elements page, however, suggest that ACR 6.5 was the latest version of ACR that ran under Photoshop Elements 9. http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=40 & Platform = Windows

That is correct, the Release Notes or the Update Page?

After the installation of photoshop elements 9 on the vista machine, follow the steps below to install the plugin 6.6 camera raw:

1 download the DNG 6.6 converter and install profiles:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5310

    2. download the zip file of 6.6 camera raw plugin:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5316

3 unzip the folder by right-clicking on the folder and choosing extract all

4A inside the folder extracted doulble click the payloads folder

    5. then, double click on the folder of CameraRawForElements6.4All - 011211045300

(should be the second file with a size of 16.0 MB)

    6. right click on Assets2_1.zip and click on extract all

    7. rename the 1002 in Camera Raw.8bi

    8. right click on the Camera Raw.8bi and choose copy

    9. go to:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Plug - Ins\Elements 9\File Formats (vista 64-bit)

    or

    C:\Program Files\Fichiers Adobe Plug-Ins\Elements 9\File Formats (vista 32 bit)

    10. slide the old plugin raw from the camera to the trash and then right-click in the empty space in the folder and choose Paste

Start the editor of PES 9 and less help > about plug-in > Camera Raw should say I hope than version 6.6.
